I wish all contractors were this good. AZ Pride just did my garage walls blowing in into existing Sheetrock walls. I've conditioned my garage for the last 8 years with only the ceiling insulated. My what a difference just fired up the A/C and within 10minutes the garage dropped 5= degrees. The cleanup was excellent and Bret and Fabian did the job quickly. We have an 800 sq ft garage with 10ft high ceilings. Bret blew in 16" of fiberglass in the attic and insulated the wall cavities. We immediately could tell the difference as it held the temperature. Bret and his son came to provide me a quote, both going into my attic to ensure they would be able to reach all the necessary areas. Their quote beat all others, and he seemed more knowledgable than any other company I had called. He made sure that my air handler wasn't too low where insulation would fall in and walling off areas (like the attic access hatch) where insulation could drop into the house. I had a small issue of some insulation getting into my ductwork, but that was more a result of the AC unit being installed poorly when the home was originally sold to me. We used AZ pride Insulation to update and get installed more insulation this summer. They were 100% professional and completely straight with us about everything. They came out and gave an estimate after looking at our 15 year old original insulation. We were given several different options and they worked with us to select the right combination of insulation for our needs. We also had insulation put into an area of our house (above garage) that had none. We were a little worried about how they would get it in there and if there was going to be visible signs after, but they subcontracted out to a drywall expert and it looks as good as new. I'm writing to recommend AZ Pride Insulation LLC to you if you need additional insulation in your attic. I solicited four (4) bids from local contractors that had good reviews on Google, Nextdoor and the Better Business Bureau. The work was to add insulation to the attic of my home and garage in Sun City West to bring it up to R49 (home) and R19 (garage). Three contractors took the square footage of my home (1,800 sq ft) and gave me an estimate over the phone. Bret Newell, owner of AZ Pride Insulation, came to my home and spent about 30 minutes crawling around in my attic, counting can lights in my ceiling (they put cones over the recessed lights so the insulation doesn't cause them to overheat), and inspecting my AC/heat duct manifold for leaks. Bret gave me a verbal description of how much insulation I had in my attic spaces (about R16 as originally installed by Del Webb), advised me that there was some minor air leakage from my AC/heat manifold, and discussed options with me. He followed up with a written estimate that offered options that I could select based on what I thought was important. He professionally answered my questions in a follow-up call. The AZ Price crew arrived around 7:00 am ready to work. The two-man crew was professional and polite. They validated the work and the cost with me and then began setting up and working. It took them about three (3) hours to complete the work. They used cardboard rulers throughout the attic to measure the depth of the new insulation so they knew the depth was correct. They vacuumed up a few stray bits of insulation in my garage and inside my home, leaving both areas as clean as they were before the work began, and took my check. The cost was competitive with the three other bids that I received. I feel like AZ Pride did a professional job for a fair price that was specific to the insulation conditions inside my attic. This company is so top notch. First, Brandi was incredibly friendly and explained the options clearly and concisely. Price was fair and competitive. I scheduled Bret to come out to the house, and he was right on time and also very friendly. He explained the estimate and why it was the way it was and we scheduled the job a few weeks out. The morning of the insulation, I received a phone call exactly when they said I would from Angel, and he said they'd be arriving at 7:20am. Right on the dot at 7:20am the truck pulled up and I was greeted. Very friendly crew, and they did a fantastic job of pulling stuff down from my attic from previous owners. They found a computer monitor from 1987!! Anyway, the job wrapped up in about 1.5 hours and the attic looks great. It's amazing how much insulation I didn't have before. Great company and reasonable prices - be sure to clarify the type of insulation you will have blown in. We assumed it would be the cloud kind but it was the pink/itchy stuff and it ended up coming through our duct work. No fault of AZ Pride that it came through the duct work, but it made for a house filled with fiberglass insulation and a day of coughing due to inhaling it before we realized what had happen. I suggest you have an experienced duct work company check your ducts for leaks before you schedule the install of blow in insulation. read more

I'm not sure if my original review will get replaced by this one or not, but the original 1 star was because I had an appointment to have them check what we needed and no one showed up. Apparently it was a one-off mistake with a newer person taking over more responsibility. The owners and the guy that was supposed to show up both called to apologize and it seemed sincere. I gave them an opportunity to come back out. They came the next day and they seemed trustworthy, the price seemed very fair. So, they came back the next day and insulated our whole house. It's 115 out right now and our thermostat is lower than it is this time of day. As long as they got the scheduling thing figured out, definitely a company to check out. read more

We selected AZ Pride after doing a little research, and could not be happier. We had only 2" of insulation in our 1950 home, and they added 14" of blown-in fiberglass to bring us to R-49. I cannot say enough about the process and the experience we received, start to finish from AZ pride insulation. First Brett the owner came out and did an initial assessment of what needed to be done. He was very knowledgeable and personable as well. I feel the need to not only use knowledge but personable because we had several quotes done and non were as friendly as Brett. The prices were comparable, and the companies said pretty much the same thing, but Brett took the time to explain to my husband and go over what/why it needed to be done. Shortly after the visit we received an email quote. The company is busy so the wait time was a bit longer than expected from them and us, so we booked as soon as we could. Next the insulation install day was here. Fabian and Angel came prompt and on time, they introduced themselves and off to work they went. One thing I noticed is Fabian and Angel were not just there to do a job. You could tell they cared, they cared about the customer they were respectful of our home, they even met my daughter before she went to daycare. I know all of this information is not needed for a review. Bret and his wife are very professional. Their turnaround time with inquires, evaluation, estimates and job completion was impeccable! I thought having insulation updated was going to cost me an arm and a leg and it was relatively inexpensive. My thermostat is usually low 70s in the summer and after insulation, it's high 70s! I had a situation in my home called "ghosting" this is where a dark shadowing effect is showing on the ceilings - for 2 years nobody knew what it was. Everyone said it was mold. I had mold testing come up negative. (Thankfully!) I used yelp to describe my problem and Bret's company was the first to know what I was talking about with the "ghosting" problem. Thank you so much! Our experience with AZ Pride was superior. They respected my request for contact by email only when we were in the "quote" phase. Other vendors bombarded us with phone calls. After inspecting our attic space API gave us recommendations to increase the energy efficiency of our home. The owner provided us with options, pricing, and advantages and disadvantages.
