Turns out I did in fact need that paperwork properly filled out in order to register this kayak. I mailed the paperwork back to the store two months ago, after posting this review, and one month ago they claimed to have mailed it back (I still have not received it). So unless this paperwork appears out of thin air, I'm left with a $1200 kayak I can't use how I want to. Even if it does magically appear, this will have been a frustrating waste of my time and money. I deeply regret my purchase.

He didn't have a totally canned routine, rather assessed my knowledge of kites, wind, etc and taught me accordingly. I never felt like I was bored, nor did I ever feel lost. Unfortunately, the wind died and we weren't able to launch the kite but I did learn a lot. Aaron comes highly recommended.

The scuba equipment we rented was very nice, our wet suits were still stretchy and newer. and I was very happy that their regulators were quality and I could take as deep a breath as needed. They also had integrated weights which a lot of dive shops do not. The Captain and dive master worked together to find an alternative dive spot when our first stop had low visibility, which they did.
