He was very accommodating in finding a day and time that worked for us, very hospitable, and had a great personality! Charlie texts you several times before the boat day, to make sure directions on everything are clear- I really appreciated receiving the EXACT directions with pictures and precise details. His "Tiki Tiki" boat was brand new and beautiful, and I enjoyed bringing our own drinks and snacks on the boat (he parks next to a food boat, if you'd rather buy food). The sandbar was a lot of fun, and Charlie brought many toys for us to play with on the water (kayak, rafts, beer pong table, noodles, etc). Definitely enough equipment to keep you busy for the day! The sandbar was a bit busy (even on a weekday), but he tried to find us an area where no one was blaring their music, so we could play our own. Charlie took several pictures and videos for us that he emailed us later in the week. I really enjoyed having all those, in addition to mine. Only constructive criticism I have, would be that I booked a half day "tour", and had mentioned going snorkeling and doing the catch/release of baby sharks. I was under the impression that was all set up as the plan for the day. However, we went straight to the sandbar and spent the day there; little bit of a letdown as we wanted to do other activities as well- other than that it was a great day! The water was clear, we saw some fish (and lots of dogs), and the weather was perfect- we had a great day with Captain Charlie!

The paddle boarding at night was an amazing experience. You've got about a 10 foot diameter of light surrounding you, from the LED's attached to your board. Aquablue Adventures brought the boat to Islamorada sandbar, the music and most importantly unlimited shots of Fireballs just in case u need a little warm up. OK, so we're headed down to our timeshare for a week in the keys, and my beautiful wife wants to…read morelearn how to stand up paddleboard, and so do her two girlfriends that are coming along for the week. I did some research and found a few vendors online that offered what we needed, but after speaking with Patrick Doyle of Beach Bum Paddle Sports, I knew we didn't need to go any further. Patrick made the whole process completely effortless, economical, and fun for all of us. After checking our schedule and the weather forecast, we decided to rent two boards for three days. Pat had all the preliminary paperwork all done electronically, and very simply, making it a breeze to conduct business with him. Then, he goes and delivers the boards to our location, to our timeshare. We didn't have to worry about picking them up, strapping these things to the car or anything. Once he got to our place, and found my less than chiseled physique a challenge for the equipment he brought, he politely suggested a larger board that would provide easier learning and better balance experience for the likes of me. He went BACK to his store, and exchanged the smaller board he had for the largest he had, and came back with it. Talk about going the distance for customer service and experience, wow. He then proceeds to give all of us lessons on how to use the paddles, adjust their height, how to turn, how to stand up, and in 5 minutes my wife was out in the gulf standing up and paddling away through schools of parrotfish and yellowtail and loving life. We really enjoyed the boards for all three days, I got crispy crittered out there without enough sunblock, but everyone had a blast. On the evening of the third day, we brought the boards and paddles back to our unit, and Patrick made arrangements to pick them up the next morning while we went down to Key West. Everything was so effortless, simple, easy, customer service was great, very competitively priced, I/we highly recommend these guys for all your aquatic rental needs in the middle keys area.
