My favorite birthstone ring needed repair. One of the prongs bent which collapsed the stone setting. I got on Yelp sent out a few estimates and decided to try Allen's Jewelers. I dropped off the ring and it was ready in less than a week. Not only did they repair the ring but they also cleaned it. It looked like a new ring when I picked it up. I cannot say enough great things about this jewelry business. I have a beautiful diamond ring that was accidentally dropped in my garbage disposal (by one of my family members) at Thanksgiving. While cleaning dishes, I turned it on not realizing my ring had been dropped in there. It was an absolute mangled mess. I thought for sure it was ruined. Another jeweler told me it was not repairable. I wish I had taken a before picture but I didn't. Dennis the jeweler at Allen's Jewelers worked his magic and I could not be happier. Went in looking to add a few links to my watches. I was informed not a single store sells "just links". Ladies and gentlemen unless your going to spend some serious money like an engagement ring, then don't expect good service. Yes, what I needed was cheep, but I could've enjoyed my interaction and maybe started to pursue the store. Was in town for business and needed to buy an engagement ring. Came here and spoke with the owner about buying a ring that at the moment they didn't have. For the pear shaped diamond they would have to change one of the settings on another ring. I also had another ring from Jared that he purchased for $5000 and used towards the new ring in addition to another $5000. He was pressed on time for the 2017 eclipse deadline but he followed through with an awesome ring. Problem I had was I needed an appraisal but I had already left Jacksonville. After reaching out to them and asking, they sent out an appraisal to me. And now as of may 22 I have ordered and received two wedding bands with appraisals in the mail from them. They were so friendly and taught me some things I never knew about diamonds and other stones! I had 2 pairs of earrings that I needed to repair before our 10 year anniversary and was so nervous about the cost but I was pleasantly surprised and they did an amazing job. I'm a big fan of Allen's Jewelers. My husband and I had a stone that he received from his father when he was young. We had always planned to give it to our daughter if we had one. Last year, Allen's created an amazing setting with the stone for our daughter's 16th birthday. It is absolutely gorgeous. This weekend, the stone felt a bit loose, so we took it to Allen's to check it out. He fixed it within 10 minutes and told us to never hesitate about bringing it back in if needed. We also took a Michael Kors watch in to see if they would size and remove links - no problem at all. Charged a VERY small amount for that. I had just gotten engaged and I went to Allen's to have my ring resized- it's an antique ring. The staff was so friendly! They gushed over how gorgeous my ring was, calling different employees over to look at it. They made me feel very special, even though my ring hadn't come from there. the first time they sized it, it was a bit too big, but they resized it without charging me again. I was extremely pleased with their service. They even cleaned my ring so it was especially sparkly. Several weeks later I returned to them in a panic because one of my diamonds had been knocked out while I was unpacking. Dennis, the same person who sized my ring, calmed me down and fixed my ring beautifully. You cannot tell that any work has been done! I would definitely return to Allen's again. read more

I went to Allen's because of the good online reviews for custom pieces. I sent a few ideas over via email, then went in to meet with Dennis. I gave him 3 rings (engagement ring, wedding band, and 3-stone anniversary ring) and asked for two new rings to be made. He made an heirloom cluster ring with the larger stones and a pave-set eternity band with the smaller stones. I picked them up today and he did an AMAZING job! I am so pleased with the finished product and Dennis' work. The staff is very friendly, Dennis is an amazing jeweler and craftsman and I can't recommend Allen's highly enough. read more
