I don't write reviews, and I actually contemplated about even writing this. I have never felt the need to take the time out of my day and write a review on service, but I feel IT'S MY DUTY AS A BRIDE TO TELL YOU ABOUT THE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I've encountered at All the Rage (Hilltop Location). I am going to try and be a objective as possible. Last Wednesday, 9/10/14, my bridesmaid when to go pick up her dress (an Alfred Angelo one shoulder long dress). When she got there, she was in shock that her dress was the short style. She called me frantically explaining what was happening. She asked Brittany, their sales associate, if she could just swap the dress and rush order the correct dress. Brittany said that the earliest they could get the gown was 10/7/14 (my wedding is 10/11/14), but they could not garuntee that they would get the gown that day. She told my bridesmaid that there was nothing they could do. She said they were not able to give a refund because my bridesmaid signed off on it. No apologies were given. No calling the manager, owner, etc. to see what could be done. All she said was that was she'll give her a call about dresses they could get in, that were comparable to the dress. My bridesmaid told her I would be coming later that day to pick up my mother's gown, and will talk to them then. I went to the store picked up my mother's gown and spoke to another sales assoicate. The first thing the sales associate said, "I wasn't here that day, so I didn't place the order" Then another sales associate, who I assume is Brittany, comes and explains that she knows what's going on. I asked what could be done, and the response was there's not much. She signed the paper and we can't do anything. I asked if she could get her money back, they said "No, she should of checked before she signed" I asked if they found similar dresses and their response was that they were busy & not able to look up anything. No apology was given to me or my bridesmaid about anything. No phone call was received about similar dresses. I am pretty sure, customer dissatsfaction should trump most things. I left All the Rage upset, went in my car in tears that I have one maid who will not be wearing an identical gown. I contacted/visited other stores that day to see what dresses I could rush. The other stores were more sympathetic,apologetic, and accommadating for All the Rage's incompetence. Now I know you're wondering what I'm going to do, I mean I'm getting married in less than a month? Alfred Angelo Bridal in Springfield, Va rescued us from this debacle. All of my out of town bridesmaid called every Alfred Angelo store in reasonable driving distance from them. Alfred Angelo not only apologized for All the Rage, but went as far as to rush the dress for an extremely discounted price. The dress is expected to arrive in the beginning of October. Their manager was over apologetic, when the situation was not their fault. She went out of her way to help us, even when it wasn't her situation to rectify. And I know that All the Rage, will try and justify what happened. Here's my thing: I completely understand that it was the responsiblity of my bridesmaid to check her receipt, but we're ordinary people. We are not well versed in style numbers, we show pictures of things we like. If you showed a picture of the dress and tried on the LONG dress, would it not be safe to assume that your dress will be long. Customer satisfaction is part of your job. I work in a customer service based environment too, and I completely understand that the customer is not always right. But even so, you do everything possible to rectify situation or come to a compromise. You never let a customer walk out with out trying to do everything you can to fix the situation. You don't just throw up your hands and customer, and basically tell "you're **** out of luck." All stores contacted Ava Clara, Alfred Angelo, etc... were more apologetic than you! They went out of their way to come up with suggestions even though they know they would not be making a "sale" that day from my bridesmaids and I. And to them I will be forever grateful for trying to make a bad day better. All I know is that I will be sure to tell ALL my friends & family getting married this year NOT TO SHOP AT ALL THE RAGE! THEY HAVE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! read more

First stop for wedding dress shopping and they did not disappoint. Great selection and service. Went to a couple of other local dress shops and came back to buy THE dress. They offered incentives for getting it here on the first day of dress shopping- I got the veil for free! Dani was great but all of the employees seemed great that were there. Definitely recommend! read more

I tried on wedding dresses at Studio I Do. I loved my consultant Jill! She was very patient, helpful, and insightful. I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. I really love the renovations too. My only suggestion would be to put a mirror in the dressing room so the bride can get a peek at the dress before showing her family. I would have liked to form some type of opinion before showing everyone. read more

