Truly shocking experience here today. I came in for a routine yearly checkup - bp, basic labs, etc. I needed to confirm the basics are ok, that nothing has changed, etc to inform my specialist's treatment plan. I also noted on my intake that I had no concerns and no treatment was needed from the AllCare provider. Just the checkup. I noticed at the check in desk that the receptionist continued asking for my 'reason for the visit', 'primary concern', 'anything I wanted to discuss with the provider'. This was connected to the very small waiting room, and another patient was in line right behind me. At a minimum, this is annoying after providing that info TWICE on the intake paperwork when I booked and confirmed the appt, but that repetition happens everywhere sadly. However, it's also a HIPAA violation, asking for that info in clear earshot of other patients. I let it go figuring it may be due to them having both urgent care and primary care there. I waited until past my appt time only for the receptionist to come into the tiny waiting room in full earshot of the other patient and explain "the provider told me to let you know she doesn't prescribe (diagnosis stated) medication so...". I said I do not need medication, and I made that clear on my intake paperwork. I also told her this is not ok to discuss any PHI or diagnosis or treatment in a public area with other patients. She really didn't seem to understand this was wrong and told me she was just doing her job, that the provider is the one who told her to come out to the waiting room and tell me that in those words. Not only was it irrelevant given my reason for the visit, it was shocking that it wasn't just a young receptionist's mistake. The provider could and should have taken me back to ask any clarifying questions involving my concerns and her scope of practice. As the child of someone who worked for many years in a medical setting, I was taken aback. I've also worked in private practices, and this is completely unprofessional. Maybe most don't know the real meaning of HIPAA anymore, but know this- a waiting room must protect patient privacy by limiting incidental disclosures of Protected Health Information (PHI) to the "minimum necessary". They cannot disclose sensitive details like diagnoses. Really disappointing after wasting my very limited free time to get there just to have my privacy violated and then have to explain to someone how to do their job correctly. Only to be met with "I'm sorry I rubbed you the wrong way". Please know I was shocked but as kind as possible throughout this interaction. That response just tells me this is common practice there and will happen again. I chose to leave without completing the appt because I had zero reason to feel comfortable or to spend my money there at that point. I'll be filing a federal complaint. Do not go here until this has been addressed. Do not see Evelyn Larson NP at any other locations because apparently she's the one who instructed the receptionist to do this. read more

I am extremely disappointed. This location was friendly, professional, and it's evident that the people here truly care for their patients -- however, the billing department is trying to charge me for services that were never rendered. When I called to report the issue, the person who answered the phone (someone named Mark) tried to talk over me and was extremely rude. This is the 3rd time I've had to deal with this from All care. The greed shown by this organization attempting to steal money from sick and vulnerable is disgusting. read more

My review has to do with their billing protocols. I visited on a Friday afternoon after work. I thought it was cool that the facility had convenient hours for those who are not available during the work day. But I received a big bill and those charges included a charge for being seen after 5 and/or the weekend. That's really not cool. If you are open during these hours, don't charge extra fees because you serviced during those hours. I paid the bill but won't be back because that's lack of integrity. This is the worst facility to deal with. My husband requested the release of his medical records over ten days ago. We went into the buckhead office and filled out the release form. The receptionist lied to us and stated that she will send the request to the third party company MediCopy. As of today MediCopy has not received the request and my husband still doesn't have his medical records. Kaiser sent it to us in 3 business days.Their business practice is the worst we ever experience. read more

Kind people but major major medical issue missed that has taken me out of the work force. Currently being treated by a team of neurologists, rheumatologists and speech therapists steering me towards cognition focused vocational rehab. My issues were attributed to an OCD diagnosis I got at 6 that has been well managed for more than 20 years. The pain I deal with currently is horrific and it was completely dismissed. I am told there is likely damage to the energy producing apparatus in my cells. I would recommend not seeing the doctor if this is your only option. They may delay proper care and make you much much sicker read more

So first let me say I'm someone who hates Dr.Visits and interactions. When I say my visit with Dr. Melvin Williams was the best interaction I ever had with any DR in my life I mean it, from bedside care, knowledge, professionalism, kindness. He is the Doctor you want as your PCP. He made me feel comfortable and safe. I feel like I've known him for years which is really important when it comes to your health. The nursing staff was very nice also and they were professional and kind also. I didn't have to wait long at all. I'm glad I made Dr. Williams my PCP. read more

