The company I dealt with was called Collision Works of Baton Rouge so I think Southern collision may be their old name. Tiffany from Collision works was assigned to my case. I was rear-ended and my Tiguan was moderately damaged. Tiffany was very knowledgeable, patient with all of my questions, and kept me updated with the progress of the repairs. this place is a big joke especially christine. i brought my car to you all because i was told that you all did good work and that was a lie. once my car was repaired, i noticed that there was a rear traffic alert/blind spot montior error on my vehicle. this feature was working before i brought my car to you all and now it is not working. i explained the situation to christine and she said she would get right on it and have the calibration guy look at it. i told her that this was not a calibration issue because i looked up the error online and told her what it said and she basically told me that i was ignorant, lieing, and did not know what i was talking about. nevertheless i still brought my car back to you all, she told me that same bs, that there was a problem with my passenger side mirror and that was the reason why i was getting that error. below you will see what it says onlne about the error: if your vw atlas is displaying an "error rear traffic alert/blind spot monitor" message, it likely means the system's radar sensors located in the rear bumper are malfunctioning, potentially due to dirt, debris, damage, or a wiring issue, preventing the system from accurately detecting vehicles in your blind spot or when reversing. what to do: check for obstructions: inspect the rear bumper area for any dirt, snow, ice, or debris that could be blocking the sensors. clean them gently with a damp cloth if necessary. check for damage: look for any visible damage to the sensors or their housing on the bumper. review the system settings: make sure the blind spot monitor and rear traffic alert features are properly enabled in your vehicle's settings menu. consult your owner's manual: refer to your vw atlas manual for specific instructions on how to diagnose and troubleshoot the blind spot monitor system. potential causes for the error: faulty sensors: one or more of the radar sensors in the rear bumper may need to be replaced. sensor wiring issues: damaged or loose wiring connecting the sensors to the vehicle's electrical system. software glitch: a software malfunction within the vehicle's computer system could be causing the error. vehicle modification: recent modifications to the rear bumper or body could be interfering with the sensor functionality. what to do next: visit a volkswagen dealership: if cleaning the sensors and checking the settings do not resolve the issue, take your atlas to a volkswagen service center to have the system properly diagnosed and repaired by a qualified technician. when i attempted to tell christine this information again, she acted as if i was ignorant, lieing and didn't know what i was talking about once again. the only reason why i contacted you all is because collision works were the ones that repaired my vehicle. this is a disgrace and i will tell any and everyone to not use you repair shop because the works are. with the information shown above, this should've been an easy fix however christine did not want to admit that her and her techs messed up and did not know how to fix an issue they caused. read more

I was told they accepted walk-ins so I came at 8:35 AM to get an estimate. No other customers were there when I arrived. The lady asked me several check in questions & she made it seem as if it was okay that I was there. She then came back into the lobby area and asked me if I can come back at 2:30 PM. I thought that was so rude especially since they claimed they accepted walk in customers! She told me that the adjuster had an appointment that was "about to walk in". I'm still in the parking lot searching for another body shop and no one has walked through the doors of this business. I'm sure his appointment was coming at 9am or later. My damages are very minor and an estimate for my car wouldn't have taken long. read more

Well I am not giving it any rating (yelp doesn't allow no rating and a review) but by the looks of it this looked a pretty legit place to get your body work done. They accept some major insurance cards. I wanted to get my car repaired, he didn't really look at it very well and handed me a big estimate. You could also be scared by the expensive estimates too, and I think they overestimate their labor hours which is how they set an expensive estimate. read more

This body shop over promises the completion time for their repairs and does not communicate back with the customer. I spent over 4 months on a simple bumper replacement. When I picked up my vehicle, it still was not complete (missing a tail light protector) and the detailing that they promised me was not done. In fact, they left black hand prints all over the roof of my Jeep. They also left a white, milky residue (which was probably Armor All) on the inside of my windshield. I guess they wanted to "attempt" a car detailing, but fell way short on a real one. It took me a long time to scrub the residue off the glass. I won't be using them in the future. If you read the Google Reviews, you'll see that they are from 2 plus years ago. Doesn't that seem odd? Also, if you come across a business that has a one-sentence review only or just an emoji...beware. That is the family and friends of the business trying to cover up the bad reviews. After years of receiving good service and always recommending this company to my friends and family I am sad to have to write this review . I am very disappointed with the service that I have received . Being told several different reasons of why the vehicle isn't complete , having to be inconvenienced in so many ways is an understatement . The staff does not communicate with each other about the progress of vehicles . It's one thing to have to wait inline before you can drop the vehicle off and the parts are ordered I can understand but what I can't understand is all the broken promises to be ready dates that's just unacceptable If at any time that you realize that You can't get the job done correctly than you should reach out to the client and let them decide if they need to take the vehicle somewhere else to get it done right instead of just keep telling them come on this day and its still not ready . I will never go back to this company again what turned into 4 days has turned into 4 weeks for a simple repair . read more

Took our newer pickup truck here for an estimate on what appeared to be a long scrape/scratch/gouge that was caused by a free roaming grocery/shopping cart. Only a few minutes wait and the owner, Mark Tate, came out, looked at the truck damage, went into the shop for a moment and returned with a rag and some solvent with which he removed the entire damage. Looks good as new. Took 30 seconds. And NO CHARGE! I offered to pay something, or a cash contribution/"donation" to Mark; he would not accept it. He asked that we keep his business in mind, use them should we need auto body repair. I told him we would, and am very appreciative of what he did! Highly recommend! read more
