It took longer than I had liked to get a response, but I did hear back from them. I was told to call the office or send an email; so, I emailed them a short description of the work with a picture. The entire process of getting an estimate took 2 business days. I requested an estimate via Yelp Sunday afternoon and received their bid Tuesday afternoon. I decided not to go with Bode's Electric because their estimate was on the higher side among the several estimates I received. In fact, their estimate along with a few others were significantly higher than a couple of bids from other companies in town (more than double). Note: Although they are listed as different companies, Bode's and West Mechanical appear to be the same company. Lawrence at Kingdom Electric arrived the next morning and quickly diagnosed the problem and had it all fixed in short order. He glanced out our kitchen window and noticed Christmas lights on the porch and asked if there was a plug-in outlet outside on the porch. There was and the recent rain was dripping down the cord and setting off the GFCI, just like it is supposed to do. Lawrence wrapped all the exposed plug connections outside to avoid further problems. I so appreciated his quick response to a household without all kitchen power for Christmas. During a powerful windstorm late on a Friday night, a falling tree struck our community well house…read more The impact damaged the pressure switch but thankfully not the pressure tank or plumbing. A call to Dahlman Pump and Well Drilling the first thing Monday morning produced amazing results. An electrician from Dews Electric, who does the electrical work for Dahlman, arrived on site within a couple of hours and quickly installed a new replacement pressure switch he had in inventory on his truck. We and our neighbors appreciate the thoughtful kindness of both Dahlman and Dews in coming to our rescue so quickly.
