I remember for my grandpa funeral a long long time ago there was a manager name Tracy who was really good and was super helpful during the process. Since Tracy has been gone the quality is declining and now the business is just gear toward money making. The interior is old but clean. The viewing room is very spacious. When it time to leave and drive to the cemetery the funeral home doesn't have placard card to put into people car in case you get a ticket from going past a red light. All in all, if I had a choice I wouldn't use this funeral home but it the only one in the area that is close to the all soul cemetery.

After a disastrous experience with…read moreanother funeral home, we found Mr. Barber and his family to be compassionate and caring, clearly in the business of meeting the needs of grieving families. We had our Mom moved from the other funeral home to Barber because they expressed concern for what we were going through and for what we wanted for our Mom's service. While other funeral homes had said no to our simple request for a specific viewing time, the Barber Funeral Home said, "No problem." Each of the family members was kind and responsive as well as knowledgeable. When we needed someone to contact an out-of-state newspaper to confirm our Mom's death for an obituary, Mrs. Barber, took the phone number and called them immediately. The funeral home itself is a lovely old home that we found very comforting...especially when we were told that they believe "each family should have their own private time to grieve for their loved one" so they don't book more than one viewing or funeral at a time. The entire funeral home was available for us and our guests who came to honor our Mom. As professional and knowledgeable as the Barbers are, it was their personal compassion expressed to us that was unique and precious to us. A sign in the home says they are "proudly family owned and operated". The Barber family has much to be proud of!
