Absolutely worst customer service I've ever encountered. They have lied over and over. I am so disgusted with All Star Chevrolet on Airline Hwy. in Baton Rouge. I sold them my late husband's late model truck almost 3 weeks ago, 4/16, and am STILL waiting for my money! They told me I'd have a check by Monday or Tuesday at the latest. No check. Then they told my son they'd deliver a check to my house on Thursday, 4/29. Waited all day, no check. He called again, manager PROMISED it would be hand delivered Friday. Well, they stuck it in my mailbox sometime that stormy Friday afternoon- where it got wet, but IT WAS FOR THE WRONG AMOUNT!!! They shorted me $500!!! My son called again. They promised they'd send the rest Monday. Nope, didn't happen. But they're going to deliver it here tomorrow, 5/6, for sure, they say. I spent the last two days following up with this dealership in hopes of buying a 2023 Porsche Taycan. I received car fax and attempted to obtain the out the door price a number of times. I advised that I had approval and just needed the out the door price. I initially received email from Taylor Franklin. I called the emailed a number of times as well as called and received no call back. On Friday I called like I was a new customer inquiring about the vehicle. I talked to Rhett. He advised he would email the out the door price. After not receiving it for 30 minutes I texted back a number of times to make sure he had the right email. That was at 12 pm today. TERRIBLE customer service, they lied from the second we pulled off the lot with the car. We had issues with the vehicle 2 days after we bought it so we went to bring it back to them to fix it and they left the inside full of dirty, we are missing a button near the shift and they did not honor the I OWE YOU paper they gave us to fix paint chips. They kept our car for 2 weeks. They do not return phone calls, they do not answer the phone, and they do not text us back. I bought a 2025 kia k5 there and will NEVER buy anything else from them. TLDR; They basically tell you to f*** off and get out of here. Avoid this place like convenience store sushi. More like No Star. This place is a joke and the source of the worst dealer interaction I've ever experienced. Had a car with a check engine light come on over a weekend. First in line Monday morning at the service bays. They refused to look at the car. No appointment? Too bad, can't help you. Mechanical problem? No techs, too bad, can't help you. Plug in a scanner to tell us the severity of the issue? No, too bad, can't help you. All of this with ONE other car in the service area. They did tell us we could to go to any GM dealer, but we're from out of town and not familiar with the area. Who do you suggest? "I can't tell you where to go". So not only are they not willing to get off their backside to do actual work, they won't even try to assist with information. Another dealership in town had our issue diagnosed within 3 hours and resolved perfectly. I guess you have to go to Florida to get Chevy service in Baton Rouge. I purchased a Brand New Chevrolet Silverado truck from here, I even purchased the extended warranty (Never Do This). I had the truck only about 3 month's when the window would not let up. I called them explaining my situation, thinking that I had purchased an extended warranty and had a window I couldn't let up and they would try and get me in, but no they said it would be 2 weeks before they could get me in. So what am I supposed to do with a brand new truck with a window that want close. I ended up having to take the door panel off and fix it myself. If I had to point to one car dealership in the world and say "here's how I want a dealership to work," it would be All Star Chevrolet. Their service department goes above and beyond. Not only are their prices reasonable, but the entire service experience is unlike anything I've ever experienced, and that includes luxury dealerships for the Porsche and Mercedes Benz I owned. When I pull up my truck is immediately checked in, photos of the vehicle are taken to document its condition at drop-off, and I'm offered a shuttle to wherever I'd like to go (if I'm not waiting for my service). Their staff keep me up-to-date on whatever is being done to my truck. And in the case where they quoted me an incorrect lower price, they honored that price at loss to themselves. My next vehicle will unquestionably be bought at this dealership; they've more than earned my business. read more

These guys worked their tails off to get me the car I wanted. There was nothing in stock for hundreds of miles with the leather interior color I was looking for, and believe me, I looked. I called dealerships across the state and and beyond. The folks at All Star, namely Jude, went above and beyond and found one up North. I was promised the car in 2 weeks or less and was given a beautiful loaner - brand new red Tahoe that our family affectionately named "Big Red". Unfortunately the train carrying my new car derailed - yep, that's what I said - and my vehicle, among others, was badly damaged. They didn't give up. They found another that had the light gray interior I wanted but it had cloth. They had it picked up as soon as they could from a far away dealership and ordered light gray leather that would be added when the car arrived. I kept Big Red for another 2 weeks and finally picked up my new car yesterday. The leather on one of the headrests was split along a seam, but I was able to stop at the leather shop that installed the leather and have the hole stitched up on my way home from Baton Rouge. I have to give props to Tiger, a sales associate that helped me out when Jude had to leave due to a family emergency. He took care of the last minute details and did a great job. Financing was also a breeze. Robert McNabb handled the paperwork and the process was fairly painless. The wait was tough, but I got the interior I wanted and they were very accommodating in order to make the deal. read more

