Right away, I was greeted with a great smile. The lady at the front desk was clearly busy, but that didn't stop her from being attentive and friendly. Lovely welcome desk. As soon as I'm called back, I'm greeted by another friendly smile ( I believe "Maria"), and she tells me that she will be the one taking care of my X-Rays and photos. She was eager to chat, and even gave me some really interesting insight into their new camera system. Another lovely person. I'm then greeted by the lady who will be doing my cleaning, as well as Dr. Amethyst Schlecht. Dr. Amethyst Schlecht is very well spoken and engaging. She had a knowledgeable answer for every question, and never made me feel uncomfortable. Her inspection was quick but thorough, and I walked away feeling like the visit was comprehensive. The female dentist who did my cleaning (I'm bad with names, sorry!) was extremely friendly and equally as knowledgeable. I hadn't been to the dentist in years, so she really needed to put some work into the cleaning. However, she managed to keep it comfortable and basically pain free--other than the usual tugging and poking that is necessary. I think my favorite part was how everyone seemed super happy and eager to share knowledge with me. Every question was met with an answer. I felt like I was talking to enthusiasts, not just bored people at a job they never wanted. Perfect first time experience. Looking forward to coming back in 6 months! Cheers

Crowns and implants perfectly conform to the gumline, adjacent teeth and bite. Visually, they are indistinguishable from my natural teeth. I thought…read moreif you study a speciality beyond just general dentistry then the expectation is you should know what you're doing but the dentist made me feel very uncomfortable by appearing unsure of if he'd be able to complete a root canal which made me unsure if I want an unsure questionable root canal not provided with more confidence. Also, I'm not a doctor but I am a LMFT who's worked in the psych world for 20 years. Because of the meds I take, that I'm aware of a low to no risk of a negative drug interaction and quite frankly, I'm prescribed by my prior general dentists to minimize my anxiety about going to the dentist...and then a specialist who first said he would prescribe something and I could come back the next day except he than felt uncomfortable prescribing because of what I take. The endodontist I ultimately went with who I've seen in the past who is out of network (so I paid a lot more) was accommodating and confident. He did prescribe the medication and I asked are there any negative interactions between my meds and what he was giving me and he said exactly what I said to the geer endodontist which was there is no worry as the meds fall under different drug classes that are often prescribed together as a combination because they do not counteract each other. So, the uncertainty and someone who's uncomfortable prescribing a medication he initially said he would then wouldn't because he doesn't have licenses and certifications to do so or just doesn't understand the low to no risk for contraindications according to medicinal guidelines should be categorized as not a specialist in my opinion. I'd give 1 star but Jessica deserves an added star.

I actually dozed off while he was working on my tooth, no pain at all. If I could give him 10 stars I would. Such a nice office. I will definitely recommend this office to family and friends.
