One hour flight from Savannah to Fort Lauderdale! Exactly 1 hour! Super fast and the entire flight crew is friendly. Seats are hard but you won't be sitting long! Allegiant is good for those short flights if you don't have enough cushion to sit on...lol very reasonable too! read more

Worst airline I've ever been on. DO NOT FLY WITH THEM. They delayed our 8AM flight until 3PM because 1 flight attendant didn't want to show up to work. They thought our 7-8 hours of stolen time was worth a free breakfast meal voucher and $50 reduction on the cost of our tickets. Allegiant and all other airlines need to get their crap in order and need to stop taking advantage of consumers. I don't know how a single person could be proud to work for a company like this. Do better. If I could give -1000000 stars I would. I will never fly with allegiant again. read more

My Allegiant experience from Providence to Savannah was great. Very streamlined check in and boarding process. My checked back was handled well and showed up on the carousel right after I got off the plane. Hats off to the pilot who Must have been very experienced because we had an extremely smooth take off and landing. You almost couldn't even tell when the wheels touched down. Since I got such an amazing deal I splurged and opted for priority seating and extra leg room plus. Wow was I amazed I knew I would get extra leg room but I literally got almost three times the amount of legroom I had on my delta flight just 5 days earlier (I was also in an exit row). The only downside to allegiant is they only offer certain routes twice a week so you'll have to plan around that. Also the cabin of the aircraft is barebones and no frills. Other than that I was a great experience and I highly recommend flying into and out of Savannah with Allegiant. read more

Allegiant took off 15 minutes early from Columbus and arrived half an hour early in Savannah. The captain provided no information on why we sat waiting for the gate to open for 45 minutes. That is the kind of customer service you can expect from Allegiant. It has always been a mystery why a carrier cannot use another empty gate. read more

Let's start by say this a a no frills airline in the truest sense of the word. The wheel of my suitcase ,not only came off but left a nice size hole in my luggage. There were no representatives to be found. Eventually someone came and I gave her my information. 50 dollars for a carry on each way. 50 dollars to check your bag, each way. 5 dollars to print your boariding pass. You pay for all beverages , snacks and etc on the flight. No place to plug in your head phones, no reclining seats, and flight attendants with an edge!. A passenger fainted right next to my seat, she was given a can of juice, did they charge her for that also?. Two other passengers engaged me in conversation about their experience as well, and they were not pleased. Bottom line, we got there safely, just a different protocol than we are normally used to. They were just no frills to the fullest extent of the law. If you are in a pinch, don't think twice. Go for it, the fares are beyond reasonable. read more

Ok, Allegiant is a cheap airline that nickel and dime you. Get your boarding pass downloaded to your phone via their app or printed before you go to the airport or it will be $5 for the check-in desk to do it. Baggage is additional cost be it carry-on or checked bag. On flight, snacks will cost you so pack your own then get a drink in the airport and you'll be good. Boarding is pretty standard and organized. I did notice that the stewardess and steward were very helpful in arranging overhead bags to maximize space. In baggage claim, all went as expected too. I flew Savannah to Newark, NJ and we actually landed early. Deplaning was organized and timely. No complaints because I know what to expect. read more

I have no complaints about my Allegiant experience. I booked my trip online and downloaded their app. Check in was fast and friendly. They simply get you where you want to go, no frills, that is why the fares are low. If you want to complain about it not being better, then pay for the more expensive airlines. I'm disappointed in the customer service I received from This airline. In order to switch a name on a ticket, it cost as much as the flight itself. After waiting for over 30 minutes, the woman on the phone was extremely rude with me when I asked questions about this policy. I repeatedly told her I understood that she did not make the policy but I could not understand the reasoning behind charging as much is a plane ticket to change the name. She continued to repeat the same line over and over, and I was given no answer as to why a company charges as much as a flight to simply change the name. Changing a flight or destination I understand - but a name for 150$ makes no sense. read more

I just recently landed in Savannah from Nashville. I was well aware this is a budget flight which cost me about $75. The next closest I found for the same flight with another airline was $475. I did not bring a carry-on and did not bring luggage because I was traveling home from our second home. I found the plane to be in better condition than many of the small planes of other airlines. There was much more legroom than I normally have and the plane was not crowded. I would definitely use this airline again. Yes they are no-frills, but you can't drive from Nashville to Savannah for $75! Plus the flight only took a little less than an hour. I would definitely recommend this airline, but I would be certain to tell people to expect no-frills. read more

This airline was great. Very cheap price for an hour and 45 min flight..which actually only ended up being an hour and 20 mins..that left on time Thanksgiving weekend! Loved leaving from Savannah/HHI airport, it was small and not busy at all. No lines, tsa check was quick and easy. I boarded with priority access because it was only $6 more and I was able to put my luggage carry on right above me. When getting my boarding pass, I had already downloaded the app which they just scanned, so I didn't have to pay that $5 fee. I asked them if the seat next to me was still empty because I brought my small dog, it wasn't, but they moved me to a seat where there was. But right before take off, crew asked me to move over to the row next to me because there was someone in the window seat that had a service dog (can't have 2 dogs in same row). My new seat also had an empty seat next to it so I didn't mind. THEN, because they moved my seat, I got a free beverage and snack package. The flight itself was smooth and very fast. The staff was very friendly and loved up my nervous dog, which I ended up putting her carrier on my lap after take off so I could hold her close. Also, there was plenty of leg room and aisle space. Overall, it was a great experience and I will definitely fly to and from Baltimore to Savannah with Allegiant again ! Only downfall is it nearly impossible to talk to someone pre-flight. Took over a week via email, and I was on hold for 3 hours on the phone before finally getting through. read more

Flying from SAV to EWR for a few days to see my family. On the way home, we were delayed in Newark Airport for 11 hours. There was a "mechanical failure" in the engine, which they could not get fixed. We had to wait for a plane to come from Florida to "rescue" us from EWR and take us back to SAV. While we were waiting, they provided "concierge service" at the ticket counter, which included a soda if you would like one. They then gave us two $8 food vouchers (totaling $16) to get us through the 11 hour delay and a $100 voucher to use on the next flight. Let me repeat, we were delayed 11 hours. Upon our arrival to SAV, there was ANOTHER crowd of people waiting to be rescued and taken to Cincinnati, who knows what happened to their plane. Absolute disaster. read more
