So it's been about 3 months since I've been to Dr. Stalker. My allergies are totally cleared. Usually I'm not off meds until fall/winter but it's still hot in July and I'm off all meds - no daily pills or nasal spray. My son who is normally congested to varying degrees depending on season and/or loaded with medication is also off meds and congestion free. Amazing. Less noticeable difference in my daughter as she is generally healthy and has mild allergies. Since it helped me and my son I'm certain it's helping her. Just yesterday my mother-in-law went to see Dr. Stalker and said she felt better right away. "Mother-in-law" - need I say more? She even managed to convince my husband to go in. My husband is VERY scientific; he said he didn't feel any different. Then again he has a list of 14 allergens- well 12 now. I can't deny the results and the fact that our bulk tissue box from Costco has barely been used; normally our family goes through about 2 Costco 8 packs of tissues in spring. With all our allergens and since Dr Stalker charges per allergen, cost adds up quickly. We spend more on traditional medication and Dr visits but notice it less since health insurance covers it. This treatment is usually not covered by traditional health insurance but is within most FSA and Health Savings plan (varies by plan). I'm certain in the future scientists will figure out explanation how this works. (Like those pills made "traditional Chinese way" for sore throat that is now banned for import because the pill contains mold that has antibiotic; it has been used in China for centuries.) My 13-year-old daughter had been plagued by headaches since she was eight. Often her headache was severe, but even when she was feeling better, she would always have a low-grade headache. Pain medication offered a slight easing, but the headache was never stopped completely. We had her tested for brain tumors, neourological disorders, clinical allergies, and glasses. To ease her pain, we tried acupuncture, accupressure, massage, and elimination diets, I suspected that the headaches were due to a sensitivity to something. I just couldn't figure out what! I knew that nuts, MSG, and nitrates caused severe spikes in her headaches for days, but I needed to find what the other causes were. For the next few days, we ate nothing but organic chicken, rice, and steamed vegetables. She noticed her headache going down (on a scale of 1 to 10) from a 7 to a 3. I went in and signed her up. To be honest, I didn't believe it would work, but I was at the end of my options and tired of seeing her suffer all the time. It was nothing short of miraculous! When you have as many sensitivities as she had, you need to get through a few of the treaments before you really see the improvement, but we did see an improvement! During the treatments, she started to have days when she would not have a headache. Then she would have a couple of days without a headache. By the end of the treatments, she was completely headache-free! It has been 4 months now and she no longer lives with headaches! She eats normal foods! She doesn't need Advil 5 times a week to function! (It turns out there was an ingredient in Advil that she was senitive to!) Nuts and sugar are the 2 worst culprits for her, and had to be treated a couple of times to have them 'hold'. The results are truly unbelievably amazing! I want to scream it from the rooftops!!!!! I have suffered from allergies my whole life (mostly dogs, cats, seasonal, etc.) When I hit 30 I started experiencing food allergies identified via blood test using ELISA (dairy, eggs, coffee, vanilla, sesame, etc - it was a LONG list). These allergies cause me asthma and eczema. I have been working to reduce the food allergies by eliminating problem foods and healing my gut. This mostly helped. However, I moved to Dublin a few years ago and got hit harder with seasonal allergies. Then more recently, my asthma never went away. It was always a relatively low grade asthma. This significantly impacted the quality of my sleep. I'd take medicine right before going to bed and wake up feeling exhausted and still had asthma. I scanned them myself to see if they may be "fake", but truly believed many if not all are real reviews - I'm supremely annoyed at Yelp's algorithm for hiding these, but that's not related to this review). Suffice it to say, I'm glad I read the reviews and gave this a shot. As it turns out, I developed an allergy to dust mites - this is what was causing my persistent asthma. My treatments with Dr. Stalker were able to alleviate the allergy to dust mites as well as the 29 other categories of stuff that I'm allergic to (yes! I was a mess with a lot of allergies before these treatments). My life has seriously changed for the better. I am a much happier person (which my husband and kids also appreciate!). There is a relatively recent 1 star review. My only comment regarding that is that the person didn't give this a chance. It is serious whacky the way it works, BUT IT WORKS! I have since referred numerous people and all have had relief. I remember thinking "where were you 40 years ago?!?" My 4year old son developed asthma last September. He had been on steroid nebulizer for straight 4months since he had chronic cough and whenever he caught a cold, he wheezed. I wanted know the root cause of his illness since he had been a healthy child so I took him to two big allergy clinics to test what he was allergic to. At both places, all came negative. I was told that he might be too young for these tests. In the process, I went to many doctors, was told many different things and spent a lot of money. Then, I realized that his cough is due to post nasal drip and nasal congestion. When he began to use a steroid nasal spray as an Ent doctor suggested, he got much better. But then he had to use the steroid nasal spray every night. I was told he might have to use it for years. I was concerned about the side effect of steroid on a young child for a long period of time. Not sure what Steve D. is talking about with his hives and spending how much??? The initial visit is only $25 and is a full assessment and includes your 1st treatment! I was completely skeptical but this was in the spring and was suffering horribly from seasonal allergies. After 1 treatment my allergies were completely gone. Not one sniffle or irritation after that while everyone else in my household was suffering and taking meds for their allergies. It is unconventional so you have to be open to it. I think it's around $70 for subsequent visits but the beauty of it all is you can go as much or as little as you want and usually after 1 treatment, the allergy is knocked out. Also, he tests for everything so it was nice to know the foods I was sensitive to and it was confirmed and right on with my dairy sensitivities. During pregnancy I was diagnosed with cholestasis and it is usually considered not curable. A practitioner told me about AAT and he insisted I do it. I have never had muscle testing work for me in the past and I am not a fan of it. However, it really worked for me this time for the first time and I am very pleased with my results. I had horrible stomach issues that were cleared in 24 hrs after my first session and that is when I became a believer. The stomach issues were a long term issue 3 years and for the last 2 months it was causing my quality of life to become very poor... not allowing me to live my life in peace. Like most people in the Tri-Valley, I have suffered continually from allergies. and tried prescription medications, acupuncture and allergy shots. None provided long term relief. This is the biggest hoax, what a waste of time. Alternative medicine is an understatement. The technigue is a joke and completely bogus. He hooks you up to a machine that he says sends a signal to your body equal to being exposed to a physical substance and then he pushes on your arm around your wrist, similar to the evasive manuever taught in most self defense classes. He asks you about what your alergies are ahead of time and if one of those items come up, or If he wants you to be "sensitive", he presses hard and your arm drops as it would regardless of any so called "electrical exposure". I seriously was waiting for someone to come out of a closet to say it was a practical joke. I can not believe there are not more posts on here.