I feel weird reviewing an Urgent Care/doctors office but here goes. I was looking for a convenient PCP and found AllCare. My doctor is awesome! He takes his time and answers all questions without rushing on to the next patient in line. Scheduling appointments online is SUPER convenient and all of the staff is friendly and helpful. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE, they will run tests/do extra stuff just to charge your insurance and they will not tell you on the front end. Went in during August just to get a refill on my prescription, they made me do a drug screen for no reason, then I was charged over $500 for it when they never even needed to in the first place. Outside of them running insurance scams, I've never been treated so poorly in a doctors office my whole life. The Doctor Ramin Sadeghi was EXTREMELY offensive and condescending, multiple times aggressively alluding that I may be a "drug addict" making me very very uncomfortable during the visit. Also the Asian Lady working as a nurse was borderline screaming at me when I asked when I could pick up my prescription, also alluding to accusing me of being a drug addict in front of multiple people, even going as far as muttering (not quietly) "ugh You people...", again EXTREMELY uncomfortable and offensive. I went to my appointment after work (I was wearing a nice suit and tie and was acting very calmy and polite despite being treated so poorly as a customer but most importantly a PATIENT) so I don't know how they think it's ok to act like that, but there are plenty of other places like this in the area, do yourself a favor and save yourself from the horrible experience and financial risk of going to these SKETCHY "doctors" office. I was exactly 13 minutes late to my appointment today. AllCare permits a 15 minute grace period. The receptionist commented as I entered, "Oh! You're here. I was just about to cancel your appointment. We have a 15 minute window..." I replied something about traffic. She said, "Well, you should have left home sooner." Then stood up and announced she was going to get her office manager. He arrived, acknowledged that I was now 18 minutes late. I said, "Yes. That's the time now. I arrived within the 15 minute window, however..." The receptionist jumped in, got on the computer, hit a few keys and said, "You'll have to reschedule at this point." Suffice it to say, I am not proud of what followed. I was furious. Understandably. I needed 90 seconds of a doctor's attention to renew a prescription for anti-depressant/anxiety medication that the office would not renew unless I came in. So I came in - which required a day off of work. Then -- 13 minutes late and they're canceling my appointment. So my brain chemistry is dangerously off kilter and I am being told I cannot see the doctor. NEVER EVER EVER go to ALLCARE in Buckhead. I wish I had the name of the receptionist. Beware of All Care. They are rude, below healthcare standards, unprofessional and disconcerting. I am a cancer patient and disabled. This year switched to United Healthcare. On my United Healthcare statement, I was assigned Dr. Lamp at All Care as my primary care internal medical physician. Since I am scheduled for major surgery in June 2023 , I needed a referral from All Care asap. Contacted the All Care scheduler and she was boarder line rude. The staff worker suggested that I go online and schedule my own appointment with Dr. Lamp. Made my appointment and uploaded my insurance information. The All Care scheduler contacted me and stated I had to make a in-person visit and not a virtual appointment although I just needed a referral because it was my first visit; I changed the appointment. When I arrived at the All Care site on Memorial Drive on an early Sunday morning, I was informed they did not accept my insurance. Please note, my insurance information with United Healthcare was uploaded the week prior my visit. What a waste of time! One of the staff members stated that I could be seen by Dr. Lamp but would receive an astronomical bill and she also stated that I should have contacted their office after dealing with their scheduler. (Who does that?) Calmly asked for the corporate office and was given the regional manager, Mr. Davis. Contacted Mr. Davis and asked for the corporate office number. Mr. Davis was rude and even raised his voice to reprimand me for me explaining my occurrences involving his company. I felt like a child and never received corporate's number. For over 30 years, I have been a resident of Atlanta and never received such poor treatment from any medical facility. All Care Medical is very unprofessional , totally unorganized and extremely ghetto. Do not waste your time because they really do not care. read more

