I also felt intimidated that I would be talked down to because I have only researched treatments and have had no prior experience. I'm really thankful to say that my experience at Skin Refine Medspa has been extremely positive. I felt seen, heard and understood. Most of all I felt safe! I've been going to Skin Refine since January of last year and I absolutely loved my experience so much, I've been returning since and recommending them to my friends! In fact, I just went in today and felt confident to schedule a new treatment for myself. Thank you to the Skin Refine staff for making me feel safe and secure in my own skin. I am grateful for the ability to ask questions without committing to anything until I'm ready. I feel beautiful and so happy with my results!

Maryam has been incredible as my provider for fraxel laser, microneedling, and RHA redensity treatments. I've also received diamondglows here. It's a great refresher for your face. Maryam also provided tips on maximizing results and always takes your opinion in her recommendations. Altogether, my face has vastly improved. You can argue the treatments are pricy, but buying packages will get you a discount. I just think that's how the industry works so always get packages if you can. This place has a variety of treatment options, though they don't offer something like subcision, which is a more-involved procedure. But I'll just get that somewhere else and continue to come here for other treatments. Of course, they've recommended fillers and such for me. Rha redensity is like one. But they've been respectful that I prefer treatments like fraxel laser and such. There is a reason why they recommend filler though, because it does show faster results than others. The rha redensity provided the most improvement in a shorter time. They also have the skincare you need to purchase with ease. You're going to say those are expensive but they're not selling you products like La mer cream for $400. There is a parking lot, and there's always been space when I went, but the traffic getting there can be a bit much. All in all, I recommend doing at least one treatment here to see how you like it. I originally scheduled a Clear and Brilliant treatment and decided to explore additional options during my visit. Janeen made the entire experience exceptional. She greeted me warmly and even recognized me from visits years ago at the Mountain view location.. That level of attention made me feel valued as a long term client. Her professionalism, knowledge, and customer service stand out. She explained the new treatments clearly, including Potenza and Rejuran Pro, and answered all of my questions with confidence and care. Because of her, I purchased a new treatment package and look forward to getting started. I now live in San Mateo, and that location is less than ten minutes from my home. She tried different injection locations, asked how I liked it at my next visit, and adjusted based on my feedback. I totally understand that, but I had submitted the form almost a week before my appointment, and they didn't tell me it required doctor approval until the day before my appointment. I had to make a doctor appointment to get them to approve it, which made me miss my original appointment. It ended up being fine and I rescheduled, but it was frustrating that I only had one day notice about all of this. On to the actual appointment... it was a great experience. Much quicker and much less pain than I had anticipated. I was in and out within 10-15 mins. The space itself is inviting and clean, and the ladies at the front desk are so sweet!!! Ellie the nurse that worked on me was one of the most professional and nicest people I came across in the medical field (I am in the medical field myself)!
