I got a reply not even ten minutes later, and a concrete plan to come out at a time that worked for me later that same week for a free consultation. The man who came out was the son of the owner. He was on time, very friendly, and gave a fair quote. There is no high pressure sales tactics in sight- just a good honest guy and a real family run business. I hired them after a day or two and they scheduled me in for this past Monday. They were here bright and early at 9 am. The crew was respectful of my house and very professional. They cleared that gigantic bush in around two hours. They cleaned up everything afterwards too! Overall, I can't recommend them enough! They are everything that you could want in a business: on time, efficient, clean, and have great communication. Save yourself the trouble- call these guys first.

They made clean cuts, showed good attention to safety, and clearly have experience working with large, established trees. I also appreciated how thoroughly they cleaned up the area afterward--it was left neat and tidy, which made a big difference. The tree still has a strong structure, and it's clear they focused on reducing weight and maintaining safety, which is important with a tree of this size. The only reason I didn't give a full five-star review is that the pruning was slightly more aggressive than expected, particularly with some of the larger limbs. I would have preferred a more gradual approach to preserve a bit more of the natural canopy and shade. Overall, this is a knowledgeable and hardworking team, and I would absolutely consider using them again with a bit more detailed communication beforehand about the extent of trimming.

I never write reviews, but David did such a great job that I felt compelled to write one. First, David replaced three very old, outdated valves. What I appreciated most was that he took the time to explain what he was doing and how the valves and solenoids work together with the controller as a system. As someone who knows very little about sprinkler systems, I really appreciated the clear explanation. Second, he installed four new sprinklers, one of which was a challenge because of the concrete surrounding the PVC piping. In addition, he replaced eight heads, six risers, and capped one sprinkler. He adjusted every single head across four stations and zones, walked me through each zone, made careful micro-adjustments, and explained how everything worked. Lastly, he left my backyard spotless and looking as good as new. I would not hesitate to work with Mark and David at First Class Irrigation again. Speaking of which, I am thinking of having them convert my sprinkler system into a low-maintenance drip irrigation system with a Rachio controller in the near future. Highly recommended!

The Yard Bro's do not disappoint! I am beyond happy with the work they did for us. We did a rock scape in our front yard, cement work, raised beds, landscaping and turf in the back yard. They also redid our fence. The finished product is actually perfect. While I spearheaded the design, Jordan was incredibly helpful with ideas and feedback. His expertise was so helpful and while he was respectful, he was straightforward about things that might not workout for me in the long haul. That was crucial for me. He helped me pick out all the flowers and plants, which I know nothing about, so his insight was a huge benefit. The crew was always on time, respectful, and friendly. These guys have a great character and when you have to have strangers in your space, that's really important. I thought their pricing was very fair and Jordan made sure to help me find the best pricing on materials to save money. Jordan and his crew were awsome. They removed 2 trees and trimmed up two others opening up the other trees and plants in the yard to much needed sun. One of the removed trees was overhanging the roof so now the roof is protected. They ground out the stumps and cleaned up well after themselves. The crew that came every day were consistent with their timing, courteous, and willing to take input. We were starting with a vague diagram of what we wanted, so there were many details to finalize during the process, and they made sure to discuss each of those with us. Nick's bid was less detailed as to what would be included than other bids, so we had started out a little bit uncomfortable, but everything that we'd discussed and expected was included in the price, including adding in trenching to set up for electricity and gas lines that the other companies wanted to charge a lot for. Several months after the job was done, Nick came by to do a wellness check on the yard, including making sure that the irrigation was working properly. He also had some of the crew come by for a few touch up items. We highly recommend Vizcay Landscaping and would definitely hire them again in the future!

When I decided to redo my backyard, I consulted with several contractors. My primary goals were to…read morereplace an aging deck and to cover the yard in pavers reducing the weed potential, which had been an ongoing problem for years. I chose pavers because they have a better track record for longevity than concrete. When I got back the proposals, I appreciated that the one from Forever Green Cali reflected everything I had mentioned in our initial meeting and had the best price. It was clear that attention had been paid during the meeting. Once selected as the contractor, the work began pretty quickly, nailing down details, making selections, identifying the things to stay, etc. The demolition of the existing deck and cleanup of the weeds went fairly quickly. And there were a lot of weeds. The rest of the work of preparing the foundation and sand and then laying the pavers went very quickly as well. Their employees worked very hard and with precision. I had an existing orange tree that was remaining and I really liked the outline that was made around it, including the darker accent pavers. I wanted a tree on the other side of the yard and I had failed to emphasize where I wanted it. When I asked about making a change to pavers already laid out in order to adjust for the tree, Firas was quick to accommodate me, and his employee made the change in no time. This cut out mimics the cut out for the orange tree and really complements it. As a novice at this sort of thing, I appreciated the good suggestions Firas made throughout the process. He and his team were very easy to work with. Part of this process included using their landscape designer to design the planting beds that were around the perimeter. She really took into consideration the kinds of plants I liked and the color scheme that I wanted. After our trip to the nursery, she provided a schematic so that I could anticipate what it would look like and also serve as a guide for the planting of the yard. I absolutely love the result. It is precisely what I wanted. I love the patio that replaced the deck. The edge is trimmed in a darker bullnose paver that makes it visually clear that there is a step down and the lights under the step emphasize this transition. Having broken my arm in the yard five months ago, this is a safety feature that I really appreciate. My backyard is now a much safer place to be which was a primary incentive for this entire project. Had to email them to tell them after a month we never heard anything back. Then they just emailed with no verbiage of our quote. It felt like they virtually just threw us a piece of paper. Glad they showed thier true colors before we did any business with them. Buyer beware!!