I loved Studio I Do! The salon was beautiful and comfortable and had a wide variety of dresses. I was surprised by the number of dresses even though it seems like a small store. After two other stores, I was so happy to find new styles that I hadn't tried before and I ended up finding my dress there. They had many dresses in my $2,000 budget, most of the ones I tried were under $1,500. Jill was a wonderful consultant, not pushy at all and very helpful. She listened to my comments and helped me find the perfect dress. The staff was so friendly when I returned the day after my original appointment to buy the dress. I ordered a bridesmaid dress back in the spring for my sister's wedding. I was measured in store and ordered the dress size they recommended. However, when the dress came in and I went to try it on, it wasn't close to zipping in the back. The girl who helped me that day explained that the style dress we had ordered ran tighter/smaller in the back. That's ok, but it's not ok that they didn't tell us this when we ordered them so we could have ordered at least one size up. I have had to go to a couple different alteration places to have the dress looked at, because they will need to pull 5 inches of material out to make the dress fit. I know that you sign a form when you order signifying that you are basically ordering at your own risk, but 5 inches seems like a lot, especially when they didn't advise until the dresses came in that they would run small. I now run the risk of the third seamstress not being successful at making the dress fit. Bridesmaid dresses shouldn't need quite this much altering and I'm not sure I would recommend this store for others on their dress hunt. read more

BRIDES BEWARE! I went with one of my friends to get her wedding dress. The consultant helping us was pretty nice but the rest of the staff was standoffish and acted like we were in the way. She finally found a beautiful wedding gown. She (and the rest of the party) repeatedly told the consultants that we were concerned about the length of the dress because she planned on wearing heels and a large petticoat under the dress and the bride is fairly tall. We were assured over and over that the "extra length" version of the dress would be more than ok. The ordering process was a fiasco. The lady was super confused during the whole thing and we had to keep reminding them about the length issue. Once again, we were assured that they had measured her correctly and that the gown would not only fit but would probably need to be hemmed. Fast forward a few months, the dress arrives and is TOO SHORT. It was barely long enough without the petticoat or the shoes. They showed no sympathy and offered no real solution except to say they would send the dress back to measure the skirt (which doesn't help because it is obviously too short) and/or find out if a custom skirt can be made (the wedding is in 4 MONTHS AND this would be an additional fee and they seemed to think the designer would refuse anyways). My friend was remeasured and clearly the measurements they took before are completely wrong. They refuse to show any concern or to admit that their consultant didn't know what they were doing. UPDATE: We eventually were able to meet with the owner that agreed to let her pick a new dress and they would pay for rush order. The owner seemed to be sincere about wanting to make it right. However, the manager still had an attitude. While the owner is very nice, I still would steer clear because the managers here are super nasty and rude. read more

All the rage had very poor customer service when it came to accommodating the customer. I went to the Virginia Beach location to have my measurements done for a bridesmaids dress. Once I received the dress, it was two sizes too big! I contacted the store and spoke with the managers asking what could be done. I was told that because the dress was final sale, nothing could be done. Understandably, some alterations will be needed even after measurements are taken; however, the dress was two sizes to big on me. In situations like this, the store should try to help resolve these types of issues being as though, their staff's measurements were done so poorly. I had to pay $175 in alterations be be presentable for the wedding. All the Rage does not do alterations on Bridesmaids dresses-very important! All of the Bridesmaids dresses measurements were done poorly. When spending your money, please be mindful of boutiques like All the Rage that will not do alterations nor work with the Bridal party when their measurements are 2 to 3 sizes too big. read more

Bea helped me today with dresses and was WONDERFUL. the overall experience was perfect. From start to finish and I said yes to my dress. Wedding dress sizes can totally suck, which I was prepped for, but Bea did a great job of normalizing the experience even tho I didn't "fit" in most of the dresses. We were the only ones in the store and the experience was memorable for all of us. read more

