The setup crew was exceptional, the charcuterie was fantastic, and the mozzarella and tomato sticks a crowd pleaser. That laid a great foundation... the aesthetic and atmosphere was perfect. Fresh berries and proportional goat cheese cubes bracketed by meat and cheese trash's. Guests thought that that was the dinner itself! The bar management was great. We had some odd requests on our end and the team made it all work flawlessly. The dinner was simply more of the same awesomeness. My favorite was the chimichurri steak. We were initially extremely excited about All Seasons. We used them for a wedding this spring. When all was said and done (perfect cliché for this situation) I'm at four stars. Excellent service night of. Terrific coordinator and staff. Food was gorgeous- we did a buffet to accommodate many food allergies- and there was plenty to eat. The highlights were crab cake appetizers, cheese and meats and fruit appetizer table, creamy vegan pesto and green salad. Good bread. And chocolate Texas sheet cake for dessert. Most of the food was good. Chicken was not as moist as we hoped and desserts were mixed. Downside was working with the ore-wedding staff. Our initial meeting was good. The tasting went well. But once a deposit was paid the communications fell off. The contract reflected differences from the discussion and after multiple attempts wasn't fixed easily. Emails were not always responded to after a three day wait and miscommunication was handled making the client (the bride - we just paid) feel ignored and then treated a bit rudely. This was a disappointment and made her anxious. Again when it was the day of things were five star and really made for a lovely meal. Shout out to the staff again ans coordinator for being so responsive and helpful and easy to work with. Guests felt special and well taken care of and the bride had a perfect reception. read more

When you book your wedding reception (or any other event) at Grand Island Vineyards, they automatically pair you with All Seasons All Reasons to cater your event. I was skeptical at first about this but after reading reviews and being in contact with them myself, I couldn't have asked for anything better. Jacquie, Ryan & Vanessa ARE AMAZING. They were in constant communication with me, my husband and my mom throughout the entire process. They are all very kind and every time we met up to go over my wants and needs, they made sure to go above and beyond to make this event truly special. Now, let't talk about the food. Oh, em gee. This food is out of this world. Not only were we very happy from tasting to the actual event but each and every one of our guests had nothing great to say about the food. We wanted to cater to all of our guests and a few of them are vegetarians. The meat eaters and vegetarians alike were very pleased with how delicious the food was. Our buffet dinner was Grilled Tri Tip, Breaded Rosemary Chicken, Basil & Artichoke Pesto Linguine, Crush Roasted Red Potatoes, Best of Seasonal Vegetables and Napa Greens Salad. When it came to the setting up process of the event, I needed a little more than 2 hours of preparation. Once ASAR set up, then we could make sure each table had their center pieces and the guestbook and gift table had their decorations. All in all, we were able to make sure everything was set up perfectly even given a short amount of time. The breakdown of the event was a quick and easy process. They all worked as a team to make sure the venue looked like it did before our event took place. They even packed us up with left over food. We have never thrown a party quite like this before and I know that I will be doing more events with ASAR in the future because this event turned out beautifully and I truly thank them for all of the hard work they put into our wedding reception. read more

We had to postpone our wedding due to COVID and they were so understanding and accommodating in a time of major uncertainty. They were SO kind and responsive to my (many, many) questions and revisions. They honored our original contract and agreements which was much appreciated as I know how much businesses were negatively affected during that time. Their professionalism and integrity is a major bonus next to their delicious delivery!!! The majority of our communique and meetings were via email because we don't live in Sacramento and they were responsive and super upbeat. They made absolute certain that our special day was everything we wanted it to be and then some. They also worked with the venue to provide delivery of the rental items, set up and clean up of the event to help make it a lot easier on us. The food was also amazing. We had a buffet style dinner with tacos and enchiladas and it was all so good. The guests all commented on how great it was and our compliments go way out to the chef! We also had ASAR add a dessert bar that had an eclectic variety of pastries. Dessert Buffet Yay! Occasionally our