Truck wouldn't crank up. Service was very informative and professional. The help was over the phone.

Vehicle: 2006 Chrysler 300 SRT-8 w/Volant cold air intake and DiabloSport trinity t1000 programmer…read more(very nice luxury and performance vehicle) I attempted to hire the wreaked service the night of Monday July 7, 2014 to no avail and which i was told by the driver they tried to call back and could not reach due to not having the correct number. I called them again on Tuesday July 8, 2014 after seeing their A+ rating on the BBB and the strong recommendation of a close friend. The driver called me 2 hours after my initial call to inform me he would be arriving within 20-30 minutes. I cleared the driveway with my brother and once we completed he was arriving. I flagged him down as he was approaching and he parked in front of the vehicle to be towed. He inquired as to where the car was going, and how payment would be covered while informing me that the service would cost approx. $95 in cash. I informed him that the repair shop would write a check to cover expenses upon delivery and he accepted those terms. The driver being a skinny blonde Caucasian male around 5'7" then proceeded to lift the front bumper that received damage and pried it between the frame and headlights to keep it off the ground for pick up. As he started to engage the bed of his tow truck the bumper, that he had just moved, fell back to the ground. The driver made no further attempt to reposition the truck bed or bumper that still had components (i.e. fog lights, headlamp washers, wiring, bulbs, etc.) affixed to it. The driver then proceeded to lower the bed into the actually bumper further damaging the bumper, damaging the engine shield and it's components, and several other parts on the vehicle's front end and well as scraping the driveway on the other side of the vehicle. I looked on in horror with my brother unable to speak. I heard loud cracking and breaking and noticed new fluids leaking that were not previously leaking. The driver then lowers the wire to secure the tire with the chain and pull it with the wire. After hooking up the car to the wire the driver asked me for my key. I tossed the driver the key and continued to speak quietly with my brother about the complete lack of regard the driver was displaying for my vehicle. After realizing several minutes had passed, I walked up to the driver that was sitting in my car. I noticed that he has taken the top off of the gear selector to access the gearbox to force it into neutral. I asked, "What are you doing?" He replied saying " the battery's dead, I gotta put it in neutral to pull it on the truck." I responded politely " well do you mind if we jump the battery cause I don't want you to mess anything up in there?" He said, "sure" and without saying another word disconnected my vehicle from the tow truck and jumped in the truck and drove away. I took chase on foot catching up to the door to ask where he was going and he shrugged his shoulders and left. I called the office to report the incident to the business. They listened to the issue and said they would return my call after they follow up with the driver. While on the phone with Clayton County P.D. (case # 14039256) the business returned my call and informed me that they were unwilling to cover the damages or offer services due to the fact the vehicle had prior damage and they could not confirm the damage caused by their driver (but I have pre-incident pictures from the adjuster and after incident pictures from myself). They also stated that the driver said, " he was coming over there to help and you came out raising sand, so he left." I informed him that I would be making a police report and taking the necessary steps to resolve this matter and he instructed me to "do what you got to do." I have not heard anything further from the business and am left to pick up the pieces, literally.

I will use them for now on, they have the equipment to tow just about anything. They do work for the local law enforcement agencies so if ya call and theyre busy thats why. Just give em a call and they will help you with your needs in towing.

I dropped my son's car off here on June 27 for AC repair. I received a call on June 28 detailing…read morethe results of the diagnostic, cost of repair and an estimate of five days for the service to be completed. After nearly a month, I finally got a call stating the AC had been repaired. Over the course of the time that the shop had the car, no one reached out to give us updates. When we called or stopped by there was always an excuse as to why the repair wasn't completed. When I went to pick up the car today, the total amount for the repairs was more than $200 higher than the cost discussed in the June 28th call. Additionally, my son's car had an excess of 150 miles on the odometer. I understand driving the car to verify the repairs are completed but this number of miles is excessive. We dropped the car off with 1/2 tank of gas. The shop claimed they had to put gas in the car and charged us an additional $30. However, when we got into the car there was only 1/4 tank of gas. After all of this, we get into the car which is filthy (dirt all over the floor and it smells) to get the car home and all of the coolant is pouring out on our driveway. This is horrible service all the way around...$4000 later and my AC repair issue is still an issue. I will never refer anyone to this shop!

I have the following complaints against Auto Air South regarding the car AC repair they performed on my vehicle (I paid $1332.98): -- A remanufactured air conditioning (AC) compressor (at most 78% new) was installed instead of the new part that was agreed upon. -- The part was sourced from Autozone. I was told the part would be sourced from Global Parts Distributors (GPD) in Macon, GA. -- The remanufactured AC compressor pulley started to "seize up" within days of installation, requiring the AC compressor to be replaced. -- Auto Air South (AAS) stated that the repair could not be completed as contracted or redone because they were unable to locate a new AC compressor. AAS offered to redo the repair with a remanufactured AC compressor. AAS did not agree to a refund of parts and labor. I have since had the vehicle inspected by another mechanic and a new AC compressor installed. In the course of this, the mechanic noticed that Auto Air South had made the following errors when repairing the vehicle AC system: -- No oil in the remanufactured AC compressor that was installed by AAS. (It is possible that this is the reason why the installed AC compressor pulley seized up within days of installation, causing the AC system to fail.) --O-ring on drier not installed properly, causing Freon (refrigerant) to leak. Only 0.72 lb of Freon left in an AC system that requires 2 lb of Freon according to the manufacturer. --Improper installation of expansion valve, resulting in leak of condensation water into passenger-side interior, damaging the floor. The magistrate judge awarded me the full value of the repair in court.

I told him my ZX14R skips at around 6,000 rpm since the lowering kit broke when I hit a pothole. The controller wires inside the tailpiece got abrasions when the tire wore through the plastic rear fender. He said he's experienced that before, and it's always trash in the fuel pump. After a day, he calls to say the fuel pump needs to be replaced. Then he calls again the next day to say that the gas tank has a lot of debris and should have a thorough rust removal and cleaning. That takes days to dry out. OMG, the price keeps going up but in for a penny in for a pound. After a few days, he calls to say it's ready. I ask if the test drove it, and he says he can't ride it that fast. I will have to come and pick it up and test it myself. Long drive to Conyers. At only 55 mph, it still skips as before, and I've been too trusting and paid for nothing. When I call and tell him he says it's an electrical problem and he's not that good with electrical issues and I should take it somewhere else. DUAH!!! I told you that it was an electrical problem when I brought it to you. I still have the same problem after you made over $300. For all I know, you just kept my bike in your garage for a week and did nothing to it. I want a refund. He doesn't want to give me a refund because of all the work he did. BULL SHIRT !!! You did busy work because of an overconfident yet mistaken diagnosis that I told you about in the first place. It ended without going to court or jail when I accepted a partial refund minus the price of an unneeded fuel pump. In summary, recognize the red flags and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
