If you are looking for an allergist - your search ends here! I see Dr. Nadel and he is awesome. Excellent bedside manner and really knowledgeable. I started allergy shots last year and have really noticed a difference. All the staff is really sweet and I am pretty sure I have met just about all the nurses by now. There are extended hours on Monday which is really convenient so I do not have to miss work for my appointments. There is ample parking which makes coming in and out a breeze. There are also multiple locations (I have been to this one and the Cumming location) so there is ample coverage for the metro Atlanta area! I moved 30 minutes away and transferring locations was seamless. It was a matter of asking and my chart was sent right over. I am really happy with my choice and would highly recommend this practice. read more

Horrible. They are very unprofessional. They don't have an answering machine. They are closed between 12 and 1 for lunch. I never got an appointment. A week after I cancelled my appointment, they are still calling. I bet they will try to charge me for not showing up. The people that answer the phones are not pleasant. It's always keep calling. I do have a fulltime job. I can't keep calling. The phones roll over to other offices and they don't know what to do. read more

I feel like it's important to note that this is my first experience with an allergic reaction and my initial appointment with an allergist. The office apparently doesn't receive new appointment notifications from ZocDoc, so the front desk coordinator had no record of me or my confirmed appointment. Once that was smoothed over, it took 30 minutes to see a nurse for vitals. Dr. Rabinowitz barreled into the room rambling about how busy he was with other patients, didn't ask any questions about why I made the appointment, proceeded to read my new patient form out loud to me and talk over me whenever I tried to explain what I believed to be the cause of my allergies, ordered a battery of tests I didn't feel that I needed, and then just walked out. The nurses were friendlier than the doctor but there was no testing process explanation or side effect warnings for the tests and breathing treatments they were ordered to run on me. Seeing that I was almost positive I already knew the cause of my allergies, I declined a majority of the testing. His nurse ran the tests I was comfortable with and we had a positive match. Dr. Rabinowitz was not happy with my desire for a conservative approach and condescendingly challenged me to write my own treatment plan since I was picking and choosing what I thought was best for me. The front desk coordinator wasn't even remotely surprised that I didn't want to make a follow up appointment with Dr. Rabinowitz but suggested I see one of their other allergists ensuring I'd be much happier with their bedside manner. read more

This was my first appointment at this doctors office and I had read that they were specialized in eczema regimens and treatment options. I saw Dr. Rabinowitz and he came straight into the room, did not ask how I was feeling or what I was in for. Instead, read my chart to me and asked why I would come to the doctor after only have an eczema break out for a month. Preceded to tell me how I should not see a doctor for such a "minor issue" and I need to be cautious telling people I have "eczema" considering some people battle with much more serious cases every day (which in my chart I explained I have a mild case but no history of allergies/rashes on my face so I wanted to figure out what was going on). He then ran out of the room after reading my chart and telling me how I do not even have an issue, granite did not ever look closely at my face, touch my face which is very scaly, etc. He then came back in and said your only option is to get allergy tested because I do not even see an issue with you, then left again. Did not explain any of the testing to me, how long it would take, what they were testing me for, etc. So the nursing staff came in to prepare me and I asked what allergy testing entailed...they were then able to tell me details which I did not consent to or know from the doctor. I then left and not any of the other staff were surprised I was upset after my encounter with Dr. R. All in all DO NOT see this doctor, he will challenge what you are there for and discredit any subjective information you provide. I would give 0 stars if that was an option... read more

Extremely pleasant experience all around! The reception ladies are fantastic. The nurses are SUPER nice and very good at what they do. The doctor is the best Allergy & Asthma doctor in the Southeast, if not the nation. Very knowledgeable and friendly! I brought my 12 year old and 9 year old daughters in for a complete allergy testing. They were both very scared going into it. The nurses administering the tests were absolutely incredible!!! My daughters felt at ease being there. Dr. Robinowitz is an incredible allergy and asthma doctor. He is the best that I know of and I would recommend him to anybody! He is extremely friendly and is a brilliant doctor. read more

