I am in so much pain, I actually have bruises all over my back. I did want someone great. It is clean here. With that being said, the person doing my massage did not speak any English. I was not asked one time if I was ok, if it was too much pressure (wherever I have gone for a massage no matter what the place, I have always been asked). I woke up this morning in the most pain that I have ever been in after getting a massage (and I am used to having deep tissue massages). I thought I would try here. A new place since the person I used to fo somewhere else for many years left due to covid. I was trying to find a place within the same price point. The reviews from other people in regards to the payment is worrisome but thankfully I haven't experienced this. I did see an updated pricing policy written on their wall. I am so saddened as I have an event tonight and it's actually difficult for me to even walk and I am going to have to put make up on my back so people do not think I am abused. I am in pain - and I wasn't in pain when I went in. I think a little discomfort afterwards is normal but not this. I didn't respect this. I remember reading reviews like this from other people but I think it is a personal opinion. Everyone was very courteous when I left and friendly but I just think it's important to be able to have a little communication with your patients when you are doing body work. read more

I've been to many massage places in New York City, downtown and uptown and many are either sorta dirty, or they are too much of wild card with masseuses being either super good or super bad. Bad is when they just pet you or rub you but don't know pressure points too well. Bad is when front desk person calls randomly a masseuse from the back whom is an extra to make the extra money but doesn't have any experience. This review is strictly for foot massages. I called to check if they take walk ins and they said they were full so making an appointment would be better. I scheduled two foot massages for 30 minutes later and they accommodated us right away upon arrival. The set up was a little strange but does the job if you're just needing a quick massage. All the reclining sofa chairs are exactly as pictured in the reviews, lined up next to each other. You sit next to others and you can watch the tv or be on your phone while they work. The massage itself felt great. My massage therapist was very quiet and didn't check in with me verbally but would glance to check my facial expressions. It was rhythmic and really got a lot of the built up walking tension out. The pressure was strong and consistent. They also massage your calves as well. At the end, they added a bit of stone massage briefly and it was a nice touch. 30 minutes was $30 and we got charged extra for using a credit card. They charged $60 for two thirty minute foot massages but the final charge for using a credit card was $66. The workers did expect tip and waited behind us while we paid. Most of the workers don't seem to speak English outside of the one taking phone calls at the front. You should always let them know if it's too much or too little pressure. If you don't mind being in a smaller space with others who are chatting at times, it's a good deal! I'd come back if I was a local. Bring cash to save the on the credit card fee and have tip money! read more

I was sexually assaulted by a male therapist at this location. After I fully processed what had happened, I went back to tell management the next day to tell them what happened to me and prevent it from happening to other women. They called me a "liar" and told me my claims were "boring." They never even had the decency to give me so much as a sorry. I filed a police report and the officers tried to push me to press charges but I couldn't handle it emotionally at the time. I would really love an apology for being retraumatized by the staff who tried to tell me I was lying and treated me in such an inhumane manner. Please avoid this establishment. My husband and I love to get traditional Chinese Foot Massages when we are traveling (and when we are at home for that matter), and this place was right by our hotel and offering a "deal". We were able to walk right in (bonus) but the massage wasn't great. We were in a private room for the two of us (and as is custom we each had opposite sex masseuses). However, they didn't honor the yelp check in promo. And then proceeded to tell us that the "deal" (20% off coupon) they offered us was actually just the listed price already and that if we DIDNT have the coupon, it would be a higher price not listed. We paid, in frustration, and then handed me a receipt to sign that was $10 more than the "deal". When I asked what the charge was for, they said it was for paying with a card. I said, ok, I will pay cash. They said it was too late, so I said I wouldn't sign the receipt and then magically they were able to cancel my transaction and let me pay cash. THEN, as we were leaving, they stopped us and said we didn't tip enough. Grrrrrr read more

First off I am only giving this place two stars because it was really clean and nice inside and they have great prices one hour for $49 . But let's talk about the massage .IT LEFT US IN PAIN! We had a couples massage and had jason and Vivi I don't think they know how to do a deep tissue massage ... even with a deep tissue massage you are suppose to be walking out of there relaxed not in pain . Lastly I did my homework before I chose this place for some crazy reason it has the best reviews out of all the massage spots in astoria ! We were super disappointed, my neck was bothering me a little bit before I went in there and I came out with it killing me! How is this possible? And one review states they take your temperature when you walk in, no one did that for us . So I'm not sure if the reviews are fake or what . read more