generous landlord of the building I work in would treat their tenants (which my work resides in) to delicious catered food. This time we enjoyed a Holiday Dessert Bar provided by All Seasons All Reasons Catering. The presentation was beautiful and pleasing to the eyes. The long table adorned with wonderful platter of desserts with festive holiday decorations. There were descriptive signs for each dessert and noting gluten-free and peanut-free descriptions. I wasn't able to sample all the desserts as there was a superabundance of them but the ones I did sample were delicious and divine... so yummy! Some of the sweet items served were Tiramisu and Chocolate Mousse served in mini cups, Baklava, Pumpkin Bundt Cake, Cake Pops, Petit Fours, mini Apple Pies, Butterscotch Toffee, a Key Lime Bars and Dutch Apple Pies, Lemon Bars, Red Velvet Cake, vanilla and chocolate mini cupcakes, gotta have Gingerbread cookies for the holidays... and there were a few more others I missed but that's a lot already. Very professional caterers and friendly staff. Definitely classy and would be the talk of your party. They were creatively presented and would make any party a memorable one. ASAR did an amazing job with our wedding! I can't believe I forgot to write a review until now. We originally booked with them as the preferred caterer for our venue. We had the most incredible in person tasting and chose our menu...and then COVID hit! Jennifer and her team did an incredible job working with us through the process of updating our menu, guest list, and rentals. Our guestlist completely changed, along with our menu by the time the event came around. They take care of everything- linens, dishware, tables, bartender, etc. They made the process easy and low-stress while we were going through a stressful time. We worked with them from March 2020 to September 2021 when we finally had our big party. The day of- the staff was so professional and efficient. They had a lead person that we could go to for any questions or requests. The venue was set up beautifully and our day was more than we could ask for! The best of the BEST. I have had the pleasure of working with ASAR, for the past 5 years as I am the owner of Events by Rebecca and a wedding planner myself! Vanessa and Josh are absolutely the best husband/wife company owning duo out there! Vanessa is a master of the business and Josh is the master in the kitchen and the family feel you get, the instant inclusion into their family is undeniable. This review is reflective of my experience with the owner (and not the food) in May 2020. The company chose not to give me a refund when my event was cancelled due to the pandemic. As a compromise, I asked if they could provide me with the food I paid for and they said no they couldn't because their kitchen was closed. They didn't offer any alternative other than to book with them for a later date. If that's how you're going to treat your customers why would I would I want to book with you again? The great experience really started with our tasting - Vanessa was so accommodating and creative with decor ideas, the food was amazing, and the wine pairing was so appreciated! My family is the most hospitable and generous people you'll ever meet, and this catering company did NOT respectfully do them justice or meet anyone's expectations! All of our guests were raving about the food, and we even had a bunch of leftovers to take home! In addition to the amazing food, ASAR's staff and service are top-notch. Absolutely horrible customer service. Vanessa was rude to myself and several family members throughout our experience with the company . We couldn't get any response from the staff about concerns we had with our wedding menu and when we did get in contact we were talked to aggressively and with an attitude. Vanessa needs to be hidden in the back away from any contact with customers! What an embarrassment to the company! Didn't get a chance to tell ASAR how much we appreciated amidst the whirlwind of our May 28th, 2017 wedding at Taber Ranch. But ASAR was fantastic from the beginning to the end. The hubs and I love good food. We are on the side of adventurous eaters and have pretty difficult palates to please. However, as most brides and grooms know catering for a wedding doesn't come cheap. We had to make some compromises when it came to our wedding and catering became one of them. Initially, we had decided to go with what we thought a cheaper catering company with decent food. But we were so torn as we felt we compromised who we were when it came to our wedding when we worked so hard in many other aspects to make our wedding capture who we were as a couple. We did a tasting with ASAR any way, to see if they could work with our budget and it absolutely blew us away! They had a very comprehensive menu selection for appetizers, entrees, options for dessert bar. Vanessa's presentation during our tasting was incredible. She was informative and