I was sent here from the Aurora location, which needs to train the staff here, at this location…read more*eye roll* I came in for an ultrasound, and the tech was VERY unpleasant! My visit was today 7-19-24 at 605pm. If I hadn't had to go to the emergency room, the review would've been written right in their parking lot. I walked in at 555pm. My appt per the Aurora location was for 6 pm. There were 2 people at the front, neither assisted or spoke until I stepped around a couple who had already been seen and were receiving aftercare instructions. I gave them my name and advised that I was sent over from Aurora they said my appt was for 630, ummm no, it was for 6. They said I had to wait. 605 comes, and this lady calls my name with an attitude and takes me back. So why were you sent here for an ultrasound, she asks? Because I'm in pain and need further testing.. I explained the tests that were completed, and she states no, that's not why she said you needed an ultrasound *BLANKSTARE* So if you know why I need 1 WHY ARE YOU ASKING ME??? DO THE ******* ultrasound and stop wasting my time! She continued to ask things that should've been charted. I'm so irritated she asks me is everything ok? I'm not trying to upset you. I'd like to make this right in a snide way. She completes the 2 ultrasounds. No info on follow up care just call Aurora for info. I called Aurora and they're in shock that they didn't provide the qr code to look up my results or provide the aftercare instructions. I ended up in the ER a few hours later. Thankfully, Aurora followed up so that I could be treated properly. The tech Cynthia Avila was rude, abrasive, and condescending, to say the very least! I wouldn't recommend this location.

Dr T is by far the best Doctor I have ever gone to....have referred many and a lot of my friends go…read moreto him as well.... Exceptional bedside manner...jovial....but very very informative.... Spends 30 mins on average with me each time.... Staff is excellent...

Okay, so you're looking for a doctor in the western suburbs....look no further - Call Dr…read more Talbert--is a family practice doctor with a wicked sense of humor and a heart made of gold...though he wouldn't let on... He has been my primary care physician for the past 20 years or so. So yes, I've had him through pediatrics, redolence and now my late 20's. Funny enough when I lost my job, he offered me a temp receptionist position till i got back on my feet. His number one concern is your health NOT your health insurance. He takes the time to listen to you and whatever issues you feel you are having. He also is very candid about what he thinks is the best course of treatment for you. When it comes to billing, if you have no insurance he works on a payment plan with you and he tries his best if he needs to prescribe to you, generics and many times he'll hook you up with samples he receives. His office hours are Mondays 9-5 Tuesdays 2-8 Thursdays 10:00 - 3:30 Fridays 9-3 and Saturday by appt only. His receptionist Jenny is super sweet and he has a part time MA and a part time nurse who happens to be his sweet wife :) My only advice to you is; when you go, take something to do--book, ipod, something. Because he listens and explains things thoroughly--he has a tendency to run late. Though if you have an emergency just go straight to the office and they'll fit you in. Good Health to you!

I have never never been so intimidated or felt harassed by the staff at Northwestern memorial…read more ER. tonight. My sister by another mother was taken from Tavern on Rush and admitted into the ER. I inquired about her at the front desk. the white girl at the desk in et was rude condescending as I explained the situation and said I didn't understand the process and was trying to. This attitudes by her was awful and quite rude for a hospital staff member She then told she had not been processed nor had she been admitted or registered in yet but to please wait that was at 9:30 PM. !!there was a second person who was black and very kind trying to answer my questions while she continues to interrupt her and act like she knows more then everyone rolling her eyes. but the white girl who would not let me go back and see her told me there can only be certain visitors. The physicians assistant called on my phone told me to get a visitors pink pass and I could back. This nasty girl yea girl if 22-25 brown hair 5'5 told when I said Howe's the last. Who said this, she called you, "we'll hang on" she came back and said nope you can't go back. The nice nurse or cna Becca came out to speak to me. How a hospital could allow anyone to act this way is beyond me. She was condescending and rude making me feel like I was doing something wrong. She than pushed her chair back and ran in the through the doors in what appeared to me to speak to someone about me visiting her .When I came back she told me I could not go back and see her. She was intimidating and acted like she ruled the roost.. disgusting for an RN, CNA or any hospital staff member . whoever. I come from Adventist in Hinsdale and can't imagine anyone acting like this in regards to patient care patients no matter what the sociological economic status of patients or family members inquiring is. The physicians assistant Becca or RN as I did not see her badge was kind considerate came out and explained and tried to a praise me of what was going on and why I could not see my her. She further explained it was because we had come in together from Tavern on Rush where she was picked up in the ER vehicle. She then said if we did let her go with you how would she get home. I explained what the process would be. The front desk person who was so disrespectful and literally holier than thou ran back in the back to speak with Becca who was kind when I asked again can I go see her she said just a minute. However after the front desk staff meme we made sure I could not go back for whatever reason she deemed was her right not mine to play god. Never explaining but with a total lack of disregard to a person. Is that how a hospital is run and that is accepted behavior. DISGUSTING TO BE ALLOWED!! We are now well into 2 hours of me inquiring and none the more informative. It is about 11 and I am still trying to figure out how I can see my her in the back and what's going on. Again Becca comes out explains that they would release her to someone else that did not come in from Tavern on Rush because we were together at there and they were not allowed to release to someone who is with her at there. Wow news to me on this point but ok. Not wanting to make waves nor have I made any I again went to the waiting room and waited. When I asked can I see her please, what's going on?? The same staff member who I will call the little Missy girl told me there were five people who inquired about her and are here. I said what there is only me here there are not 5 people. She then looked at me like I was stupid and said "Yes there are 5 people who have inquired, then the security guard also got snippy like I was stupid or on something. Hmmm Like I didn't follow the ambulance in and ask her questions - no one else was there. Now if her son called ok so say that don't be rude and snippy when a person is inquiring on the admitted!!! What is up with the intimidation of her and the security guard when I inquired. What 5 people I came here with the patient. There is no need to strong or intimidate a person asking questions of care. There is no reason for this type of behavior from either one of them when a simple question has been asked. When the CNA or whatever Becca was came over speaking to me . The rude Missy girl left her post from the front desk of the emergency room to run over and say what's going on what did she want. What is this you told her WOW how is this person employed there
