They refused to correct the error. They acted as if they had no idea as to what I was saying. They also refused to honor their warranty on a pool cover that lasted one year (5 year warranty). The employees know very little about pools or the store inventory. Their Rockville store is not stocked at all. They look like they're going out of business. I refuse to return to their stores. ONCE, ONE OF THEIR PEOPLE WHO CAME TO OPEN MY POOL REFUSED TO LEAVE MY GARAGE, THREATENING VIOLENCE. I COMPLAINED. THEY BLAMED ME.

He listened to my needs and suggested products that would meet the needs. He even steered me away from products that I was interested in but in his opinion would be an overkill for me. I appreciated that feedback since I am truly a novice in this field and would have ended up buying the wrong products! Also, I appreciate him walking in and out of the store multiple times to get products for me to look at and also to process the payment, etc. Good store, and a good selection available on premise :)

Not only was he able to do that, his sons brought the exact color and tub I wanted 3 days after my purchase! It is easy to recognize that this is a family run business who cares about their customers! Greg made time to answer every question personally- I never waited on hold in a queue or was asked to press O to speak to an operator, I only spoke to Greg who is running his business well from start to finish! I'm beyond grateful that my relationship with Outdoor Leisure didn't stop at a mile marker on 95. If you are looking for a hot tub, call Greg, his vast knowledge of the quality products he has hand selected and his fantastic customer service will make you a customer for life. Thank you Greg!

Greg was supportive of zoom/FaceTime calls to get us in the right path. Customer satisfaction at its best. We were still unsure of the whole chemicals etc and that is where Drew came to our rescue/education. We came into the store in a Saturday morning and he gave a class on chemical balancing that even I could understand. We are 4 months into owning our tub and it has been the best purchase we have made. If you are thinking about getting a hot tub go see these guys. They are local hardworking honest and working to get you the right tub.

I should have believed the other reviews. If everything…read moregoes right, expect your new hot tub to be delayed by days/weeks after the promised delivery date. I was told my hot tub was "on the truck" from the factory and would be delivered within two to three weeks, with an anticipated October delivery date. Late December, after I called to cancel my order because it had still not been delivered, it was located and delivered shortly thereafter. If anything goes wrong, buckle-up. My hot tub was delivered with a leak and broken LED lights. 18 months later, with no fewer than 10 trips to my house, each trip declared "fixed!", the hot tub still leaked and several LED lights remained broken. Is it too much to ask Premium Spas to fix a leaking tub with burned-out lights? Yes, it's too much to ask. The warranty crew at Premium Spas, led by Troy, who will proudly tell you he's got 20 years of hot-tub experience, is arrogantly incompetent. The longer the unfixed leaking issue continued, the more aggravated Troy (and Charlie, the owner, and Patti, Charlie's girlfriend who answers the phones) became with me. Why wouldn't I just deal with my leaking hot tub and leave them alone? After Troy was unable to fix the tub, he told Jacuzzi it couldn't be fixed (because he couldn't fix it) and they sent a replacement tub. I was charged an additional $750 because the replacement tub (same exact model) had increased in price. My choice was to keep a leaky tub or be charged another $750 for a replacement tub. Then Premium Spas fought with me over the electrical hookup over the replacement tub, in the exact same location of the original tub, needed "a few inches" of additional electrical wire to be reconnected. Earlier today, Charlie (the owner), told me he no longer "gives a f*ck."

I purchased a $12,000 Jacuzzi J-325 hot tub from Premium Spas and Billiards in early summer. The…read moretub was to be delivered within 3 to 4 weeks. After the salesperson claimed to have ordered the incorrect tub, it finally arrived nearly three months after order. Within 3 weeks the tub began showing signs of malfunction. Eventually the damage was narrowed down to a manufacturing error. During the troubleshooting process a missing ground wire was discovered. Water and electricity are dangerous enough without proper grounding. After writing a professional complaint letter to Premium Spas and Billiards they informed me that it was not their problem to rectify even though they are the sales outlet. I was told to contact Jacuzzi directly. Premium Spas and Billiards offered "free chemicals" for compensation for the delays and the risk of my life. They never sent any "free chemicals" either. So.... time to go relax in a $12,000 death trap!

I looked it up, saw that 1 1/2" and 2" are the most common. Bought it, took it home, and it's too small. I called them to see if I could return it thinking there would be zero issue with that since I was just in there and they knew that I didn't know what size it was. Nope, they don't accept returns because they cannot return it, apparently. I guess reselling it isn't an option? And the salesperson should have informed me that it wasn't eligible for return once it was opened. Had she done that, I wouldn't have purchased it, I would have went and measured mine first. We won't be doing business with them again, ever. When local businesses stack higher prices AND poor customer service, then it's time to shop online. Update: mine is 1.5" I.D. This product states that it is for a 1.5" discharge pipe. That's obviously not the case, since it doesn't fit like it should. Based on this new evidence, a refund should be issued because the hose doesn't fit, when it should. It's no longer a case of me purchasing the wrong size now. Which still should have been eligible for a refund. Another update: When I called, the salesperson told me that it fits REALLY snug. Oh, so you're aware that this product is trash because you've dealt with this with other customers, yet you're STILL selling this garbage? Find a better product to sell, one that actually fits like it should.

I wanted a hot-tub by Christmas when looking at options in November 2020. I didn't want to overpay and I wanted specificity details with mine - small details, trust me. After extensive Google searching and talking with people I stumbled upon Capitol Hot-Tubs. I gave them a call immediately after pursuing their website and got the best salesman ever! Jason Strom, was super polite, fun, and eager to help me find my Nect hot tub for a value. Sorry to have to write a bad review. Bought the Grandee from the Fairfax store about 5 years ago,…read morehas worked great except for the cover lifter. Getting service this year has been a nightmare. I replaced the entire mechanism for ~$1200 last year. This year (in March 2026), it detached from the hot tub, rendering it unusable in the prime spring weather. - I spent the last 10 weeks trying to get someone to come out to repair it (offered to pay full price) but no reponse. - Initially spoke to someone in the service center, who told me I needed a "bracket", and that it was on backorder. - A month later (in April), I reached back out to service center to check on status. I was told the original person I spoke to was no longer with the company, and the part wasn't the issue. - I asked to speak with a manager; was told to speak to Jeff. - Left multiple messages with Jeff, but he never got back to me. -Filled out the "service form", also no response. After 10 weeks, I got fed up waiting and went the DIY route. Located YouTube instructions on how to remove the panel. Once I did that, I saw the plywood they used to re-install cover lifter last year (which bears ~150 lbs of load btw) was only 1/8" thick, which would explain why the mechanism failed. I installed a 1" board, then remounted the screws on the lifting arm and closed up the panel. Fingers crossed, this will do the trick. As mentioned, the tub works mostly as advertised; Hot Springs equipment is great. However Capital Hot Tub doesn't seem to care about customers once they've made their purchase. The whole point of paying a premium price is to avoid this kind of hassle, and not have to DIY fix your stuff on the weekend.
