Not sure where to start, pricing was not transparent at all! Was told $129.95 for my carpet cleaning, which I told them I had a dog that got sick and had bloody which they said, no problem. Was told that pet odor removal was a 'nominal' fee. Why not say, up front that the fee is an additional $40 per room? So, for 4 rooms, the nominal fee was more than the entire cleaning. what started out as $129.95 ended up costing $290!! Also did the upholstery special for $179.95 and it took forever for it to dry. Most stains remain. I called to discuss all of this with Miranda and all she kept saying was 'ok,ok,ok.'. When I questioned the 'nominal' fee of $40 per room, she said they have to pay $100 per gallon for the odor removal. Then said so, do you want them to come back out and redo the furniture?' I said no because if it didn't work the first time, why do it again! I was going to let all this go but, here we are 2 days later and I opened the bedroom door where the dog had gotten sick and all the spots are showing back up! The door had been closed with the ceiling fan running since it was cleaned. No foot traffic or animal. And the pet odor still lingers. So, $506.66 later, I still have odor and stains! read more

They did an amazing job! First, I had an appt for Thursday but last min needed rescheduled to Wednesday and they worked it out to accommodate! Second, we had stains from previous owners cat on our carpet. When we moved in I had the carpets cleaned by another company and was told those stains would never come out, All Star was able to get them out. Our carpet looks brand new and amazing! read more

i paid to have my carpets steame cleaned. the job was horribly done. on top of the sorry job, the cleaner (john) injected himself into the situation and went to the apartment office and addressed the problem. this was not his job and he had no business doing this. the apartments didn't hire him ; i did. i was extremely dissatisfied, not only with the job, but with the interferrence and the outcome. the carpet was in worse shape when he left than when he arrived. i would never recommend this company for anything. im sorry that i ever considered them. read more

The product is good and the service is fast. The experience is a little off. We hired them in April to do a cleaning for four bedrooms, a landing, and set of stairs. Total price was $144.62, which was great, even though they got here an hour after the time window they quoted. The selling feature for us was that they would do repeat treatments for discounts ($29 trip charge, plus $10 a room). Hired again for today and they're an hour late again, and they swiped the card without telling me the price, but it was $144.62. I called to ask why it was the same price again, and they said they didn't do a pet treatment last time - except we asked them to do it and they told us they did (we did the house special for $129 which said no size limit to rooms, free spot removal, free deoderization, and pet stains included). Then they said they did the pet treatment last time, but just didn't charge us for it. So I asked how much that was and they said $40. So we end up with trip - $30, four rooms - $40, landing and stairs - $20, and a pet treatment - $40. I would have been happier had they told me upfront they were going to charge me a random fee. Just throwing it in there feels underhanded. All in all, the carpet is cleaner, yes. The experience and transparency of pricing leaves a lot to be desired. read more

I must say that long ago I used this company to clean my whole house, but I made the mistake and forgot who did my last carpet clean a year and a half later. I went with another company because I thought all carpet companies were the same, boy was I wrong. All Star is fast, efficient and very respectful to your home environment. John and his beautiful wife was professional and informative on how best to maintain our carpet. I wish that I had listed to them the last time they serviced my home. With that being said, you wont find a better company out there if you tried. We are team All Star from now on at least twice a year. read more

Called and spoke to them twice over the phone regarding a quote for our company's carpets to be cleaned. Even asked if they would send someone out to look and quote (like the other companies I had received quotes from did!). They said it wasn't necessary. Scheduled a cleaning because they were the cheapest and when they sent the technician out tried to upsale us. They claimed there were urine stains on the carpet at our business. The stains were not urine and maybe the size of a dollar bill when all 3 were combined. They wanted to charge us $150 just to treat these 3 small spots. The owner of this company made the technician leave without cleaning like was scheduled and based on the quote provided to us. Horrible service! read more

We've been using All Star for years and have always been impressed with their work. They are family owned and really take time to make sure the job is done right. If a problem ever arises, they are always quick to make a trip back out to fix it with no extra charge. They make sure its done right every time. I don't know what these other people were talking about. We love All Star. read more

This company delivers much less then their website implies. I bought a Groupon and when I called to make the appointment, I asked questions so I would know what to expect. I kept getting "because your using a groupon, we don't do that" over and over again. The technician said the same thing when he showed up and wouldn't begin cleaning until I paid him another $65 on top of the groupon to add a solvant. Said he could not get the rug clean with only hot water. I told him I knew the rug was old and dirty, just do the best he could, I wasn't expecting it to look brand new. He kept refusing so I gave him an additional $65. Then he spent less then 5 min on each room and left me with stains and pet smell still in tact. If he had done that kind of a job for the price of the Groupon I would be much less dissatisfied. As it is I feel completely ripped off! read more

Would not honor price on Living Social voucher for three rooms - said it be another $60 for spot cleaning and deodorizing. Said I didn't want that and she said read the fine print it is was required. It was not required, very clear in the fine print. She said they would not come out and to take it up with Living Social for a refund. I called Living Social and they were horrified - said the fine print clearly does not state what the company claimed. Got my refund - stay away from this company! read more

I had an appointment with this company today to get my carpets cleaned and was totally dumbfounded by the treatment of their employee. RUDE!!!!!!! I have never experienced such a rude and disrespectful person in my life. We purchased an amazon groupon with for $55 and when they came out they said I had to pay another $70 for shampoo which was suppose to be included in the cost of the groupon. That puts the total OVER their advertised $99 5 room special!!!!! The guy wouldn't even talk to me. He said if I wouldn't pay extra he won't do the service the walked out and slammed my door leaving his female partner in my house looking stunned. When she saw him get in the truck she ran after him. I was frustrated regarding the details of a Living Social coupon I purchased. The owner of All Star contacted me, came to my house the next morning and cleaned all of our carpet for no charge. The carpet looks wonderful, the customer service was great, and the professionalism to make their customers happy really goes above and beyond! I will use them for years and years. read more

This company is great! I find it funny that all the people complaining are Groupon/living social so you are probably so focused on your "good deal" that you aren't noticing what a great job they do. We had our all white carpet cleaned a couple months back. The heavier stains have began to rise again as expected but not as bad as before and the rest of our carpet seems to be thriving. My husband had to leave town for an emergency so I prayed that a person with professional qualities would show up because i did not want to continue postponing our cleaning. John(I believe was his name) showed up he was very professional and dilligent. Along the process of cleaning our carpet he educated me of better ways to maintain our carpet. He did a great job! I paid them $305 to clean a small 1,000 sq ft 3 bedroom house with a small patch. It was way too high for the 45 minutes they were there but they did a good enough job that I wouldn't have complained. I just would not have used them again because of the high price. My huge complaint comes after paying them $250 additional to take a rug from my home to professionally bathe it. I was told this would consist of soaking the rug in a bath, cleaning it and then hanging it to dry. They said they repeat this process 3 times. When they brought the rug back after 2 weeks it was rolled and wrapped in plastic. My husband unrolled it when he got home. We picked up 3 bobby pins off the top of the rug, a plastic clothes tag hook, several june bugs that were still alive and several small bits of trash. The rug had definitely not had a single "bath" let alone 3. Possibly a steam cleaner used on it but that I could have done myself. I wish I had seen the earlier review before calling. read more
