8/8/25 UPDATE -.this company did send over their lead arborist (without notifying me) who acknowledged damage and agreed to replace the arborvitae with similar size this September. At this point i'm feeling more confident in their professionalism. I will update again when work is completed. read more

He took us all around Sylvan Nurseries in Westport to find the right shrubs and plants for our garden and was very patient about answering our questions and accommodating our preferences. This is an update to my original review of the work Atlantic had done. It seems that the person who I had been working with is (thankfully) no longer there. Nick saw what had been done and was very surprised and apologetic when viewing the lack of cohesive planning of the previous work. He had some very sensible planting suggestions along with some excellent suggestions to go forward with. The Atlantic team that did the replacement planting this week did a great job and was equally surprised at the lack of unity of the original work. It was such a different experience working with everyone this time. I certainly appreciated their offer to repair the original disaster and am a happy customer this time. read more

Nick and his great team just completed a complex job here in Jamestown. We worked with Nick's team to finalize plans (which evolved over time due to external entities). They cleared and replanted our back yard after 5 diseased, felled invasive Norway Maples had been removed. The task was material and resulted in a complete successful restoration/replanting of our back yard. It had been badly damaged by the felled trees last year. The scope of the job involved removing dead shrubs and limbs, replanting, landscaping, leveling the yard and the addition of 13 trees, 9 native bushes and reseeding our lawn. Atlantic does a great job! They created a walkway to our back porch. They were efficient and their design and workmanship was top notch. Nick landscaped our house when 3 other contractors wouldn't touch the job because of the poor water drainage. We have a great front entrance and stone walkway because of him. He has a great eye for detail, understands plants and the use of stone to create areas that flow naturally. He has done a few other houses in our neighborhood (Plum Beach) and they all look great.