I have bought every single one of my 8 prom dresses at All the Rage, so naturally I went to find my wedding dress. They have a great selection and I found the perfect dress. My consultant Brooklyn was amazing!!! I am rating low, because the owner is rude and not helpful. I live internationally now, so I asked if they could take my measurements before I left so I could order once I got back and had a pay check. They refused. The reason was that I could change sizes. My response was....well I could also change sizes during the 6 months that I wait for the dress. I asked if they could measure as I trusted their staff and then I would remeasure in Abu Dhabi to confirm my size. They said no. When I called to ask about the price and reconfirm, they said they couldn't give it to me over the phone....as I live out of the country how else am I suppose to pay. So long story short, I love the dresses and most of the staff, but I refuse to give the owner my business again. I refused so much that I ended up ordering a dress in Oregon that will have to be shipped to Virginia Beach to be Altered the week of my wedding that will take place in Saint Louis. I just couldn't trust or work with a studio that refused to use common sense and to be flexible for situations out of the ordinary ( me living on another continent). The women who work here are very rude and stuck up! I took my daughter in to try a dress on for her dad's wedding and gave them the style # and all they did was get her measurements without trying a dress on. Her dad called the store to let them know what he needed exactly (didn't think by me saying we needed for her to try on a dress and get fitted was too hard to understand). Anyhow my daughter went back in and they put her in dress that was like 4 sizes too big. What was the point? When I walked back in after she was done, the older lady said that that was the only dress in that style and that the store in TX could just order it off her measurements. The problem that I tried explaining was that a bridesmaid in her dad's party couldn't order her dress based off measurements because she ended up having to get a dress 4 sizes smaller. Instead of the staff here being more helpful and understanding, they were nothing more than disrespectful! So if the owner Melissa Harmon reads this, I'd appreciate it if you provided these women with customer service training and a class on manners to help get their heads out of their asses! read more

Just happened to be in the area and dropped in for 5 minutes to just take a look at the wedding dresses and did not plan to stay very long. I had stopped at the sister store and they directed me to stop by the Studio I Do. This was on a Saturday sometime before 4pm. There were 3 sales personnel at the desk of which I was told I needed an appointment. I reiterated that I was just doing a quick walk through of which no one was in the bridal area trying on dresses. I was met by 2 more sales girls and was told they needed to get ready for Sunday's appointments...of which I later discovered the shop did not even close until 6pm. The 3rd sales girl approached me and told me they did not like me man handling the dresses...I was stunned and asked her to repeat what she had said. I think I had only eyed 2 dresses taking nothing off the rack and had not been there for more than 5 minutes. I asked to speak to the owner of which they would not give any information on how I could reach her. Before I left the store I told the sales personnel that I had never been treated so rudely. If they did not have anyone in the wedding area I am perplexed why they couldn't have walked with me and showed me several dresses off the rack....as they were doing nothing but standing at the desk. The owner needs to speak with these young ladies on customer service if they want their establishment to keep a good reputation...to say the least I will not be back and I have told numerous individuals about my experience at this store. I have been in business for over 40 years and there is one thing I have learned that if an establishment's employees have an attitude it's not far from what they see from their management. read more

Hello Everyone! I'm writing this review to share my experience and let everyone know how wonderful it was at All The Rage in Virginia Beach. It started from the moment I made the appointment... to finding the dress of my dreams!!!!! This past Saturday my friend and I walked through the door and were promptly greeted with warm vibes!!! This made what could of been a stressful time.....a more FUN and relaxing one. Allison, who helped me is extremely good at what she does people!! She not only was informative, but also fashion forward and budget conscious.....only showing me what I could afford! Never once did I feel overwhelmed!!! My dress is a show stopper...... and I have Allison to thank for all of her hard work and patience with helping me find what made me say "YES" to the dress! If you are looking for a dress that screams Modern Elegance.... I recommend EVERY bride, bride maid or teen going to prom to shop at this store! You won't be sorry you did! Great place for bridal just don't go during prom season which is way too crowded to even enjoy a fitting. I kind of wish they had warned me about it. I would have just switched to a different day. I actually got prom dresses there years ago and that's why this place came to mind for bridal. I loved them then so why not. I tried 3 other bridal shops as well and this seemed the most evenly priced not too cheap with good quality and not over priced either. I've ordered my wedding dress and my brides maids have ordered theirs were just waiting for that to come and hopefully things still go smoothly or I may be updating my review. My stylist was absolutely wonderful. She was really accommodating to my guests, while still paying attention to every need of mine. She gave me honest feedback, showed me different options for dresses, and finally sold me on my dream dress, even though they didn't have it in store. She was able to help me envision what it would look like and helped me see what it might look like with accessories. The store is on the smaller side, BUT has an incredible selection compared to some of the larger stores in the area! Lots of unique dresses! The owner and other stylists helped me as well, which was lovely. No one made me feel pressured in any way, but it was great to have feedback and insight from others too! read more

