Ian S. came out to install a water softener system, Reverse Osmosis system, a pressure regulator and some plumbing rework throughout the laundry room for us, and his work was absolutely impeccable. First, he listened to our particular concerns about our home and then did a complete inspection of our attic - including a bunch of pictures (because when was the last time you were in your attic?) Our home is 33 years old and totally under-insulated. Our biggest complaint was the "hot in the summer, cold in the winter" temperature of our master bedroom. He showed us the existing 2" of original blown-in insulation that remained currently in our attic and explained how upping the amount to "code" would make a huge difference. We opted for a total removal of the old insulation so that they could fill all the cracks and openings where air escapes. We also had them install a radiant barrier on the undersides of our roof rafters which will reflect additional heat from the attic area. The whole job took two days. On day one, they vacuumed out all the old insulation which they collected in a bladder-filled dumpster which had been delivered. Then they filled all the cracks and applied the radiant barrier. There was a big crew of guys here and they kept the mess to a minimum by draping plastic from the attic opening in my hall and completely covered my floors where they were walking and the wall corners where their hoses might rub. I really appreciated that because once they left I didn't have a big mess to clean up! On the second day, they blew in 40 bags of new insulation. I waited a month since the install to write a review because I wanted to live in my newly insulated home for a while before I weighed in. First thing we noticed was the sound - it's actually quieter in our house! The last few days it's been windy, rainy and gross outside - we haven't felt the need to "take the chill off the house" by turning the heat on for a little bit. We're so comfortable now. We had a lot of work done by the Commandos and felt the price was super competitive! I would highly recommend this company.

They called ahead of time to let us know they were on the way. Did the inspection and gave us the cost and we just had them do the job that day. Phil, Erik & Quan were fantastic. Our attic doesn't even look the same. We had virtually no insulation left as our home is 20yrs. old and the insulation was original. It is amazing up there now! Pink everywhere!!! I've paid nearly $1000 in service and repairs for my AC because they did not cover my pan/condenser lines at all and insulation has completely clog it causing damage to my new insulation as well as my ceiling. They also blew insulation up against my electrical switch, which the HVAC company caught. This could have resulted in a catastrophic fire. After paying $4500 to have my home insulated, I expected professional service.

They've maintained our current unit well and have helped us to understand what it needs to keep going for many more years rather than treating it as disposable or pushing us to replace it. They did a big attic insulation project for us a few years ago that has completely changed our comfort in our 1950s home, 1000% worth it. They gave us lots of good advice and options for that project including correcting related/unrelated deficiencies from the prior installers. We've continued wth their plan for maintenance which has definitely been a good value for us. Matthew came out for our regular unit check this month and noted several issues that we didn't expect, but was able to address them same day very fairly, honestly, transparently. I appreciate his clear explanations of the deficiencies and the work done (with pictures!) so I don't have to get up on the roof too. It's a huge relief knowing our unit is now in good working order and not bound to fail on us in August.

I've conditioned my garage for the last 8 years with only the ceiling insulated. My what a difference just fired up the A/C and within 10minutes the garage dropped 5= degrees. The cleanup was excellent and Bret and Fabian did the job quickly. I do recommend as they are not only competitively priced but do the job as promised.
