Do NOT Bring a Child Who Is Afraid of Water Here…read more My daughter is 3 years old, and this was her very first swimming lesson ever. Before her first lesson, I clearly told the staff that she was terrified of water and that my goal was simply for her to gradually build confidence and become comfortable in the water. I specifically asked them not to force her underwater. The instructor completely ignored my concerns. During her very first lesson, the instructor put my daughter's head underwater. She immediately panicked and cried. You could clearly see the fear on her face, yet the instructor continued putting her underwater multiple times while she was crying. How is a terrified 3-year-old supposed to learn to hold her breath underwater while she is panicking and crying? At one point, she choked on the water, and I had to stop the lesson and pull her out of the pool. She threw up at the pool afterward and told me she never wanted to swim again. It took months for her to overcome the fear from that experience. The staff member later contacted me and apologized. I explained that I was willing to give them another chance, but I made it extremely clear that my daughter needed to go at her own pace and would go underwater only when she was ready. When we returned for the second lesson, I reminded the staff multiple times not to put her underwater. I also told the instructor directly. Instead of respecting my request, I was told that they have their own "curriculum" that they follow. I explained that I understood they had a curriculum, but I was asking them to make an exception because of my daughter's previous experience and fear. Apparently, their "curriculum" is more important than listening to a parent and recognizing when a terrified 3-year-old is crying. They put her underwater AGAIN. My daughter was crying and clearly terrified, and they continued anyway. This was not teaching--it was forcing a frightened child into something she was not ready for. I simply wanted my daughter to learn basic swimming and water safety in a safe, patient, and supportive environment. Instead, they ignored my repeated requests and made her fear even worse. If your child is young or afraid of water, I strongly recommend staying away from this place. I would never trust them with my child again. A child's safety, trust, and emotional well-being should come before any "curriculum."

She just graduated to Pre Comp and is now a swordfish. My 10 month old started with the parent tot class for 1 month and then we switched to private lessons with Emily and he's doing so good! He's going underwater and learning to float already. I'm here twice a week and see that everyone here works really well with the kids, my children and I all feel comfortable working with any of the amazing instructors :)

He is a wonderful addition to the Watersafe team. We will always be thankful for the invaluable lessons he's teaching our son. Can't say enough about how clean the facility is - staff is constantly keeping things clean and organized. Alex is the person we see most and he is just always so polite and attentive. We went in hoping with all our might that my sister would be paired with a good instructor who has experience with individuals with special needs. At the beginning, I tried to find reviews on specific instructors and times that worked best, and ultimately, with sheer dumb luck, we chose Isabella. That decision has been a very fortunate luck of the draw for my sister to have Isabella for her instructor. We had very low expectations for my sister's goal in learning to swim. However, with Isabella's guidance, care, compassion, and immense patience, my sister's progress has exceeded our expectations. Isabella is a wonderful instructor who embodies warmth, positivity, and is firm even when she brings on new challenges for growth, which is perfect for my sister. With her compassion and kindness, Isabella has managed to make major progress with my sister to allow swimming goggles to be placed over her eyes. For nearly all her life, my sister has hated being submerged under water, goggles over her eyes, or anything over her face, but Isabella has been able to change that and help my sister grow in less than a year. Waterworks Aquatics is lucky to have such a great instructor as Isabella K., whose technical skills are just as wonderful as her care and empathetic nature to her students and the family she works with. I do want to mention, this location is a heated pool facility, with a separate play look, is kept clean overall, and the bathrooms are decent in cleanliness. Parking also usually isn't an issue. I've had to screen cap and send this over so the company can work with IT but it has happened a few times now. Not just with their pricing, but also their locations and their schedules. The fact that the staff is just so kind is definitely an extra, added bonus. I worked several years as a LVN in many different setting. Part of the LVN program requires a candidate to train in all types of settings. I returned 10 years later and was hired to teach in the LVN program. ROP changed my life. The average cost for private nursing programs is between 20 ad 60,000. ROP is a public training center with mininmal cost. I would say go today, Enrol today. They will change your life. Do it. Today.

So, for a fee I was able to have NOROC put in an order from the institution that handles student records. I was told it could take 4 - 6 weeks. Six months later, no mail, no phone call, no nothing. Instead, I lost money and have nothing to show that I went to NOROC. So far, I'm not too impressed with this organization. I was a good student, Cheating students from Romania received "Student of the Year" awards, and I was kicked out of the program for missing a single assignment (but of course, the library was never open after internship). I would not recommend this place. Just study on your own. Pass the written exam then try to find a school that would give you clinical experience.
