(Too be fair it was a bit too tight even before my accident). Kingsley Jewelry cut it off at no cost. They suggested I give my finger some time to heal, and they would measure and resize my ring. Well, my finger is healed and I went back in and dropped it off. Less than 24 hours later and I have my ring back. It looks absolutely amazing and there is no way to tell it was ever cut. I messed with it for several months and then called Jim and discussed with him. He came and picked up the clock again. As mentioned, he has had my clock for eight months with no repair accomplished. There were no updates unless I texted or called him. His only response would be for me to be patient and that clock repair takes time. I've had many clocks and dealt with many clock repairmen and have never seen anything like this. I have also noticed several reviews similar to mine with people frustrated over the long waits and no intermittent updates after extended periods of time. I finally picked my clock up today and will take it elsewhere. The clock does not run at all now, so I have no idea what he has done. I would be very cautious about utilizing clockworks repair services and make sure that if he keeps your clock for an extended period of time that he will at least update you. I believe he has too many clocks and does not spend intermittent time on any specific clock to monitor time regulation and other issues issues he might be dealing with.

This shop will hold a special place in my heart forever!…read more When I was shopping, my boyfriend stumbled upon this place and surprised me by getting my ring reshaped from its very smooshed oval shape back into a circle. He was chatting with Leonard about his projects, and having a good time distracting him from getting his work done, I'm sure, but Leonard was very nice and answered all of his questions. He told us how he makes jewelry and about his different tools, which was fun to learn about. While we were there, Leonard pointed out how delicate my ring had become over the years of wear. It was very thin and starting to separate in places, so reshaping it was tricky. He showed me under a microscope where the ring was worn down. My dad got me the ring in Mexico on my 16th birthday, and I've worn it everyday since then. I'm in my 30's now, for reference...it's been on my hand for over than half of my life. My dad passed away, so I need this ring to last. I asked if he could fix it, and he did me one better: he said he could make a mold of it and create a copy, but make it a bit thicker so it would last longer. That way, I can put my prized ring somewhere safe, but still have one to wear without worrying about it breaking. I just got the new ring back today, and it's absolutely perfect! They clean your jewelry at no charge and have a decent selection of gemstones, diamonds, gold and I think they had silver as well. I saw a book over on the counter so I think they do special orders. It could have been a bit brighter in the store as it was not as bright as many jewelry stores that sell diamonds. Also I felt they could have been a bit more friendly but I guess some people just want to get their jewelry fixed and not have too much conversation.
