My husband brought my Lincoln Aviator in for an oil change and tire rotation. The appointment was at 10am. He was told it was going to be an hour and a half when he got there ON TIME. At two hours he hadn't heard anything so he went to the counter to speak to the lady who signed him in. She didn't remember him at all. She walked out to check on the vehicle and came back and said they were working on it. After another half hour the car was finally ready. Horrible service all the way around. Be very leery about buying a used vehicle from them. Bought a 5 month old Acura that was told to me was in showroom condition and has major paintwork done The dealership won't admit to it and the previous owner said they are covering it up. The GM has denied any assistance saying it's factory but a body shop has proven otherwise. They should step up and take care of customers. The salesperson was fine and transaction was mostly smooth but this is what separates companies when they don't stand behind a mistake they make. Don't buy from them. read more

Too much needs to improve. For starters; it would be nice for them to get an accurate accounting of what services were requested, so, there is ample time for the appointment. Second, don't lie to the customer. All pertinent service personnel should remain until closing or at least someone that can explain outrageous claims as to why you could not perform a balance and rotation such as "the lug nuts were swollen." Customer beware: I had a 10:00 am appt for an oil change, alignment and balance and rotation. Ricardo advised me that all he had me down for was an oil change, which will make it difficult to fit in between other appointments. After 2 1/2 hrs later, I asked for a shuttle home. They told me it should be completed by 2:00pm. I see on the work order and receipt states that my balance and rotation wasn't performed "due to swollen lug nuts." I would really have liked a significant explanation for this finding. However; It also states an attempt was made to call me without an answer from me. This is not true. No message was left for me and no missed calls from Allan Vigil Ford. I got there by 2:25 pm and Ricardo had closed up shop. I was told they were open until 3 pm. I only have weekends to get stuff done and today was almost a waist of my time. I will look elsewhere for my automotive needs. These guys are too expensive to have to put up with this mess. read more

I have got to say Omar was great to work with, but the sales managers are the real issue here. Apparently they had a "bug in the system" after offering us 13,800 for the 2015 limited Hyundai Sonata they have. The finance manager comes out and pulls the classic bait and switch. He says unfortunately that price was wrong and he can only give it to me for 17000!! I immediately left unsatisfied and feeling scammed. Fast forward a week later, we receive a call back saying that they are going to work with us on the price that was offered. I was so excited. The whole Time I'm thinking they are going to offer the 13,800 again. Come to find out they CONNED us AGAIN after we gave them the go ahead to do a credit application. They said they could down to 16,500. What a steal . We have bought a car from them before, and now regret giving them any business at all. My Ford vehicle had a recall on door locks malfunctioning. I took my car in for warranty transmission would in April 2018. They allegedly also took care of the warranty work on the locks...although I was not aware of that. Fast forward a bit over the year to October 2019, not only is the transmission slipping again, but another door had to be taped shut because the locks failed. My service advisor (SP) was great...and told me the shop was "caught up" and should have my car done in no time. This was on a Wednesday. We are now approaching 2 weeks and I have NOT received any update from my service advisor or Allan Vigil Ford. I called one week in and the advisor told me that "it should be done today and I will call you" but I haven't heard a peep. They have to be the worse. read more

