(Was my 3rd company to call) Out of all 3 estimates, Beto and his brother came out and took the time to go onto roof, inspect, quote and help educate us on all visualized concerns. Not trustworthy - I had them come out to inspect some dampness I saw through one of the fire alarms. They took some photos and indicated the flashing pipes on the roof need to be replaced and quoted $1600. This sounded fishy as our home is less than 5 years old with solid building/materials. I was very worried when they insisted on cash or Zelle. I decided to decline. I got someone else out and after inspection they reassured me that there is nothing wrong with the roof or the flashing pipes. They said that the dampness is due to condensation and nothing to worry about. They even offered to come out on emergency if the situation changes and refused any kind of payment. I'm glad there is such people that remain in this world. read more

REVIEW SHORTENED TO FIT YELP POSTING LIMITS This contractor had great promise, based on reviews and my early interactions. Unfortunately, problems started in the first 5 minutes. I live in a townhouse association with strict material and style requirements for exterior work like cement board siding. He agreed in the contract and by email to follow these specs. Yet the first thing he says onsite is he bought materials from a different supplier than listed in the HOA docs. I told him that was fine but I'd need receipts to confirm they met spec. He became defensive, saying it wasn't possible to show me receipts and questioning my trust--despite my never having worked with him before and him already deviating from the agreed specs. An hour later, he asked me for the paint spec, ironically proving why I shouldn't just take his word. We moved on to confirm the work. I'd signed a second contract with him to replace cement board panels on my neighbor's unit. I'd sent a photo and exact measurements, and he quoted accordingly. Onsite, he claimed it was far more work than expected, refused to complete it, and wouldn't even give me a revised quote. He said he thought it was 2.5 panels, though I'd clearly stated 4. He even misattributed work between the two contracts, implying I was cheating him when nothing had changed. He reluctantly agreed to complete both. Midday he again said he wouldn't do the second contract. Same the next morning. I insisted he fulfill it. After day one, I inspected his work and found he was already ignoring specs, using the wrong style screws. He claimed my preferred screws weren't available, but I quickly found them in multiple local stores. He later apologized for his behavior over the last day and a half, saying he was bringing baggage from a previous client. I accepted his apology, albeit reluctantly hoping the issues would be over but they weren't. When it came to caulking, he showed me what he'd bought "specifically for my project" but recommended a different type. I reminded him HOA rules required the spec'd product. He urged me to get his preferred one approved, in under 30 minutes. Reviewing his "project-specific" caulk, I found it didn't meet specs either and had a totally different composition, meaning a much shorter lifespan. I sent him the correct spec again; he complained but eventually got it. He also complained constantly about neighbors asking him to move his van (which he didn't park where I told him). He accused them of racism against him and his Latino crew (completely unfounded), as they were just enforcing parking rules. On the last day, he repeated this after a neighbor collected a package for someone on vacation, which he knew about because it was the neighbor's unit he was working on. At the end of day three, final inspection was another nightmare. Cement boards were installed well, but caulking and painting were sloppy: smeared, globbed, painted before drying, streaky, with obvious roller vs. brush marks. Only one coat of paint was applied; he refused a second, claiming the contract didn't specify it even though it's industry standard. When I asked what he'd charge for the second coat, he demanded $1,500, 1/5 of the project cost, for a 3-4 hour job! At that point I sent him packing. He's lucky I paid in full; the paint and caulking were poor, and I later learned he'd broken my neighbor's A/C, costing over $1,000 to fix. Overall, I'm extremely disappointed. He initially had great communication, provided proper licensing, and offered a fair price, but the job was a train wreck. Most surprising was that he destroyed this relationship knowing I had two more neighbors ready to hire him, and that our 56-unit complex has constant work opportunities. Even if he lost money here due to his poor scoping, he could have made much more long term. Now, I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. Such a shame. read more

We recently had our building roof and garage roof replaced by All Seasons, and it was an excellent experience. Humberto ensured everything went smoothly and kept us informed throughout the process. Our building is over 100 years old. There were some masonry issues that needed fixes, and they were able to provide the repairs at a competitive price. That attention to detail made a huge difference. We obtained several quotes before we began the project. All Seasons provided a very straightforward quote. The work was scoped out well. We needed extra tuckpointing and masonry rebuild work due to some of the conditions that were uncovered after the roof tear off. Humberto was very clear throughout th process and gave us a few options to accommodate budgetary concerns. The emphasis from Humberto was always about repairing things the right way to avoid future issues. We greatly appreciated his communication and openness throughout the project. We highly recommend All Seasons Construction. We will definitely be using them for future projects. They are also capable at doing a variety of tasks - masonry, carpentry, gutter repair/replacement. My small home office room on the top floor start leaking water from the ceiling during a heavy Chicago rainy morning back in Sep, and it soon reaped open a crack on my ceiling drywall. I reached out to about 10 places on Yelp for a roof exam and repair. They either had to wait a few days after the rain before coming out, or asked for a hefty upfront fee(a few thousand bucks) for emergency service without even looking at it, quoting another coming rainy day. Then came the all-seasons roofing and construction to save the day. Humberto offered to come out shortly to check the roof and give me a proper estimation for whatever it takes to repair, and get the job done on site if I wish to proceed. His team showed up on time early afternoon and checked my roof. They told me it was actually in a very good condition, but the region around the chimney lacked proper sealing and has some weared asphalt tile around it. That's likely the cause of the leak. They quoted me a really reasonable price, much less than the emergency service fees asked by some other firms, and was able to replace the whole region around the chimney, apply a proper sealing and even replaced the fractured joint piece of the chimney top once they saw it after removing the old asphalt tile. They showed me the old torm pieces and even I could tell what has happened from there. We were lucky that the rained had stopped in the afternoon. Everything was taken care of before the kids pickup time and i was finally rest assured without worrying about the coming rainy day. No more leaking has ever happened after the roof repair. I still waited a few more weeks to write this review after the internal ceiling repair was done. The ceiling repair workers were able to confirm that everything looked nice and dry between the roof and ceiling dry wall. So the roof repair was really a great job that saved my little office space. I am extremely appreciative of Humberto's quick response, willingness to help clients, the reasonable and honest business practice, and the great work quality. Under the situation I would have been easily talked into a much larger roof replacement project and spent 10 times more by some other guys I talked to. I would highly recommend this team to anyone with a roof job. read more