It's already stressful enough finding your perfect dress and get if it tailored but this place just made it so much work. I had an absolutely wonderful dress shopping experience at All The Rage! The customer service was over-the-top awesome! I went to 3 different shops, and this one was the most enjoyable, by far. With just a brief explanation of my vision, Ashley instantly gathered a rack full of dresses that I absolutely adored! Ashley made me feel comfortable and made the experience fun! She was very skilled in adjusting the dresses to fit perfectly. Ashley also did a great job taming the opinions of my support group and keeping the decision personal. I could tell she genuinely cared about my big day. I did not work with anyone else, but I noticed all the other employees in the shop seemed happy to be there, which made for a pleasant atmosphere. The shop has also been recently renovated with beautiful floors, marble, and elegant décor. It is gorgeous! With the help of All The Rage, I was able to say yes to the dress! :) read more

I was appalled by how Studio I Do Bridals/All the Rage handle my request. To give you a bit of insight as to why I will not recommend doing business with them......I am a House of Maya bride who's bridesmaids ordered their dresses through her as well. Just like many of the other brides we did not get the dresses. However, I have been working with the designer and knew the dresses were ready and just needed the payment to be sent. The only store in this area to work with my designer happened to be All the Rage/Studio I DO. So we reached out to the store and explained our situation. We advised all we needed to do was pay them to pay the designer. Which we were met with this response when we had asked if they will honor the same price we paid for our dresses: "It is not our Policy to honor another store's discount" - which I would totally understand if it someone who was shopping around and looking to make their initial purchase, but this is a different story a whole different situation. I was told by a manager at "All the Rage" they are willing to accept delivery of the dresses from the designer but on their terms, which would be $25 off only - and that this $25 off is a discount that is normally only offered if the Bride had purchased her gown from them... So long story short. They were trying to make my bridesmaids pay more than they orignally did for doing nothing but other than being the middle man and a store front for UPS to deliver the dresses to. They wanted to make even more of a profit off of us even with knowing the stress and panic we all were in. So I say shame on them for not being sympathetic or making acceptations for people who have so unfortunately fallen into this mess at someone else's actions (i.e. House of Maya). If you are trying to find someone to honor the orignal price you paid or give you more than just a $25 off I would suggest doing business with another bridal salon like Milk and Honey....when we reached out to and spoke with the owner, Brooke. She responded exactly with and how I had expected someone with compassion and understanding in this industry would have responded... with much grace, compassion and heart felt sympathy for our situation. Before I could even ask if she would consider, she offered to take on task of facilitating a COD payment and accepting the dresses at her Boutique for us and would honor the same prices in which all 6 bridesmaid had paid. She is was NOT looking to make a profit off of someone else's misfortune, but to only help in facilitating a means to an end of this stressful situation - which is knowing the dresses exist and in your hands needing only payment to release the dresses into our hands. Not at all like "All the Rage" where as they did not even take into consideration that they are making a profit with little effort - in fact a larger profit than if we had purchased the dresses from them originally - in that they did not have to pay an associate to make the sale... thus no payroll expenses for the sale, and little to no effort on their behalf has or will have to be made to place the order for the dresses with your company... the order has already been made and processed... the dresses already exist, they just need a location to be delivered with a COD payment upon their arrival... again a profit to be made even with honoring the original purchase prices. Again... I'm left in disbelief with their lack of jumping in and doing what is honorable!!! read more

I have been to this store twice. First was to look for bridesmaids dresses and second to look for wedding gowns. Ashley helped both times and was amazing. After being treated very poorly at another bridal boutique, All the Rage, Laskin, fit me in right away!! She took a full two hours with me. I liked all the dresses she pulled for me and LOVED the special dress she chose for me. So much that I ended up purchasing it that day. Not only was it an amazing and unique, the price was great too! Ashley was extremely informative and took all my questions and concerns into consideration. She listened to what I wanted and found multiple dresses for me. She provided secrets and tips for a bride to be. She really knew what she was doing! All the staff have been so kind and polite to me when I've gone in. I received the treatment and attention a bride should receive when shopping for a dress. It made me feel great! I will strongly recommend this store to friends and family! read more