With everything going on in this world and everything going up I don't know why they think charging someone $395 is reasonable to look at someone car to see what's wrong or if they can fix. If I could give a negative rating then I would. I purchased a car from this dealership and decided that I didn't want the vehicle after I got home. I went to return the vehicle to the dealership and they called the police on me after I wanted my money back from the purchase. I put a down payment of $8200.00 to offset some of the financing. I called the lender that I was financed through and told them that I would be returning the vehicle and to cancel the financing. They told me that was well within my right being that they had not completed the funding of the deal. Everyone over there showed me terrible customer service. Ive even had to get a lawyer to fight this matter. A lawyer in that particular law office has said they have had to handle numerous of cases against this dealership for this matter. I was in an accident on December 7, 2021, someone rear-ended me. Because the accident wasn't my fault, their insurance was paying for the repairs and I had to use All Star Collison Center because they were a "preferred" collision center. Not only did it take about a month to get parts, which I understand that wasn't their control, but after they finally received the parts needed, it still took 2 more months to get my car back. Every time I called them for an update they told me a different answer. First thing is that they never called me to update me on the progress, I always had to call them to get an update. Secondly every time I did call, the story changed. First they told me it was in body and then paint and it would be ready the following week. When I called the next week, they told me that it was in assembly and waiting on glass and it was going to be early next week. After not hearing anything on Monday, I called Tuesday and was told that it was still in assembly and it would be done by the end of the week. On Friday afternoon when I called, they said that it was going to go into next week because they weren't satisfied with the paint color so it needed to be painted again. This continued on from February 8th until I finally received my car on March 8th. Their process of my car completion makes no sense, why would my car be assembled and waiting on glass to being taken apart again and now going back to paint. According to everything they told me, my car was painted 3 times and when I picked it up, the paint job was horrible. I have runs and trash that in the paint. Not to mention my liftgate isn't level. I didn't have that much damage to my car, it could have been repaired and first that is what they said they were doing, but then all the sudden they had to buy all new parts for it. Don't spend your money here because they don't want it. Absolute crap customer service and honestly bad business practice! My husband reached out inquiring about a vehicle and was contacted by a salesperson, Brianna, he told her which vehicle he wanted and sent over his information and application. She said she would send it to financing and then she disappeared. We called and text numerous times. No response. Called the dealership multiple times. No response from Brianna or from the finance manager. Over a week has gone past and we decided to text the number on the ad of the vehicle we wanted and still no response. When my husband text again Wednesday, 9days later a different salesperson replied saying they lost his application and for him to submit it again. Now here we are 11 days later and no one replied or called back. Absolutely ridiculous. Clearly you don't want to make sales. I would never give my money to a company with such bad customer service. When I went to get my next oil change at another dealership in New Orleans they found the wrong oil plug in the drain, which stripped the oil pan. So $500 repair later I am stuck with a bill they will not reimburse as they said "they did not get a chance to fix the problem" which is utterly ridiculous. I could not drive off the lot without repair. A Chevy dealership should back up their service. I understand mistakes happen but fix your mistake! Avoid this place at all costs. I have been here a couple times and the service was fantastic. I do feel like i got hosed but it was partially my fault being uneducated. Regardless, I think they did a good job and when they messed up they put me in a rental and made sure I was taken care of. You have to understand cars are complex and sometimes it's hard to fix one problem when that problem was caused by another that is not immediately detected. I ended up not purchasing the vehicle due to the customer service i received from the financing manager