I was given Leticia's contact info through a random conversation as I was planning my wedding in Sonoma from Chicago. I had spoken to several other artists before I spoke to Leticia and I was getting frustrated because I didn't feel like they had experience working with woman of color and I didn't want to look like a clown on my wedding day. During my first phone conversation with Leticia we instantly connected. She has a subtle way of making you feel so relaxed. She's a great spirit and her work is amazing. I scheduled a trial and during the trial she tried several different hair styles and makeup applications. She was also very open to my ideas and was good about giving honest feedback. She also was very knowledgeable about new trends in hair and makeup application. After the trial, we took pictures and discussed what things needed to change via email and phone. As any bride, I started getting nervous about my hair and makeup but the week before the wedding Leticia had me in her salon and put my mind at ease. On the day of my wedding she showed up on time and ready to go. She even stayed to ensure that my makeup application and hair were just right for pictures after the wedding. She also did hair for the rest of my wedding party and they all looked amazing. I would definitely work with Leticia again and I encourage every bride to check out the competition and then go to Leticia because you will not be disappointed. I have gone to Leticia for manicures and pedicures. She does a great job on both! She has a wonderful eye for detail and takes her time to get your nail shape correct. Her location is in Salon Novo, which is a very short walk from Sonoma Square. The environment is neat, clean, and free of that "toxic nail salon smell". I highly recommend Leticia! read more

Leticia is AWESOME!! I was planning a wedding in Santa Rosa, California 8/2013. I found her via my wedding coordinator who gave her the unsolicited compliment of being the best hair/makeup specialist in the area. And this was an understatment. Leticia herself is calm and collected and always professional. She is responsive to phone calls, emails. She is flexible!! It began with a phone consultation in which she asked me my hair and makeup habits and my goals. Then she made notes to pull certain items (lashes, primer, etc) for the trial so she would be prepared. For my makeup trial, Leticia got so caught up in the hair/makeup that she spent about 3.5 hrs when we had allotted 2.5. However, she wanted to get things just right. We made changes the day before the wedding and she took it in stride even coming to the wedding day 2.5 hrs earlier than expected for some add on hair/makeup of the mothers. On the wedding day, she ran on schedule and did a phenomenal job!! Everyone looked the best I had ever seen and were delivered exactly what they asked for. My mom natural makeup, red lipstick, texas hair. perfect. i looked like the quintessential blushing bride. my sisters- phenomenal. we were getting compliments all night. To put this in perspective- in going through this process, I had 2 makeup trials before this with other vendors. The first did not match my skin tone quite right. The second- the makeup was overdone. Leticia just nailed it. She was so good she put her assistant to shame (who was good and even taught other makeup professionals) I can't say it enough, Leticia. To top it all off, she noticed that I had overpayed by $100 and she promptly emailed me and offered to mail the money back. I found Leticia online when looking for a stylist for my wedding day, and I am so glad I did! Not only did she make my hair look amazing (like a work of art!), but she made me feel so calm, comfortable, and beautiful on my big day. She was able to work in flowers that I brought, as well as a pretty large piece of Indian jewelry, into my hairstyle, so it looked awesome and felt secure all night. Actually, she does such a great job of making the style stay (and look effortless), that I went bicycling after our trial session, wore a helmet, and my hair still looked fabulous for dinner that evening! Leticia is amazing. She styled my mother's and my hair for my wedding. She also did my make up. Her demeanor is wonderful and helped me stay calm, cool, and collected. She was very particular and used my color scheme, flower arrangement style, and wedding dress color and texture to inform the hair style she did for my wedding day. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Leticia. She worked with our daughter on her wedding make-up, doing a trial run in advance, and also helped with the bridesmaids and mother of the groom on the wedding day. She has such a professional and calm demeanor, even in the midst of wedding chaos. She has a light touch with the make-up brush, enhancing my daughter's natural beauty so that she still looked like herself. I was excited to have her do my hair the night before for the Rehearsal event, and I am very picky about my hair....I loved what she did! Leticia is absolutely the best! Have you ever had a regular manicure last more than two weeks without chipping???? That is how long Leticia's manicures last! The nail at the base of my nail shows up before the tips chip. Also, since she started coloring and cutting my hair people tell me it is the best cut and color I have ever had. For my wedding Leticia did my mom's, sister's and my hair. We are all Indian, but our hair could not be more different- Mom has short and frizz-prone straight hair, I have wavy but thin hair, and my sister has thick, THICK coarse, curly hair (it is a beast). Leticia managed to work wonders with all of us, and made us feel relaxed and confident the day of the wedding. I scheduled my trial the day of my civil ceremony at city hall earlier in the week, and that was a great idea because my hair looked fantastic! The actual wedding was not exactly like the trial, but I liked both. Leticia also did a great job accommodating the headpiece and hair jewelry I needed to wear for my traditional Indian wedding.
