For the people who do not like to show up after work to find a person you have never seen in your back yard this is not the company to use. We had northwest services due to our builder paying for the first year and we decided to renew due to keeping it simple. But when we had a schedule date and nobody showed up, then proceeded to call them to find out they rescheduled without telling us we decided to cancel our subscription. After canceling it took 3 more times of calling to get our refund (the third person I talked too informed me they did not cancel us when I called the first 2 times). Then later today I see a random man walking in my back yard when I got home from work. I went out to confront him about what he was doing and he informed me he was there to pick up the termite traps.... I received no call, email, text, or anything to inform me he was coming. I called immediately and just got a lot of sorries and that the manager is "busy" and could not talk. Sorry excuse for a company and worst communication skills I have ever seen in my life. I think if you meet him for one-time treatments and inspect before paying him, he could still be a 4 STAR company. His techs seem to do good work. I had a tenant leave bed bugs, so I looked to Carlus for a 12-month guarantee treatment. Other companies charge $1000+ for this, so his $600 was very appealing. However, those other companies know that several treatments are often necessary along with other measures as bed bugs are very difficult to get rid of. Carlus was less and less responsive on on each callback for a total of 3 treatments. He "casually" mentioned repeated times that he's never had a callback before. Another time he mentioned he's gotten rid of a couple hundred bed bug infestations. With no callbacks? Not possible. Now he has gone cold and doesn't respond to communication, even for other treatments like termites. I think he has learned that I will expect quality and thorough service and he would rather sling contracts with "easier" clients.

Earlier in the 2021, during my annual termite inspection with my pest control service, there was standing water, one dead snake, one small live snake and other debris found in my crawlspace. I contacted 3 different companies for estimates and recommendations to address the concern. Here is the BLUF---Encapsulation is not always the answer and doesn't have to be your only choice!! I learned that from Ameri Care. They were the only company that immediately recognized other water intrusion concerns from the exterior of the home and provided options to address the issues. The estimates I received from the 3 companies ranged from $3500-$12K. Only one company, I believe was the one who gave me honest recommendations--Ameri Care Services. My inspector was Darren Kidd and he was professional from the time he arrived until I made my decision. The day the work was completed the crew worked 100% until it was complete and then made sure that i saw the work before they left. There was no pressure to "get this special deal" or "fully encapsulate" to "fix all my problems". Very satisfied with the work, the communication, and the process.