and sales manager at Allstar Chevrolet. Do you know they deposited my check and refused to give me my money back. Now i have to hire an attorney just to get my money back. Where do I begin?! Well, a month plus ago our truck was brought into the shop All Star Chevrolet on airline and sherwood. The same place were have taken it for oil changes etc. Well May 18, 2021 in a head rain/flood the truck floor got wet not heavily wet, but it did begin to smell. Well after our starefarm estimate we took the truck to the shit for the needed repairs/replacement on a Saturday Morning. We were told Raine(unsure of the correct spelling) would be the contact person. A week and a half pass by and we have not heard anything so I decided to call for an update. Well I was told by "raine" that she submitted info to StateFarm and now they are requesting pictures of the info. A I then asked when would those pictures be submitted to the insurance company. Her excuse was they are overwhelmed with vehicles flood and not flooded services cars and normally that it is the insurance company jobs to come out at take the needed pictures etc. Well being I has no problem calling them to see what the deal is I informed her of that and did just that. I called statefarm Well come to find out since covid the repair shops are aware of them not coming out etc At this point, I felt this was a bunch of excuses from the service side. We paid at the time 20 percent daily for the rental which is now up and the TOTAL cost daily is on us. I will get back to this. I called back to speak with raine after the rep from SF contacted them and ask her to document what she is saying the issues are etc. I spoke back with her asking when would she be getting these photos etc to SF she informed me in a day or two at that point. Well, I waited yet again after I called a few days prior and was told to leave a message and that she would return my call. Let's just say I am still waiting on that return call and another I spoke back with statefarm at this point and was inform they were still waiting on images since the 17th of June. At this point it was June 30th I believe. The service rep and statefarm are reminded by me everytime I speak with them that we are paying daily 20percent and that the max is near. Well the sales rep still failed to send the needed info as she informed me the previous Friday she would by that evening. Did not happen at all. Statefarm then calls us to see if we can get an update or them to send the needed info because they were to being given the run around. I called and spoke with the said office manager Ryan who brought raine into his office while I was on the phone. And I was lied to once again being told that raine submitted the pictures to SF and of course they were not, because I have just got off the phone with them. I again explained to them that the holdup they are causing will cost us only being the max rental was up July 1. Yes now we are paying daily rental cost because of all star Chevrolet. Mind you we LOST EVERYTHING IN THIS SAME SAID FLOOD. The pictures were finally sent after I conferenced in SF BECAUSE I was tired of the back and forth. Still no communication from All Star but SF did inform me that alittle bit after that conference call they FINALLY got the needed pictures etc to approved the repairs 6.30. I called today for an update and was told the parts should be in tomorrow of Wednesday morning and the truck should be done by this Friday. After a month plus of horrible customer service, communication, excuses etc my hopes are not very high. All star should take care of these full rental days being they dropped the ball. If the work much for the service people to handle or they feel over worked the customers should not be the ones to pay for it. I'm sure I have left some important stuff out because it lacked so much communication from All Star Chevrolet. After having my vehicle for nearly 2 weeks Adam Chappuis called me to tell me they could not service my vehicle due to only having only 1 transmission guy on staff, even though they had originally told me the vehicle would be ready for the end of the week. He told me I needed to take my vehicle elsewhere and turn in my rental immediately, leaving my wife without a means of transportation. He then relocated my vehicle to another dealer without my authorization. Adam Chappuis was completely rude and unhelpful. He repeatedly told me the vehicle wasn't his problem to take it back where I bought it, which was 3 hours away, even though vehicle was still under GM"s warranty. If you want to be treated with respect and have your vehicle repaired in a timely fashion, I strongly suggest taking your vehicle elsewhere. So I bring this issue public. This horrible dealership tells me "After speaking with our sales manager we are unable to provide any further assistance". This dealership is so bad they are trying to make it seem as they have given me some sort of assistance. This dealership has given me zero assistant in any way shape or form. I also had a flag on my license which I had to pay for for lapse of insurance. All because of the time that it set on their lot while paperwork was trying to be fixed three different times. They also refused to help me with that. I would highly advise to never do business with this company. It's simply a mistake that could have been fixed very easily.
