    Long lines and only one employee wow!

    I understand the amazing low prices Allegiant has however, this should not produce low customer service. I had a 6:00am flight from Grand Rapids, Mi (GRR) to Orlando/Sanford Airport (SFB). I was traveling with my 4 year old granddaughter and we arrived at the airport 4:30am, plenty of time to check in and get to our gate. (I could not checkin online and pay for my luggage so I arrived early to take care of that part). However, when we arrived there was a massive line wrapped around the stanchions ending near the airport's doors leading outside. While standing in line I noticed there was just one agent working the desk. Eeeeekkkkk.....we waited and waited and waited until finally, someone bold enough walked to the front of the line and told the agent that her flight leaves for SFB in 30 minutes! She finally said, "Anyone who is going to Orlando/Sanford please come to the front of the line". Approximately half of the customers raised their hands and proceeded to the front. (She almost caused a stampede!) It's finally my turn to check in. I explained I could not check in online last night therefore I need to pay for one check on luggage. Needless to say she was stressed and "upset" that I had an extra step to take in this checkin process because of the line of upset faces staring at her from behind me, but what was I to do. She says, "This will cost you $50 and I'm not sure if your luggage will make this flight" and she tags it with a yellow "Late Checkin" tag as if this was somehow my fault. Anywhoooo, to wrap this fiasco up, Allegiant had my 4 year old granddaughter in a window seat sitting next to an older man IN A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT ROW THAN MYSELF!!! (Yes I'm yelling) It's amazing to me because she saw this seating arrangement when we checked in but instead of taking care of this issue first, she focused on my luggage to ensure I coughed up that $50!!! We get on board, I inform the wonderful flight attendant who switched us to an empty row because get this.....the plane was more than 50% empty!!! Empty rows everywhere and she couldn't switch us! In conclusion, the plane took off 30 minutes late because there was only ONE agent checking people in and the ole saying, "You get what you pay for" comes to mind.

    GRR- PHX took Their Plane One Way To Mesa International Airport which was Nice because I never Flew with Allegiant Before, GRR Is A nice little Airport nothing like DTW less people. Allegiant's planes are pretty big as In long, Anyway Everything went Smooth With Check-In and getting to The Plane, very Nice Flight Flight Attendants were nice well one was Not, She was giving my Sister A really Hard Time. This Lady who was A passenger kept on trying to shove her Huge suitcase In the overhead And A Flight Attendant tried to help her till she finally Had the the lady pay for It. But the Seats were Very clean Plane Looked good as New , My brother and I had A row to Are Selfs along with Our Dad and Sister behind Us. The Only Issue was that This Little Girl Kept Crying and Screaming the whole Flight Basically was Very Annoying made Me wish to bring Headphones, Another Passenger Passed out so the Flight Attendants had to look after him which of course was perfectly fine, good News Is that He walked off the plane as If nothing happened. The Landing was Nice and they Have A very Pretty Flight Attendant I might Add. We got off the plane and waited For My Grandpa to come get us, Now this Airline although I only Give it Four Stars and If you read You can Understand why, I surely Hope they don't Start Charging for Everything Because That's what I had heard, lucky for me And Family We got away with Our Carry-On, they do however have only Non-Stop flights

    Easy leaving asheville and flying in....watch out for those hidden fees! They were 3times the amount of my actual plane ticket.