My experience with this group can pretty much be summed up as 'death by a thousand paper cuts.' After my daughter had an anaphylactic reaction to a fire ant bite, her doctor gave me a stack of business cards for allergists. I asked him which one he recommended and he said, "They're all about the same." Well, I sure hope they're not all the same, because this one definitely leaves something to be desired. The problems began our very first day, when we went to the Northside office for venom testing. Dr. Rabinowitz was nice enough, though he seemed to be in a terrible hurry and was visibly impatient that we weren't getting our information across to him fast enough. Once the venom testing was done, the nurse explained the complicated schedule for the allergy shots: once a week for so many weeks, then every two weeks, then every four, and so on. She went over with me several times the fact that we would have to go to the Northside office for the first allergy shot but would then go to the Roswell office after that, and we would have to check with the Roswell office to make sure the serum had been transferred there before we went. Well, it turns out that all that information was totally incorrect. When I called the Northside office to let them know we were coming for the first allergy shot (the nurse had told us to call first) they said we needed to go to the Roswell office for ALL the allergy shots. So I called the Roswell office to find out what to do. It took several phone calls back and forth before I discovered that the schedule the nurse had given us was entirely wrong (we were simply supposed to come every week until further notice) and we were supposed to go to the Roswell office for every shot, including the first one. Needless to say, my confidence was shaken. I felt compelled to check with the nurse when we went in for that first shot to make sure they were actually giving my daughter the correct serum. Though I wasn't terribly confident in this group, I continued to bring my daughter to them at the Roswell office for allergy shots, even after the receptionist raised her voice to me in front of a whole waiting room full of people when we accidentally showed up on the wrong day for the shot. After a few weeks, my daughter had a reaction to the shots and the nurse told me to give her an antihistamine before coming each time. We did that, and everything was all right until last week. My daughter had a serious reaction to the allergy shot (her whole arm swelled up and a bruise appeared at the site of the shot) even though I had given her the antihistamine beforehand. We ended up at urgent care, where they asked us repeatedly whether we had an Epi-Pen on hand and shuffled us to the front of the line to see the doctor. We went home with a prescription for prednisone and directions to take Benadryl until the symptoms went away. When I called the allergists' office the next morning to report on this incident, the nurse actually shouted me down over the phone before I could finish telling her what happened. She kept shrieking over and over, "You signed a paper! You signed a paper that said this could happen! I'm going to make you sign it again!" She berated me for giving my daughter an antihistamine that 'isn't good enough' even though it was the one the office said to give her. Not once did she say anything that suggested she gave a damn about my daughter's well-being. All she seemed to care about was that I couldn't sue their office, which makes me wonder what else has gone on with other patients that I don't know about. By the time I hung up with her, I was shaking and terrified, both of that office and of what might happen to my daughter if I took her back there. The follow-up call that the nurse promised me (she said she would check with Dr. Rabinowitz to see what we should do now) never happened. So nearly a week later, my daughter still has a swollen arm and I'm still giving her antihistamines because when I don't, she starts wheezing. I guess we'll go to her regular doctor and see what can be done. I'm sure as heck not going back to these allergists ever again. read more

Dr. Livezey was super awesome. He listened to my concerns and took them seriously. He offered me several choices for treatment. I also appreciated the fact that I told him I didn't want a particular treatment because it seemed everybody thought it was the answer to the problem he agreed. read more

We ended up with this practice after already having visited a different pulmonary specialist for a new diagosis of asthma. I was less than impressed with their care so I did some research and gave Dr Nader a shot. This office made me feel right at home from the minute I walked in with my two kids, ages 8 and 3. We were there for a few hours doing testing and talking with the doctor and staff. My 3 year old was entertained by their movie selection and toys. Very friendly staff. His clinical staff was very knowledgable. Dr Nader spent alot of time with us, was very thorough with his recommendations and took time to answer all questions. I gave my rating a 4 star because we've only been there once. With our upcoming course of allergy shots, based on the initial visit, I am confident this could easily be a 5 star. You leave the initial appointment with the feeling that you will have no issues receiving great care. I would definately recommend this practice. read more
