This week we returned from out of state to find our fifteen+ year-old water heater leaking water. A late night phone to GL Plumbing, and THE NEXT morning at 9:00 they were here. I got a detailed explanation of what needed to be done, issues that needed correction, and an accurate price quote. Two hours later the installation was complete. The final cost matched the estimate to the penny, and we had hot water again. Can't recommend GL Plumbing too highly. Five STARS!!!!!!

I've hung onto this postcard & today 07/15/26 My Daughter accidentally flushed a sanitary napkin down the toilet and I was not able to retrieve it that caused my toilet to be plugged. I pulled out that postcard and called Bob the Plumber, Karen was very friendly taking my call and let me know they would send somebody same day I was relieved. James showed up almost right away was very respectful & friendly. He got to it right away & was done before I knew it! Toilet back to normal & sanitary pad was retrieved to. He did have to adjust his appointment window a little bit but I didn't mind because he let me know promptly and showed up in the new window. He fixed the leak, adjusted my shower knob and kitchen sink faucet which were very loose. I asked him about my poor water flow and he checked those out and made more adjustments. It was great that he gave me some tips to help minimize my need for a plumber in the future. When a business does that, I really can't ask for more. I am a bit of a handyman myself and it seemed like he really knew what he was doing the whole time. I also liked that he was the guy who took my call and also came to do all the work. That is priceless in this day and age. Very pleased overall.

When I asked if paying cash would change the price, he then said $2,100 is the cash price, and paying by credit card adds 4%. This was not mentioned initially, which felt misleading. When I questioned this, he said: "I'm not rejecting you. Anyone who insults me with dishonesty doesn't deserve my services. I pride myself on honesty and transparency. I treat all my customers with respect and kindness. I am one of the kindest contractors you will come across. But for you to question my honesty is an insult." Transparency and clear communication are essential in good business practice. Any professional contractor should state upfront: "$2,100 cash, +4% if paying by card." Because the full picture wasn't communicated when it mattered, it's understandable that I felt the situation was not handled honestly.
