The gentleman that was behind the counter was not very kind- not saying he was terribly mean, but he just wasn't into being there, it seemed. I asked for an oil change and for all my fluids to be checked (pretty standard). I had brought in a box of tire sensors and asked if they could put them in since all but one of my existing sensors were dead. He kind of popped off a little bit of a snappy comment and roughly pulled them toward him. He asked if I was staying or going while they service my car - I asked how long it would be and he said about two hours. I was there a little more than three. I understand. They were busy, but I got up when it was just a little more than two hours to check on it. I guess I feel like they could do an update with the peeps that are still in the shop. There were at least four men sitting at the counter that day. It seems like the job got done- oil changed, fluids replenished and sensors in. The other thing I am not a fan of- he never stated there would be a charge for the placement of the sensors and it ended up being $70. A full bill that would normally be about that price ($70 ish) was $180 because of fees and other line items. That feels pretty steep and I will definitely be watching YouTube next time. Part of my appeal to return to Robertson's is they help out with such things as I am sure they installed a set of sensors for me before at no charge or at least not anymore than $20.

I left it there for few hours and Meineke called me to tell me all these crazy repairs that were needed on my vehicle. Mind you, I've been taking my vehicle there for a year up to this point and not once have they mentioned that I should be aware of some maintenance that is due in the near future. I'v been to other mechanics that keep me updated on what part of my vehicle is going to be needing maintenance soon, so I can be prepared for it. I believed the Meineke advertisement that they would check my vehicle all over each time that I brought it in to be seen. Evidently, this was not happening. When I took it in most recently for this dashboard light issue, they told that they had to recently fired some mechanics because they were not doing their job. Apparently, Meineke passes on the cost to their customers for Meineke's lack of ability to hire competent mechanics. I took my vehicle to some other mechanics to make sure I wasn't being lied to since the Meineke estimate sounded absurd. All the other mechanics told me the same thing - Meineke is lying to me, making up fake repairs. Meineke's so-called repairs were going to be almost 10k. Moreover it was in much worse condition when I drove it off the Meineke lot. The front desk guy at Meineke was rude and would not let me get a word in edgewise when speaking to him over the phone. The manager was a bit better, was willing to meet me halfway about the situation, but I still took my truck to Greg's Automotive in Broken Arrow. I got much better service there! Greg's was recommended to me by a lady I work with. Greg's repairs totaled a couple thousand, which was probably so much because Meineke tore up my vehicle before I took it to Greg's I heard from a couple other ladies in the Broken Arrow area that they'd received similar treatment from Meineke (lying by making up fake repairs for astronomical fees). I sense a pattern with Meineke treating women like this on a regular basis. I still would NOT recommend anyone go to Meineke! I wasted so much time and money with this horrible place.

Ah, they also don't put anything down to keep their shoes from mucking up my car. In addition to this, I've overheard some tasteless/crude shop talk, but like, whatever. My real complaint is that they won't fix my shifter. I found these guys endorsed on the NE Oklahoma Miata Club website, but they just ghost me anytime I ask them about fixing the bushings in my shifter...? They kept telling me to call them back, and finally they said they'd call me back and, surprise! They never did. They don't know what they're doing but they won't even refer me to another shop. Really disappointed. :/

I was informed THIS TIME that I needed yet another engine and a radiator, this time I waited an entire month for them to inform me that, oh yeah, the REAL real problem is that my ENGINE fan failed and that's going to be another $800 and a few more days. Ultimately, they had my car for 2 and a half months, charged me over $5k, and when I went to pick up my car, THE ENGINE LIGHT WAS STILL ON! Ok, we're all looking for a good, trustworthy mechanic when we need one: Sam's Alignment & Brakes…read more is a superior choice. Took our 2013 Hyundai Elantra to a well known local auto shop for an alignment. Our car was pulling left after putting on a new set of tires. They said they aligned it and charged us $103.00. Left the shop and notice it was still pulling left. Took it back and the service tech said it was aligned to spec. He went on to say that the car had been wreck and maybe caused other damage. I flat out told him, I have had this car since it was new off the show room floor and it had never been wrecked. So they alleged that they align it again. Took it home and it still pulled to the left. Took it back again and he said they will adjust it so it runs straight but it will cause unnecessary tire wear. Long story short (I know too late) it still pulled to the left. Did some in-depth research and found that Sam's Alignment & Brakes is the best in northeast Oklahoma. Took it to Sam's and he had it fully aligned in 50 minutes. Need I say more? He was so personal and down to earth to visit with while he explained everything he was doing as he was working on my car. Absolutely the best find I have ever made when it comes to auto repair. Best decision you can make, look no further.