The WORST health care experience. I show up to my 8 AM appointment, 45 minutes later I still haven't been seen and I'm the only one in the waiting room. The MAs then debate if they accept my insurance but finally said that they do and told me to go back and see the doctor. The doctor I originally was scheduled to see apparently wasn't there and so a random non-MD doctor showed up and they're not in my network so now I'm getting charged $900+ for an appointment. Please avoid this place at all cost and save yourself the trauma. First off, I went in for my yearly physical and they didn't have any arm rests on their chair when they started to draw my blood, they kept the tourniquet on my arm for a full 6 minutes and they wiggled the needle around and wondered why no blood was coming out (they had the tourniquet on for an excessive amount of time and blamed their lack of phlebotomy skills on me being dehydrated) at this point my arm started to turn purple and I passed out, falling out of the chair (I'm glad that the least they could do was catch my unconscious body) they gave up on drawing blood from my arm but for some reason they went and poked my hand to go for blood. I should have left as soon as I felt uncomfortable. I don't believe I'll ever return to this location ever again (I wonder how this place is still in business because it's got malpractice written all over the place.) read more

My wife was trying to get me help with depression so we drove almost 2 hours through Atlanta traffic from Northeast Georgia only to get there and them charge us $133 for the same name and phone number of a doctor I just previously seen. I told him I had already been there and he gave us the number anyway and charged us $133 for it. I might have spent 7-10 minutes with the doctor and there was no exam and hardly any conversation. he printed me the name and phone number to a doctor I had already seen and charged me $133 and said he was done... I had a full physical today at AllCare (on a Saturday). They were awesome. I am still surprised that the nurse that drew my blood caused no pain lol. I saw Dr. Lindsay Young & she was awesome. I've been using this office for covid testing since they were in network with my insurance. Same thing with my husband. They have sent me a bill for over $200 and sent a bill for over $200 and claimed insurance no longer covers covid related expenses. I told the billing department that I was never informed of this. Booked an appointment online and indicated that I had cough, chills, sore throat, and body aches. Turned up and was told that they would not see patients with respiratory symptoms inside and it would be a telemedicine visit from the parking lot. Talked to Wanamaker for 5 min and he eventually sent a medical assistant out for a flu and strep test. Then called to say tests were negative and to take Tylenol. Sorry you went to med school and part of your training involves laying on of hands. Sorry that there's a pandemic but you don't get to selectively choose when to practice. They were not only unhelpful, but they mislead us and created a less efficient and more wasteful journey for us to take to have our problem resolved. We called to confirm that the urgent care (as titled on Apple maps and their website) took our insurance. We asked if they were busy and said we needed to take our 4 year old in for some glue/stitches for a small cut on her forehead. We were told they took our insurance and they weren't busy and to come right in. Upon arrival we were informed that this is NOT an urgent care and we would have to pay an office visit copay. We obliged as we still assumed our daughters needs would be taken care of. When the doctor saw us he said my daughter needed a head scan and to go to the ER for stitches because they were I'll equipped (no numbing cream) to give a child stitches. So they accepted us as a patient, knowing our needs, and knowing they were ill equipped and would have to send us somewhere else. The ER was fairly annoyed that we were there when our needs would have been easily taken care of in an office, urgent care or not. We were annoyed too. We did not need to take up space in an ER for this, and we did not need to waste an additional 4 hours of our day for it either (after the 2 we wasted in AllCare). Oh and a head scan was not even necessary, probably just to cover the doctor's butt as he sent us away. We even called the office to see if they would reimburse us for the copay, since they could t give us back our time or take back the unhelpful information, but they didn't even try to take responsibility or repair the situation. read more

booked online last Monday for Sunday 17 th 10 am with doctor Kline. I travelled on a Sunday to the ALL care Atlanta location. I find 2 young women, not wearing masks, telling me that everything is computerized and that my appointment is a mistake of the headquarter. They do not receive one on one unless it is urinary tracts infections! I have moved to Atlanta recently and wanted to meet with a caring doctor. I picked this location for Dr Kline specialised in woman health and wellness. Let me tell you that ALL care does not represents all the doctor interests. Being all care starts at the desks! Not once they looked at me in the eyes to say we are sorry, let s reschedule a televisit or else I understand we live difficult times but decency and cortesy are not overrated still. If course the bloody system and office was good at taking my payments and insurance. The sermon of hypocrites. I am schoked, I do not know if the doctors are complicite? Are all these offices only there to make money and do not care about patients, their lives . I do not care about some sorry letter anymore. The only thing I did not really enjoy was I felt like one of my concerns wasn't addressed (first time going there so I can somewhat understand) and they run a LOT of tests, so unless you have pretty good insurance, you might want to consider going somewhere else. read more

