We recently hired Jerry and his team to completely transform our front and backyard, and we couldn't be happier with the results! Our main goal was to have a low-maintenance yard, as both areas were overrun with thick weeds and overgrowth. Jerry helped bring our vision to life beautifully and efficiently. Everything was done in just two days! In the front yard, we had some special succulents that my mom had grown for us when she was visiting from overseas. We really wanted to keep them, and Jerry not only preserved them but also repotted them for us using the pots we provided. We asked for a clean and simple design, and he created a lovely contrast using darker stones for the majority of the space and lighter stones around the succulents. He even styled the stones in a gentle wave pattern between the two colors, which added a nice visual touch without being overwhelming. He also trimmed our front yard tree, which looks so much better now. For the backyard, Jerry and his team tackled our overgrown persimmon trees, thick weeds, and thorny plants with no problem. They laid down the same colored stones as the front and added neat rings of dirt around each of our trees, including our calamansi plant, so everything still had room to grow. To finish it off, they power washed all our outdoor flooring, leaving everything clean, shiny, and fresh. Jerry was extremely reliable, fast, and efficient. Every step of the way, he was easy to work with, always responsive, and very accommodating of our needs and requests. On 2/27/24 I contacted 5 local landscaping companies via Yelp for a quote to finish our backyard. Jerry from all Season was one of two companies who got back to me that same day and were able to schedule me for an estimate the next day. One company came in the morning, Jerry came in the afternoon. I explained what I wanted and had envisioned and Jerry got back to me later that night with a quote. I heard back from the other company 2 days later - Jerry's quote was way more competitive. I waited for one more quote to get my usual 3 and in the end, decided to go with Jerry and All Season Landscaping. We have an event coming up on 3/24/24 and lucky for us, Jerry said he had a cancellation and was able to get our project on the books by Monday 3/11/24. After purchasing a home in Yountville, we were in need of a gardening service to do regular maintenance on the front and back yards. We found ASL via Yelp and after reading the great reviews, scheduled Jerry (the owner) to come out to assess and quote services to us. The first thing they did was give the yards a thorough cleaning up initially and work on the irrigation system. He gave us a fair price and we immediately hired ASL and his crew has been coming out twice a month. Today, Jerry did us a favor, as the backyard drip line just stopped working, and I've been very worried about the Japanese Maple tree dying. I can really appreciate the work now that its been 2 weeks and I'm enjoying seeing my front yard when I drive up and relaxing in my backyard. Place was seriously a mess and neglected; they did some serious cleaning before beginning New section of fence, new drip system front and back, replaced valves, planted coral bark Japanese maples, palm, cherry and pineapple-guava trees and a good number of other plants (flax, day lilly, rose varieties, agave, succulents, etcetera). Click on the 1 star reviews to get the truth about this company. I'm not sure who Jerry is. He seems to be mentioned in some of the good reviews. I dealt with a guy named Preet. We met up and he seemed to listen to my needs, but didn't write anything down. Long story short, they absolutely sucked and did not do what they promised to do. They never completely trimmed the bushes in our yard. Some here and some there to make it look like they did work, but it wasn't ever complete, so our yard always looked like crap. I kept on giving them time to dial it in, and kept on talking with Preet to try and get it all to work out. They also sprayed poisons in our yard to kill weeds when I specifically asked them not to do that, we have dogs. The final straw was when they gouged a 4 foot by six inch slash in one of our beautiful and mature topiary hedges. His non-English speaking crew tried to tell me it was fine. Seriously? DO NOT use this company unless you just need your lawn mowed, or if you love to deal with incompetence. UPDATE: Jerry has been harassing me with messages trying to get me to take down my review. He claims I was serviced by a different company and yet the contact form I filled out to get service is on the website you see listed on this Yelp listing. If that is the case then I got scammed by the good reviews and somehow got shuffled over to Preet? Either way, is this a company you really want to deal with?
