We were in the process of selling our home so this was an important thing to deal with. Leaving them to fall on their own was not a viable option. It would tear up the lakefront (bad), it would damage the patio (worse), it might land on someone (even worse), the person it might land on could be a possible buyer (worst). So we needed a tree service. Pronto. After calling a few places and leaving messages, I contacted Jose at J&J. To my utter amazement he said they could come out that afternoon. Who does that? To compound the problem we had a sudden showing popped up an hour later. I told Jose he had to get the trees down before the buyer showed, he said he could, and he did. It was awesome. They took these two 40-50' trees down, carted them away, and tidied up. All in a couple of hours. As an example of good service the. They saw us tidying up the rest of the yard with my leaf blower, one of the guys came over with their industrial strength blower and helped us in short order. Jose was very easy to deal with, gave amazingly prompt service, and charged a most reasonable fee. Bailed us out of a problem situation. So J&J get my highest recommendation.

Would give them zero stars if I could. Don't give many reviews but they are by far in the wrong…read morebusiness. Never call you back even if it's a customer service issue. They don't have the resources and people to do the job and do the job correctly and in a timely manner. Took them over 2 months to get Scheduled for a closing. Had to call over 3 times in that time frame to get scheduled. They didn't show up and time and system ended up breaking due to cold weather. They told me they would fix the problem in the spring and when I called them in the spring they said I have to get it fixed and call a licensed plumber. How can you say you will fix it due to your incompetence to take care of the schedule in a timely manner. Plus how can you do irrigation and not have a licensed plumber on staff? Such a horrible landscaping company and only reason they are in business because they offer cheap service to new home builders.

Design was fabulous and the designer was great to work with (she is not with them anymore). However…read moreright from the beginning we had settling issues. They offered a 3 year warranty and did come to service it, though in every case it took at least 3 attempts to get a call back. After the warranty expired we started paying for repair work even though the issue dated back to day one. Ok, we could accept this provided they were at least marginally responsive. This year it took 5 attempts to get in touch with them only to be told they were too busy to help us. When you spend over 20 grand with someone you expect them to stand behind their work. My advice to you is if you have these guys put in your patio, you'd better learn how to do your own repairs.

These builders came as a recommendation from one of our neighbors and I'm so pleased we chose them…read more We did a number of home upgrades throughout our entire house which required much coordination in minimizing our disruption while leveraging service visits across several tasks. In addition, we needed work to be done so I could host Thanksgiving so there definitely was a drop dead date. This group shined. When you do a major remodel and choose to live in the house through it, many challenges arise. Our first day was demo-day. The path of plastic they built to minimize the dust was an architectural marvel. I felt like I was walking through a quarantine tunnel. Given they are in your house for several weeks, it was an incredibly professional crew. Friendly conversation, validating decisions, asking when new questions arise, working hard, and beautiful artistry of their skills were experienced each day. Changes in design were met with a can-do attitude (we decided to raise our shower head late in the game). When new options arose (new shelf in shower inset) they asked if we'd be interested. Scheduling was always coordinated with our need and one result was that we minimized our time out of the house when all of our hardwood floors were redone. This builder has exceptional relationships with cabinet makers, tile shops, and carpet and appliance stores which makes choosing options much easier. Because of those relationships we had top notch service in each store and all the help we needed in making the right choices. I can't say enough about the positive experience and the process of this complex remodeling. Dan, Dave, Jesus, David, and Carlos, stop over anytime. I'm happy to make another pan of lasagna for lunch and catch up.
