They did also this and answered a bike frame fit question that I have never managed to get a correct answer to. The visit was a win and worth the shop labor and time. The whole family (there are no rapids; I recommend ages 11+) can feel connected to nature and that've had an enjoyable half day laid back kayak excursion in the Adirondacks. I made a kayak trip with my lady with this business, and then I came back again with family. The outfitters and staff are small town friendly.

Normally, I'd just order what I need and have it shipped. Today was something different. Loaded up the family and drove 90 minutes to go to the store in Ithaca. I was surprised that they had a tiny selection of paddling gear. The staff was unfriendly and inattentive at best, and the gentleman at the register had the personality of a wet fart. They expended zero you know whats to even acknowledge a customer. There's plenty of room for improvement. While I'm not done with REI, I'm good if I never go back to this location.
