5 or 6 Years ago I got whiplash from training in Martial arts. The Chiropractor that I used to see would fix my neck in a couple visits I would have a couple weeks off and then back to training. Well it would be 6 days before I could see my normal guy and I couldn't deal with the pain that long so I looked on my insurance website found the one close to my job and called. They got me in the first day. Dr. Allen came in checked me out fixed my neck in about 5 min and told me to have a nice day. I said "what do I do now?" He said if you mess it up again training come back. I trained the next day. I have not been to another Chiropractor since that day. I referred almost the entire Animation studio I worked at. 2 and a half years ago my motorcycle was totaled on the 5 freeway and I got to fly through the air and bounce off a car. I wanted surgery to be my last option. My sister suggested Dr. Allen. I cannot say enough good things about this office. First off, the receptionist is amazing. She is so friendly and helpful. I found this office on yelp after being rear ended, and right from the first visit, I felt well taken care of. When you have just been in a car accident, you need a chiropractor/staff that knows what they are doing. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY - Where do I begin... I had a very severe lower back pinch and went to Dr. Allen for a month and saw little to no improvement. He doesn't really do anything to adjust you like a real chiropractor just kind of moves your spine around. Very unprofessional. I was receiving his "laser therapy" that was probably the Fisher Price my first laser model, and he was just standing behind me playing on his phone. I've never been to a "phony doctor" until this guy. Shelled out a lot of money to what I can only assume made my condition worse. I ended up going to Dr Adam Del Torto down the street and saw better results immediately. Dr Allen told me just to lay in bed and not stretch or do anything to help. He eventually gave me ONE stretch to do when Del Torto gave me a series of EIGHTEEN to do and other rehabbing routines. Allen just wanted me to stay hurt so he could take more of my money! When I went to Dr. Allen, I could barely walk. I hurt my back so bad that sitting was excruciating and going from lying down to standing was like an olympic event. I tried for 4 days to tough it out hoping it would get better on its own but it was unbearable. I finally called Dr. Allen's office. Tammy who works the office called me back even though it was after hours and got me in to see Dr. Allen the very next morning. After three appointments I'm almost completely back to normal. I used to be one of those people who would walk around like a zombie because I would have a bad case of stiff neck and refuse to go to the chiropractor. That's because my first experience with one was awful. I remember she grabbed my neck and yanked and after that I would have terrible neck cramps. Well I was finally convinced to go see Dr. Allen after I showed up to work one day not able to turn my neck even 5 degrees. In one session I felt 75 percent better. I mean I had to be dropped off because I couldn't drive there and walked out like I wasn't the walking dead anymore. I had full range of motion just slight pain due to the pulled muscles. Dr. Allen was gentile yet efficient. That's what I needed, someone I wasn't going to be afraid of. Ever since that first visit I've been back 4 or 5 times. Mostly for waking up in the morning and hearing a crunch in my neck. But other times to adjust my lower back because I stand up all day at work. I love his staff and his work.
