    We purchased our brand new AC unit from Larson last year. Today we had a maintenance check up. Have you ever had an AC company actually proactively reach out to you so they could schedule their follow up appointment? Wild right? We were appreciative of their customer service! Raegan E. was super professional, kind and genuine during his visit. We are always thankful that they wear booties in our home (we have children and animals) to not track any unwanted dirt or germs in our homes as well! We realized there was a service that wasn't completed by a past technician and Raegan made sure to correct that today on his visit. We would definitely recommend Larson, their customer service and overall work flow has been great!

    Great company. Originally found them on Yelp. Just had a second AC unit replaced by them. They came out right away when we called. They sent out Saul. He clearly communicated options and we chose to replace since the unit was 21 years old. They definitely aren't the cheapest but the people are responsive and friendly and they use Trane products which I like. They also didn't try to nickel and dime us like a lot of AC places do. Install crew came the next day. Did full replacement of entire system in one day and threw in a few extra little things (no extra charge) and explained what they were and why. Mike and Anthony were the install crew....see pic with me and Mike. Definitely recommend Larson.

    Larson Air - on time and ready to go!

    As always, this is an honest review without influence of any kind. I had a, different review written, but I guess it was too long. Anyway, I think Larson is a good company to work with and certainly got me out of a jam with a new A/C system in just days and it could have been a lot longer. I dealt with several people from the company and they were all very nice, and genuinely tried to get me taken care of quickly. Still, there has been a big difference from the before and after. Somewhat of a disconnect, which is unfortunate, even after I called them. I was told someone would call me back, but it has been a week.... and nothing. A few examples. Again, everyone was very nice, professional, on time and more. The unit was much more expensive than I expected although part of that is a whole house air purification system that I purchased. They did not try to up sell me, which I appreciated. I was the one that actually asked about the air purifier. It was also a matter of days from initial contact to install, which was very helpful, and the unit seems very efficient. On the other side, there seems to be a lack of knowledge. First, the ROC requires an actual paper contract on jobs over $1,000 and I didn't even see a digital contract until all was said and done. I was told "sign here, here, and here." That is unusual for me, but I did. I later found out that one of those signatures stated that you agreed that all work was completed as specified. How would I know that? I didn't go up on the roof to look, and didn't even see pictures. I actually had to ask for a picture of the data plate of the system for records and to know a new system was actually put in and not something several years old. I also asked for pictures of the air purification system, but haven't received them, yet I signed that all was completed. I also signed that I agreed with all recommendations, and that was before knowing that if landscaping had to be removed, that was on me - but I didn't know that, and wouldn't have signed if I did. I was also surprised to see a crane sitting in my driveway, when I was told it would be on the street. I of course was concerned, because I had no idea if my driveway from the 70's could handle it. Seems that too would have been on me, but again I didn't know that, after being told differently by sales. The contract should be presented first, and I have stated that. I was to be called back, but it has been a week and nothing. That is actually why I waited. If I hear anything I will update. I also received no instructions for the unit or the air purifier, or even a link to them although I asked. Again, they seem like a good company and worked hard and efficiently, but there is a lot that could and should be done to ease the mind of the consumer, especially when spending over $20,000. Maybe it is just me, but I would suggest thinking about these things before just agreeing. Again, everyone from the company seemed nice and that they honestly wanted to get me up and running quickly, which they did and was very much appreciated. Still the disconnect after has been somewhat disconcerting, especially after I did call them and had a very friendly conversation making several suggestions to perhaps make it easier for the consumer who is spending quite a bit of money. I think they are a good company that does good work, but only you can decide how much you are willing to let slide. As always, that is the truth!

We were looking for a repair and Chris was willing and able to do it. That evening we discussed it. Because the age of the unit the next day we asked about replacing it. Chris seemed surprised that we were considering that. His estmate was lower than prices we had been told by others who had similar units replaced. Then after the rapid install of a name brand unit with a 10 year warranty the final bill was significantly less than his original estimate. He left everything neat and cleaned up. He is fair and honest in addition to the other things noted!!! We could not be happier or more pleased with the quality, price and timeliness of the work done by Chris of Chill Doctor HVAC.

    Our A/C units are 29 years old and are starting to go out. As a result I inquired with a few HVAC…read morecompanies to get quotes on a replacement of two units. Alex (owner) was incredible to work with. He came out to our property and did a full evaluation. He caught things that no one else did. One thing that stood out to me was his transparency and honesty around the setup of our systems. We have old suction lines and liquid lines that are not compatible with the new Trane units. He has a solution for that but he was the only one that mentioned this. Some of the other installers that I inquired from also quoted us on the exact same Trane unit and failed to bring this up. In fact, the other companies were going to install a Trane unit on old lines, which would cause early compressor failure and voided the warranty through Trane due to the units being installed on the wrong sized lines in the first place (verified this with Trane). Alex was patient with me through all of my questions, provided examples of what it would look like to replace the lines, and was amazing to work with. Even though we ended up going with a company that made units compatible with our old lines, I am forever grateful to Alex and Ideal Air Conditioning for saving us from dumping a bunch of money to potentially have a premature failure down the road. If replacing the lines was not mandatory, we would have chosen Ideal Air Conditioning in a heartbeat. We plan to use them in the future for all of our HVAC maintenance!

    My husband and I first heard of Ideal A/C & Installation at the Phoenix Home Show in January when…read morewe stopped by their booth. We recently purchased a home in Phoenix and were aware that we should have our A/C units serviced in the winter. We had a good feeling from our chat with them, and booked a maintenance call. Matt serviced our A/C units and showed us the condition things were in. As new homeowners, we were unaware of how good or bad the units were, and Matt helped us see we could be running them more efficiently and safely if he made some repairs after servicing. We went ahead with the recommended fixes, and he made all the repairs while he was here. He showed us that he really cares about his customers, and took good care of us when we had a lot of questions we needed help with. A few weeks later, Brian came over to perform a home energy audit and brought to our attention some additional issues that were causing us to leak energy and money. Although it's hard to accept that there's a lot of deferred maintenance we have to spend money on, we trust the team from Ideal and appreciate their review of our home. My father was a very successful commercial HVAC salesman in another state, and I grew up in the world of air conditioner talk and spent a lot of time at his company. The team at Ideal made me feel comfortable, like I felt with my dad's employer. I recommend Ideal - Elaine, Matt and Brian are the ones we worked with and I love that I can really trust them.