    Absolutely horrible they have 1 lady taking bags and is super super slow. No way we're gonna make this flight. This is totally unacceptable

    Why won't Allegiant answer the phone? Their website says they wouldn't apply a change fee, but when trying to cancel, a change fee is applied. Trying to connect with a live agent, but the # listed on their website just gives a busy tone, for days

High top seating, seating with tables, desk like seating, armchair and sofa like seating, swivel executive chairs... truly something for everyone. Loved the (very green) children's play area! Loved that there was a Sensory Room to support travelers sensitive to stimulants (and airports is anything more overwhelming then an airport?). From the website: "The Sensory Room is intended to provide a therapeutic setting that helps individuals feel comfortable in their surroundings. The space is designed to minimize overstimulation and provide a calm and inclusive environment for individuals of all ages with cognitive and/or development disabilities." Loved the not one, not two, but THREE Farmers Fridges. GRR doesn't have many vegan options, so having these reliable vending machines changes everything. If one is out of what you're looking for (like the Napa Chickpea Wrap which is my faaaaaaaasve), try the other fridges! Because... The airport is super walkable! Comprised of Concourse A and Concourse B, with just fourteen gates, you can explore the whole thing in a half hour or so. Also, for such a small airport, there are SO MANY BATHROOMS. Never a wait anywhere for a bathroom or a water bottle refill station. All in all, this was a pleasant airport to fly in/fly out of!

It was extremely clean, not overly crowded, easy to navigate, helpful staffers and really good local Madcap coffee. The rental car terminal is right across from main terminal and very easy to get in and out of. It is also less expensive than flying in/out of Traverse City. Tip: If you have time while in Grand Rapids, check out Frederik Meijer Gardens. It is only about 20 mins from the airport.

Not the tiniest aircraft by a medium-sized chalk. For you folks who are having problems with your flight, did you buy the insurance? Did you purchase your ticket with a credit card that has trip interruption coverage? Yeah, well do that next time and you'll have a lot less headache. And when you do have a problem, don't just stand in line. Call Delta 800-221-1212 while you're standing in line so that when you do get through to someone, they can help you just as much as the folks here in the airport! Luggage arrived swiftly at baggage claim. Checking baggage for my return was also easy with a polite agent at the ticket counter and a dedicated queue for Sky Priority. Boarding was done the proper way, though I did notice that one agent let the First Class and Diamonds go before the active duty military. It's supposed to be "pre-boarding" of people needing assistance, then active duty military, then first class and Diamonds, then parents with small children, then Sky Priority. They do not have their crop together. Last week had a delayed flight that stranded me in Chicago. The reason for the delay was catering. My bag was lost on my flight in Friday morning and I did not get it back until 5pm on Sunday. This week, they can not get my reservation correct. It's split on AA and US Airways. I go to AA.COM to check in and it rerouted me to usairways for check in. Once there, it routed me back to AA.COM for check in. I could not get my seats selected, nor could I get my boarding passes. I added my Known traveler number to my reservation at booking, tried double checking online, no luck. I called the reservations number and they assured me it was on the reservation. When I get to the airport, the agent said it was not on the reservation. I asked the agent to add it to my reservation, he said he did not know how. I asked him to ask one of the other agents for help and he said he couldn't ask them. The agent then told me that he couldn't give me all of my boarding passes since it wasn't an AA reservation, but a US airways reservation. I said I have a rather close connection, that's a huge inconvenience. The agents response was, yes, it hasn't been a seamless merger. I told him no, it's been anything but and is messing with people's lives. He said, I don't know what to tell you. I will be doing everything in my power to avoid this disorganized and horrible airline for my future travels.

The carousel kept spinning but the belt stopped and her bag was not there. My mother and I rushed over to the United counter because we needed to report the loss and hurry to get her home. She is elderly and was exhausted. Brenda, the United supervisor refused to start the process until the carousel stopped rotating. Really. I was stunned- because the carousel is turning empty you won't start it? She had a terrible attitude, slowly and deliberately even slower, she sauntered over to the carousel and grabbed a left over bag. Slowly walked or to the office and returned to the desk. Then another woman came out from behind and took us over to the office and unlocked the door. Twenty minutes later we got out of there. The girl that finally did it was kind enough but so slow. I mean SLOW!! It was ridiculous. She seemed to never have done this process before. Meanwhile, Brenda is behind the United desk doing nothing. Zero. She was incredibly rude and dismissive.