helpful bringing up points that we didn't even think of when it came to catering. You could tell, she and her crew at ASAR were seasoned in the business. And the food was sooo delicious. We had the crab cones, ahi tuna on a endive, their seafood pasta with LARGE scallops, salmon, and their ridiculous beef tenderloin. We could tell ASAR had one commonality with us, the love of food and doing it well. Vanessa even gave us a taste of wine during our tasting to go with the meat and it was incredible. I didn't want to admit it then but they pretty much sold me on going with them at that tasting. It was phenomenal. We couldn't be on cloud 9 for too long, we had a budget to stick with. We told them our budget and she worked with us to devise a menu. We decided to go with a buffet style menu. We just loved the idea of people coming together to celebrate with fully and happy stomachs. In the months following, Vanessa, Ryan, Jacquie revised out quotes as numbers changes. diet requirements changes. They were so gracious to accommodate each time. I think I must have revised that quote 9 times, each time they got every detail accurately. When we met with Ryan and Jacquie during our 6 week appointment, they worked so well with our venue Taber Ranch. We know why they are pretty much a preferred vendor for most of the venues in the Sacramento region. They were organized and professional. If you're having a wedding in the Sacramento region, I'm pretty sure they are well versed in that venue. That made a very important point that 1. many venues we looked at recommended ASAR and 2. they knew our venue well to maintain cohesiveness during planning. The day of the wedding, Ryan ran the show with the whole ASAR crew seamlessly. I mean from the table set up, to the carver, the servers, making sure in our busy fury that we were fed and wined. I mean it was absolutely well done. Our guests raved about how great the food tasted, especially that beef tenderloin. My parents, also picky eaters, were a bit skeptical how a buffet would be received at a wedding. But they commented on how delicious the food was and how the seafood pasta was such a winner. I know that a lot of women day dream about their wedding day and think - I want the perfect dress, the perfect décor and the best venue - I thought - HEY! Wouldn't it be nice to go to a wedding and actually love the food you're eating? Who says that all wedding food is bad? I'll tell you what - mine was awesome, thanks to All Seasons, All Reasons (ASAR) catering. When I first inquired about using their services, we set up a time to come in and taste. Here's the thing - they are very busy. It's best if you reach out and book a time to come out there for a tasting as soon as possible. The good news is, it's completely worth the wait. Before even coming in for the tasting, my contact and I worked on the inspiration for my wedding and what I had in mind, and worked on a menu (with price adjustments) - all before the actual tasting. I did this process with other catering companies - but I found that they were harder to work with. ASAR really worked with me on getting the price down to where my budget-nazi groom would feel comfortable paying. Word of Advice - There was only one (albeit major) snag in the planning process. Know exactly when your vendor accepts deliveries - as I had a Sunday wedding and their quote was based on a delivery service that wasn't open on Sunday. Long story short - this greatly affects the pricing, as they try to go with a company with extremely reasonable rates, but if your venue doesn't accept deliveries a day or two before, you're screwed. By screwed, I simply mean - expect to pay more for service-ware. I will say this - even though I felt a bit "Bridezilla-y" when negotiating the price during this fiasco - Vanessa and Nichole were extremely professional and were very responsive to my emails - as well as on-the-phone conversations. They worked with me to bring the price down, and the wedding went off without a hitch! As for the delicious food - I didn't really eat a whole lot (it's true what they say) - but what I did nibble on, in-between greeting our guests was exceptional. They even gave my groom and I appetizer plates before pictures and set an array of food at our sweetheart table. So thoughtful! To give you an idea of what we had, here's a snapshot - [Cocktail Hour] Summer Vegetable Crudité served with Hummus & Apple Horseradish Dip // Baked Brie with Raspberry Compote & Toasted Hazelnuts // Patatas Bravas with Spicy Dipping Sauce [Cocktail Type Reception Dinner] Petite Sandwiches Carving Station: Slow Cooked Rib Eye & Roasted Turkey Breast // Grilled Seasonal Vegetables in Balsamic Dijon Marinade // Italian Kale Salad with a Sweet Poppy Seed Vinaigrette // Oktoberfest Canapés with Grilled Bratwurst, Mild Sauerkraut & Dijon on Dark Rye Crouton // Grilled Tequila-Lime Chicken Skewers [Dessert] Assorted Housemade Hand Pies (Apple, Peach & Pear) HIGHLIGHTS (as stated by our guests): Turkey Sandwiches, Oktoberfest Canapes, Grilled Vegetables and the Chicken Skewers. I did get a chance to eat the rib-eye (so tender) and the canapés - those were my absolute FAVORITES! And the handpies - a great "get-up-and-go" dessert. We wanted to create an atmosphere where people mingle, dance for hours and just have a blast. We definitely achieved this goal - and our caterer was an integral part to executing this plan. They even came out to our 6-week appointment with our vendor to discuss logistics and to get everyone on the same page. Even with the price-adjustment snag, I would happily refer people to ASAR and use them again for any other event I have. I have worked with other caterers that don't put enough food out, but this was not the case for ASAR....we actually had leftovers the next day that they boxed for us (which is wonderful for the Bride and Groom - who don't really get to eat much food). Another thing I loved about ASAR is they actually tried to woo our business. Our tasting night was so fun with Monte. We drank wine and hung out and it was like we were dinning with friends. Catered our wedding for 220 people at a private venue in Granite Bay on 10/19/19. From the first meeting, to the tastings where we got to pick our appetizers and entrees, and on to the eventual big day - perfect from start to finish! I can't tell you how many of our guests raved about the food - and STILL weeks later won't stop talking about that heavenly beef tenderloin! Like seriously I think people are still having dreams about it. They have a wide assortment of choices to pick from, and everything we chose was delicious and abundant - guests definitely did not go home hungry. We had the dinner at my parents' house and ASAR did an awesome job of setting the place up, arranging the food and dishes (beautifully, of course), etc. They were also really fantastic about clean up -- discreetly gathering dishes and stowing them away as people were still milling around. Perhaps the best measure of quality: Everyone knows that catering pasta can be pretty notoriously bad... looking over the buffet, my husband didn't even take any because he just assumed it would be the most mediocre of the various selections. All Seasons were my caterers for my wedding this past October at the Library Galleria. They were excellent and I highly recommend them. At our first meeting/tasting, they were very professional and attentive to ALL the details to make our wedding what we wanted. The food all tasted amazing and they were very accommodating in making any menu changes we requested. Vanessa clearly displays her immense experience and expertise in planning weddings making me feel very assured. The pricing is reasonable. We met with other caterers in the similar price range and we chose All Seasons because the food tasted the best and they seemed to have the experience in putting together a wedding. In the months and weeks leading up the wedding, they were prompt with responding to all my emails and making adjustments to any changes I might need, including head count changes, getting me high chairs for children, etc. . . On my actual wedding, everything went perfect and I received many compliments from our guests as to our caterers. They set things up so nicely for us. I have been to so many weddings where the food is just mediocre, but this food was so good, I wish they would open up a restaurant in Sacramento! I had hired ASAR for my wedding a couple of years ago. I'm just getting time to review them now. I had looked at other food catering companies and by far ASAR had stood out amongst the rest. I had gone to all the tastings for each of my potential wedding caterers, and ASAR was by far the best. I am very picky when it comes to details to my wedding, and when I mean picky, I mean picky! But it's normal for any bride, hey its her special day, every brides gets a pass. (just don't become bridezilla?!) Monty had the patience in answering all my questions regarding about the details of the food down to the linens that I specifically wanted at my wedding. Monty & Vanessa were able to make adjustments and changes when requested in a timely manner. Especially, when it came to my husband, which is a VERY picky eater, and he requested only French fries as his entrée come wedding day! The only complaint I had was that Monty didn't have drink refreshments passed around like he had promised he would do when the family & wedding party pictures were being taken after the wedding ceremony (during cocktail hour). Monty was nice a enough to bring both my husband and myself drinks straight to us at the sweetheart table when all the guests sat down during the reception (which he redeemed himself.) ;0) Although, my strawberry lemonade was a bit diluted? Oh, well, that's what you get for spending to much time with the photographers. ;oP The food was great and formal sit-down set up of the reception was