Stay FAR away from this place! It's janky and Dr. Melvin Williams was unprofessional. First off, they told me I had to take a COVID test before I came in. So I took a at home Covid test because the young receptionist told me that was acceptable. Then I get there and they tell me I have to wait in my car so the doctor could ask me some questions to see if he'd be okay with seeing me. Then the young receptionist calls me and says the Doctor said "He's not comfortable seeing you today but what we can do is give you a PCR test and you can just come back tomorrow." What kind of doctor turns ppl away??? I tested negative for COVID but I wouldn't want a person like that as my primary doctor. All I needed was an antibiotic and some blood work. The service I receive there is excellent the staff is great an my physician takes the time I need to have things explained to me. After coming back from Vegas my throat was swollen so I was scared I had caught Strep throat from someone..I knew I needed to see a doctor ASAP So I was on yelp looking for a high rating urgent care to visit, gave this place a call for quotes since I'm self-pay. From the moment I called, the receptionist gave me great directions how to get here! She was such a pleasant lady to work with. The nurse and Dr. Young made me feel so comfortable & were very informative. The Doctor swabbed my throat (with care) lol and it came back negative. Gave me a steroid shot in the hip and by the next day I felt back to myself 100%. This is a follow up. I had a very bad experience with this medical office last week. The office manager contacted me in response to my review, agreed to refund the office visit (I pay out of pocket), and gave me a complimentary visit with another doctor. I hesitated to work with Allcare again, but I accepted. I met with Dr. Williams the following day and he was very thorough, patient with my questions, and kind. I thought this office had redeemed itself. Wrong. This morning I received a message through Allcare's portal that I had an outstanding balance. I called the billing department and indicated that my balance should be zero because my last visit was complimentary. I had to explain at least three times before she agreed to speak with someone else to confirm their error in billing me. When she came back on the line, it was explained that there was a "coding error" which led to the bill and it would be corrected. She apologized and I once again thought this office was still worth keeping for my medical care. Wrong again. Dr. Williams had prescribed a sleeping medication for me because I suffer from very bad insomnia. However, the medicine he prescribed made my insomnia worse but that happens. I called the office again very early this morning to leave a message for Dr. Williams about the medication and asked for a call back. I was told he would contact me. I did not receive a call back by 5pm, so I reached out to the office once more to ask if the doctor could call me about the medication he previously prescribed. I was told that he had already sent another prescription to my pharmacist. No one had bothered to even call to let me know the new prescription had been sent. I then asked about the medication he had prescribed. Once told, I asked that the doctor or a nurse call me because I was concerned about that particular medication. I was told if I had a question about the new medicine I would have to schedule a new appointment. Ridiculous. I told the young woman I just had one question and did not think I should have to pay $133 to see the doctor again just to ask it. I was told, "Well, that's how we do things here." Okay. I really like Dr. Williams--he's a great physician. However, please read the reviews of this place and believe what the majority of people have said about services at Allcare. I have never dealt with a medical office that was so unprofessional and lacking when it comes to consistent client care. read more

I'm super disappointed.... woke up at 9am, made an appointment for a 2pm Drive-they covid test. Got a text message to click on link to talk to a teledoc after registering. Awesome! Nope... click on link and it said , I gotta wait 15 minutes prior to my appointment. Ok...so I called the office 30 minutes prior to the appointment just to confirm about the procedures. The Receptionist told me that I had to talk to a tele-doc prior to the appointment and they stopped doing Drive thu covid testing today. What!!?? I booked an appointment and did as you said, talk to Doc 15 minutes prior to appointment. Now you're telling me I had to talk to the Doctor hours prior to my appointment? How come no Doctor, nurse, or receptionist reached out to me hours before my appointment? Why do I have to hear about it 30 minutes prior to my appointment, that you stopped doing the drive thru test and that I had to talk to a providers hours before my appointment? Online med appt was fine. No immediate covid tests avail. Dr set up time for my covid test the next morning. I was there early. The nurses were running late - ok, that happens. But evidently they forgot to put my name on the vial. I found out 24 hours later that I had to retake the test the next day. So what could have been an easy/immediate covid test has turned into 6 days ... on top of that, the info you put into their initiation form doesnt populate their system. So they may/may not have your phone and email, even if you supply it. I wouldnt have known any of this if I hadnt called them to inquire. I know times are tough. But this was a frustrating experience when I dont feel well to begin with. read more
