But when I found that I had questions, they were always quick to respond. I really liked the website and how it is set up to look like an invoice as you're putting your package together. When the day of the event came, the assistant put everything together and let me know that if there were problems with the machine, to give her a call or text, which I appreciated. I was a little worried when she mentioned that the machine had had issues at an earlier event though. But when it came down to it, we didn't have any issues and the pictures came out nicely, both printed and digitally. Everyone had a great time taking pictures at the photobooth. We were lucky enough to stumble upon them in the process of securing wedding videography, and they were absolutely superstars. 1) they absolutely killed the wedding videography, and were very fun to work with. This was evident in their "day-after" preview video (90 seconds of incredible footage, we can't wait for everything else), but also: 2) their demeanor and professionalism day-of made our wedding great. Jen stepped in and prepped our officiant (which our wedding coordinator didn't do), they took extra steps to make sure we were accommodated and happy and soaking in the moment. They got extra shots that were great, and they gave us space when we just needed to connect. One of the takeaways almost everyone had from our wedding was that Jen and Tommy were wonderful. Then everyone saw the preview video and their star went up another level. Thank you so much, we loved working with you guys! Steven & Janel supply the kooky props (feather boas, giant sunglasses, hats etc.) & guests supply their sexy poses. I prefer their high quality, glossy 4X6 prints than the 3 pic strips from the inferior competitors. And, so everyone doesn't fight over them, the pics are posted online to download for free. I love checking out the flatscreen TV and viewing the pic slideshow for instant gratification. I consider Steven & Janel enablers. They enable this attention whore to primp & pose with all his Yelp buddies, like a kid in a candy store, or Imelda Marcos at DSW. It starts with a simple "Hey, nice to see you again! Let's take a pic!" & escalates to "Who can do a better dorky pose?" Mitt Romney may have a "binder full of women", but Splendid Studio Booth has a "binder full of Rodney", considering all the pics I've had them take of me. A pictures worth a thousand words, so all the pics of me & my buds could fill up the next edition of Encyclopedia Britannica (Are they even still in business?). Yourik, the owner, came highly recommened, not to mention on opposite coasts. We wanted the best of the best and went to Los Angeles for our Engagement session to see for ourselves! So cliche, but seeing is really believing! Prior to our arrangement, I spoke with Yourik multiple times in great detail, it was the first time we had a photo shoot, and prior to our meeting we were a little nervous which is a given in this situation. However, when we met Yourik, Gevik, and Hamlet our chemistry was undeniahble and they are extremely talented. We planned to do multiple settings and themes, but there are only so many hours in a day. We had two days of photography and videography in multiple popular and secluded areas of Los Angeles! It was a blast, and could not stop laughing and smiling throughout the experience. With this preview, we couldn't wait till May! Some couples think engagement shoots are a waste of time and has no use at all. Well, think twice, you will regret it later. Also, we can't emphasize more on the importance of 'letting go' during the shoot. They were all great and really helped eliminate our timidity in front of the camera , and we were able to see each persons various photography and videography styles. When Yourik, Gevik, and Hamelt arrived in DC, they provided our engagement photo album and all of our images captured. The album was so beautiful and professional incorporating different photographs including many silhouette, candid and glamorous moments, we felt like we were in California again. All three combined various styles including cinematic, traditional, artistic, and Indigenous/ beach. We love the beach and would travel any opportunity we had, so it was like deja vu, they took us back 10 years to memory lane and brought our story alive through their photos, drone, and many candid photos, which is a very difficult task! The Album- we were all speechless when we saw our album; being that we had spread out the shoot two days incorporating different settings, time, and location, the pictures we were presented had iconic places as backdrops and were very surreal. They took creativity to a whole nother level which added glamour and sophistication ! For our wedding, Yourik and his team arrived at our bridal suite capturing various things including the beautiful romantic room our Planner Shamci and Youriks team created of my dress , my husband and his groomsmen getting ready, bridemaids and me getting ready, and dancing leading up to getting this party started. We proceeded to the Armenian Church to make it official where they captured so many beautiful images of the ceremony, guests, and family pictures. Following the Armenian ceremony, we returned back to the hotel to continues with the traditional sitting of the Persian Sofreh Aghad and reception. They were constantly by our side moving and captured EVERYTHING from all the tears, dancing and energy till the early morning hours! We were so pleased with our pictures and can't wait to see our video! My family and I can't thank them enough for capturing the priceless images and memories that they did! Keep calm and let go when you have Yourik, Hamlet, and Gevik! The lady hosting that event said she had gone to several other events where there was a photobooth and just wasn't ever happy, whether it was the picture quality, the service, or the number of photos. She said JR was the only photobooth that checked all her boxes in what she was looking for and personally, I trust her judgement because she's super neurotic but in a good way :) I had hired him two times since then and have gotten the same excellent quality photos and service you'd expect. They are everything you are looking for in a photobooth and so much more! At my most recent event, I opted for an AI upgrade to my photos which was tailored to my party theme. While it was an additional cost that I was a little hesitant about getting, I'm so glad I agreed to it because it was absolutely worth it! Not a lot of photobooths have this option available and for what he charged it was so worth it because my guests and I loved it! It truly was one of the highlights of my event. JR is very easy to communicate with, friendly and professional. I always recommend them to anyone I know who has an upcoming event.