Took my Ford Explorer Base SUV in for a regular maintenance Tune-Up and afterwards on that same day as I was driving I noticed extreme Idling and rattling that can be heard and felt and which I recorded days later. I requested that the Tune-Up be REDONE to make sure all the numerous parts that had to be removed in order to get to the rear 3 spark plugs could be retightened and checked. I spoke to the service manager and she wanted me to spend MORE money and did not want to redo nor go back and recheck for loose replaced parts although it comes with a so called 2 year warranty. I purchased a 2024 Mustang in December and had all types of warranties and extended coverages added which cam to almost an additional 7k. In April, I traded the car and contacted Allan Vigil to let them know I needed to cancel all of the warranties. I was emailed the forms to sign. I signed and emailed them back asking for acknowledgement that they were received. This was in APRIL. it is now May 10th and my email has not been responded to, my calls are not returned, and I guess I have called so much that now no one even answers the phone when I call. There was a discrepancy in the amount they said would be refunded vs. the amount paid. I know there is some prorating that takes place, but almost $6k? Come on. So all communication from the dealer has ceased, even from my salesperson JD, and no response from Monty in finance. I live about 4 hours away so I can't just stop by the dealership and see what's going on. Great for routine maintenance, but don't even try getting service for problems. I've taken my car for regular oil changes & it's been OK, fast work & nice waiting area too. However, I've tried to get my car serviced for problems three times and have always been told they're too busy with their fleet service and couldn't look at my car unless I left it for days. The last time I tried they told me that if I left the car they could look at it the following week. Note, they weren't saying I should bring it the following week, but that I could leave it for them and they'd get to it the following week. Not an option for someone who depends on their car for work. Bottom line, if you want service from them, you have two options, either purchase a fleet of cars and set up a fleet contract with them so they can service one car while you use another, or schedule your car breakdown two weeks in advance. WORST SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I called Dextavious today and he notified me that my vehicle was ready for pick up. He also informed me that the vehicle navigation was already up to date prior to bringing it to the dealership. Supposedly, my sync3 system was not up to date which is why Lincoln thought the navigation system needed updating. I accepted the information and came to retrieve my vehicle. I confirmed that the automatic lift gate and illuminated emblem, and the automatic folding mirrors worked. Unfortunately, less than three miles from the dealership, "Electronic limited slip differential reduced torque" warning light illuminated on the dash. The same warming light that Dextavious and my paperwork says they fixed. He offers to keep my vehicle, but only has a Lincoln Corsair (5 seats). So I ask for a manager and I resolve to taking my vehicle and waiting on Dextavious to call me back when a fix is available and supposedly get to the front on the service line. I proceeded home using the vehicle navigation and check the system's information once I arrive. The vehicle's Sync system and navigation information was all the same as before it was taken in for service. The information on Lincoln's own website shows different update information than whats currently on my vehicle's screen. Not only that, but Dextavious told me a couple of weeks ago that even though the seats would not be replace, the technician still fixed the leather near the latch on the second row seats. Unfortunately it was not done, not even an attempt. Also, I still hear engine noise upon a Cold Start. And last but not least, I observed moisture in my driver side headlight housing. I have driven the vehicle in rain and never observed this before. And my vehicle is garage kept. To avoid getting angry all over again, I will conclude. My vehicle was in a Lincoln service department for over a month and driven approximately 19 miles by service Techs, while I had to drive an inadequate rental (no Lincoln loaner) vehicle. The service department only completed three verifiable fixes on my vehicle and I am livid. My wife and I are dumbfounded at how they could have my vehicle so long, drive it as far as they did, and not resolve any core issues that were stressed over and over again. I definitely never want to bring my vehicle back to Allan Vigil dealership and regret I ever did in the first place. I have never seen such incompetence at such a high level, through every level of a service department. I am utterly dismayed and extremely disappointed. I need this to be resolved as soon as possible. I have paid two vehicle loan payments and two insurance payments for a vehicle I have not been able to use! I need to be reimbursed appropriately. Had my Ford Expediton towed to Allen Vigil Ford. Told them my Engine was blown. Ask for an estimate to replace or rebuild. took 2 days to get an estimate. I purchased a new vehicle instead. when I had the tow company go get my vehichle, they called and said Ford would not release, they were told I owed them a $135.00 diagnostic fee. All I asked for was an estimate. What a bunch of crooks!!!!! Had to pay the fee for them to release my car to the tow company. This is how they treat people. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!! This was also stated in our contract signed by myself and the dealership. They tried to "update" it behind my back until I went in and showed the original contract. I would give 0 stars if I could. It's now January 13, 2022 and my *new* 2020 vehicle which has 15,000 miles STILL hasn't been diagnosed even though I was told it would be 48 hours. My Ford Mustang had a recall on their airbag. My sensor light came on which reminded me to take it in for the recall work. Was called Wednesday to let me know the car was done. Arrived Thursday, Mike the SA said that the recall isn't why the sensor light is on and they would have to do a diagnostic test to find out why the light was on... so nobody thought to look at this while you had my car?? Mike's response was that he just read the notes- my response was then " How did you know my car was ready if you didn't read the paperwork?" Needless to say I now have to pay someone else to do the correct job since they didnt bother checking to see what was wrong with my airbags while they were working ON MY AIRBAGS even though this should be covered under the recall!!! The manager will be hearing about this. At check time at the cashier's desk, I was told the price was $53.68. I said WHAT? Are you sure that's the correct price? I was told yes and that the prices had gone up in September of last year. Well that was enough for me. Today will be the last time I ever get an oil change from Alan Vigil Ford. What a rip off. You can get this same oil change at independent oil change places for around $30.00 - 35.00. When I tried to use my Owner Advantage Awards to offset the cost, I was told I could not use them because their awards program had changed to a FordPass Rewards program. And as a side note, I was planning on buying a new truck from this place this coming spring, but not now. I am not going to pay $53.00 plus dollars every time I need an oil change. He says they've been having an issue with people booking appointments and it not showing up on their system.. I am currently in the middle of a nightmare. Around 6 months ago i purchased a remanufactured engine through alan vigil in morrow for my 2012 mustang gt. I paid $5400 for the engine and another 1500 for my mechanic to do the install. My replacment took atleast 6 weeks to be shipped to my mechanic, he installed it and not even 10 miles of test driving the car the engine failed because it wasnt built properly by whoever they are getting these engines from. It was a big inconvenience to me because im without a car during this process but i understand mistakes happen so i didnt put up much of a fight about it. Then they informed me that my second replacement wouldnt show up for another 8 weeks which is absolutley ridiculous in my opinion but i didnt say anything and i just patiently waited. After about 9 weeks my second replacement finally showed up, my mechanic did the install and i picked my car up on a thursday and by saturday of the same week and about 120 miles on the new engine it started knocking and failed. The failure was caused by once again someone where these remanufactured engines are coming from made another mistake and caused it to fail. We called ford and let them know and all they said tgey were able to do is order another engine and it wouldnt be here for another 8 weeks. All this is taking place right in the middle of the holiday season so im without a vehicle during hallowween, thanksgiving, christmas, new years because of these mistakes. Ive called and spoke with a manager at alan vigil and he basically told me that they are not liable for all this inconvenience and all they are obligated to do is just replace the engine and thats it. During this 6 month nightmare Nobody has tried to reach out to me and try to help me in this situation at all and im very disappointed about this because i am a die hard Ford fan and expected much better customer service than the none at all i have recieved. So now im just waoting on the third replacment in 6 months and there is no guarantee that this engine is built right either and i have no reason to believe it will be. At this point i believe they should take the money i paid for this obviosly sub par product and put it towards a factory built crate engine built by ford and they eat the remaining cost because i have clearly been done wrong in this whole deal. I first came in a week earlier and received extremely poor attention from the service writers. How poor, since that is a subjective term? I left to take my vehicle to another dealership for service, swearing to never darken the doors of this one again. However, while en route to the other dealership, my AC began to work again and I decided to disregard Ford and continue with my planned day. Now comes this visit, one week after the initial trouble with my AC. IT went out again and I immediately went to Vigil Ford to get it checked. This time a service writer I have worked with before (Alex) was there. He got right to it and gave me the service I am accustomed too and more.