lovely. All my guests were raving about the strawberry lemonade especially my in-laws (which was a plus)! ;o) His servants were very nice and pleasant, they worked fast and cleaned up after all the guest, a little bit too fast though? I had some of my guest mentioned that they cleared away the drinks off the table when guests were still having them after they came back from dancing? :o/ Bonus, at the end of the night Monty packs up a nice late night meal for the bride & groom in case you get hungry. I was just like anyone who puts their money down and crosses their fingers that their caterer will deliver as well as they promise. I had 240 guests at my daughters wedding, and Monte said they could meet my budget and provide great service. To say I am pleased is insufficient. The entire team was professional and timely. The food was as high-quality as they presented during the tasting, and their serving table decorations were awesome. Many guests commented as to how much they liked the food and selection (how often do you hear that?), and all within a reasonable budget. They deliver on their promises - hands down, my favorite vendor from the wedding. And when I have a chance to use them again, I will without even considering anyone else. We engaged All Seasons All Reasons to cater our 50th wedding anniversary. They were easy to work with allowing us to sample our proposed menu and going over in detail our wishes for the party. The did what they promised when they promised it. That is so important to me. The table settings were beautiful. The food was delicious. Everyone enjoyed the food. All Seasons was the third catering company that we had a tasting with and form the moment we met Monty and the rest of the All Seasons Crew (Vanessa) our search was over! They made the planning process easy, fun and exciting! Monty has so many great ideas not just about food and displays but about what you want kind of wedding you dream of having. We had a concept and when Monty got involved it all came together right down to the signature cocktails! Now let's talk about the FOOD! First of all I would never call this "wedding food" the food had everything, it looked amazing, it smelled amazing and the taste was something that four months latter my friends and family are still raving about! I help with the catering for Deacon Constrution, we cater for all our safety meetings ,large in house parties, the food and service have always been top notch. The help that the manager (Vanessa) gives for organizing and creating the menus is painless. When tastings are necessary the whole experience is simple and always tasty. Monty is simply the best! He never misses a beat. He goes out of his way to make sure everything goes better than planned. Not only is his food amazing, but Monty is one of the hardest working caterers I have ever met. For example, on one rainy, rainy night, he switched out a food tent 3 times...appetizers, dinner and then port & cigars. It was raining so hard there was no way the grounds of the venue could be used as planned, so Monty took it upon himself, soaked to the bone, to make sure the wedding went off without a hitch and all the guests were well taken care of. And he did this without anyone in the wedding party knowing what was going on. Amazing! Monty, and Vanessa, are both perfectionists, and if they say something will happen, it will happen...guaranteed. Monty's easy to work with, punctual to a fault, full of great ideas and the consummate professional. I can't say enough positive things about ASAR, words like phenomenal, tremendous, fantastic and outstanding all come to mind and are only accurate if used together. My wife and I met with Monty for the tasting and were so impressed that we made our decision in the parking lot that very day, and I can tell you it was the absolute right decision. The months leading up to the wedding went smoothly, the entire staff was accommodating in every way and a genuine pleasure to work with. On our wedding day the catering crew was not seen nor heard until the Buffet was open and then the magic was reviled to us and our guests. The food was the best catered event I have ever been to, and any restaurant would be hard pressed to turn out food this delicious form an on site kitchen. The care and craftsmanship that went into the dinner for us and our 150 guests was remarkable. It was evident to everybody enjoying the food that only the best ingredients were used and no corners were cut in the preparation. My wedding was a hit for all my guests because of All Seasons. The food was AMAZING. My uncle who is from Las Vegas (thinks he is a food critic and is hard to impress) and frequents their restaurants and buffets said easily this is of the same quality or even better. It was soooo delicious! That was the unanimous decision from all of our guests I spoke too. Vanessa, Nichole, and Ryan were extremely professional and were the reason our dinner ran so smoothly.
