I called and met with a handful of insulation companies to get quotes. Armando came out on time, was more knowledgeable than the other companies that came by, and was incredibly patient with me and all my questions,. They were very professional throughout the whole process - from initial phone consult to onsite visit to scheduling the job and then doing the work. Armando has strong expertise. I had minimal insulation in the attic to begin with, we discussed R38 vs going higher and he offered advice, rather than trying to sell me on doing more. In the end I wanted to go up to R49. Competitive pricing certainly helps, it was an easy decision to award him the job. Installation on the day was quick, cleanup afterwards was complete. He did photos and video before, during and after showing the progress of the job. In the 2 wks since getting the extra insulation the a/c has not been cycling on as much and there's less hot spots around the house, so definitely a successful project.
