He says first thing tomorrow morning (Friday) since I am out of his normal service range and he would leave early to be here at around 8AM for me. So I call into work for half a day, 8 AM, no show, no call, no text, no update. Wait until 10:30, still nothing. I try to call, text, no response. I call my warranty place, they call him, he answers and says he is headed that way right now, his service is less than an hour from my house. So I wait until 2:30 PM - still no show. So I call the warranty place again. They can't get ahold of him, so they cancel his service and are going to find me a new contractor. Not even 20 minutes after that, he calls me for the first time himself (every other time I had to call) and asked why I canceled. I had to miss an entire days work, and going on over an entire week without AC. 3 different days he said he would be here. Every day, no call, no show. Never even a sorry or apologies. It takes 30 seconds to send a text or call and say something came up just running behind. I am a union trade worker, and this makes us all look incompetent, unprofessional, and unreliable. It took them 6 weeks - after taking 1 week to come to the house, 2 weeks to order the breaker (only to find out they order the wrong breaker), another 2 weeks to order the breaker (which the "technician" told us he ended up getting from Menards) and then an additional week to come out. This is all during the winter months where hot tubs cannot be without power. On their last visit out, they found a blown fuse in the hot tub (likely from the faulty breakers) and wanted to charge for replacing it, which we declined because the hot tub is under warranty. All in all, the communication, responsiveness, timeliness, customer service, and professionalism of the workers was poor.

I called after-hours, thinking I'd get voicemail and leave a message and wait for a call back, but to my surprise, someone picked up who, despite it being late, took my call politely and professionally. He asked me to text details so he could send someone out the next day, so I did. Then, first thing the next morning, I get a call that someone is on their way. I also needed some wiring fixed in another room, so I asked about that, and it was taken care of on the same visit. After a total of just an hour and a half, both things were completed and at a very reasonable price. I have a few other things on my list to take care of at some point in the future, and I'll definitely be calling these folks back.
