Nick and his crew recently redid our entire backyard landscaping, from the demolition and removal of existing concrete, lawn, and plants, through the installation of pavers, plants, bark, irrigation, and lighting. The crew that came every day were consistent with their timing, courteous, and willing to take input. We were starting with a vague diagram of what we wanted, so there were many details to finalize during the process, and they made sure to discuss each of those with us. Nick's bid was less detailed as to what would be included than other bids, so we had started out a little bit uncomfortable, but everything that we'd discussed and expected was included in the price, including adding in trenching to set up for electricity and gas lines that the other companies wanted to charge a lot for. Several months after the job was done, Nick came by to do a wellness check on the yard, including making sure that the irrigation was working properly.  He also had some of the crew come by for a few touch up items. Vizcay Landscaping did an amazing job at transforming our weed ridden front yard (knee high weeds after the rain) into a beautiful drought resistant landscape. The "before" picture is actually after we mowed the weeds!! I really wanted large concrete steps for a walkway and wanted to keep a little bit of green so they installed a patch of artificial turf for me and everything turned out great!! We went from one of the worst front yards to the best on our street!! (I am biased, of course!) Nick and his crew went above and beyond by replacing the existing river rocks by the garden hose with the new gray rocks. This was not originally included in the quote and I didn't think twice about it but Nick suggested replacing them so the rocks would all match. Awesome customer service!! Recently we just completed a full front and backyard renovation with Vizcay Landscaping. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Nick and his whole team throughout the process. We called at least 10 different landscaping contractors initially. We were able to get 5 or so to actually come out and review the scope of work. Out of those we received only 4 bids, with Vizcay's being the middle ground and the most thoroughly written. We highly appreciated this because we knew with any project, there was potential for changes which create added costs along the way. Nick had great communication and had valuable suggestions. He brought our vision to life and improved upon it. Our yard is just shy of 9,000 sqft and his crew demo'd and redid almost all of it. Nick replaced plants and repaired the watering systems at my father's house. This involved extensive repairs, laying cloth, spreading chips, removing bushes, and replanting trees, and lots of smaller plants. Nick made a special stop to help my father set the watering system controls for the new plants. My father is older and Nick was very kind and went out of his way to help. I tried to get quotes from contractors for this work and Nick was the only professional that I found. He knows what plants work in a space and when to plant them.
