Dr. Sophia Yang was really great. When I called to make an appointment I wasn't able to speak to someone, so I left a voicemail and received a kind text message with instructions to complete the new patient paperwork and then I would be scheduled for an appointment. After completing the form and emailing to the office, I called to confirm their office received it and Dr. Sophia Yang was so kind to schedule me an appointment for the same day. I opted for another day later due to my work schedule. Upon entering the office, I was greeted by a very nice receptionist. English is not her first language and she is still learning, but I don't mind that at all. She was very helpful and kind in taking my vitals before Dr. Sophia Yang came to see me (which was not that long of a wait). I appreciate Dr. Sophia Yang, because I could tell she was truly listening to me explain my concerns and she did not rush me. The prescription she gave me helped tremendously. I was feeling much better by the end of the prescription. She even scheduled a teledoc to check in on how I was doing. If I can give NO STARS I WOULD! It doesn't even deserve one star. The WORST receptionist I have EVER spoken to!!!! She doesn't know anything. She's rude. She lies about cancellation. She tries to threaten me with a fee (for cancellation without any notice) , which is a COMPLETE LIE! I have the proof I called and left a voicemail!!! 3 times!!! They try to charge your insurance for shit they don't do! It's crazy how this doctor's office runs itself! Every time I call I get the voicemail. I leave a voicemail and get a text back after hours passing by! It's ridiculous! And quite honestly it's sad that the doctor has incompetent people greeting her patients! I just called to ask if they take my insurance and if they have a walk in appointments available. I gave the lazy/idiot receptionist with a thick accent all my information and she puts me on hold of 10 minutes and hangs up on me. I called back immediately and she didn't pick up. I called her back 15 minutes later and she claimed she was going to call me right back (B.S!) and then she tells me that they can see me tomorrow. Well, 9 months and 2 erroneous bills later and there has been no assistance from Allied Clinic in resolving the billing issue. I am being charged $82.80 for my lab work for the routine blood work I had done, and $62.58 for the routine well woman lab work I had done. My insurance company explained it was due to the codes for these particular tests listed as "non routine". I only asked for routine work from the clinic so I don't know why they ordered anything that was not routine. They also did not inform me that any extra lab work would be ordered. I called the front desk at Allied Clinic multiple times to try and explain the situation and ask how they can resolve it. Nothing has been done. I have sent an email trying to find someone who can assist. I received a brief message with no new information. I am very frustrated and feel hopeless. I just want this billing adjusted to reflect that I owe nothing, as it should be when you go in for a routine visit for routine work that is covered by your insurance. From the pricing to the promptness of being seen, the care and knowledge of the care provider and true concern for the patients. Went to Allied Clinic back in April of 2015 the Nurse Practitioner didn't really seem very experienced nor did the woman at the front desk. I had asked the receptionist to call Aetna to make sure my insurance was in network with Allied Clinic, she said yes I paid my co-pay, waited 20 minutes to see the Nurse Practitioner, and got my prescription thinking I was good to go... After a few months I get a letter from my insurance company saying Allied Clinic is out-of-network!! I am working on my second appeal with my insurance company. I don't think it is fair that I was told I was in network with my insurance when in reality I was not!! Here' the kicker a co-worker went to the same clinic and Aetna covered her claim... Anyone reading this do your own research never put your trust with the receptionist. Make sure your insurance carrier is in network before you make that appointment. read more

Used them a year ago for their "Teledoc" appointments twice, as I had something wrong with my eyes and needed to get it cleared up before my wedding. The first time the doctor called from the back of an Uber and didn't listen to me at all, prescribing me an ointment that went directly on my eye, and did not help. The second time I told her it hadn't cleared up and she gave me a prescription for an over the counter drop that cleared up the redness but did not clear up the massive conjunctivitis that was causing the issue. I finally made an appointment with an optometrist and he gave me a prescription that helped calm it down. Why am I writing this now over a year after, you may ask? Because I finally received the bill, with a statement date of 4/22/2022. They also said I could only pay by mailing in my credit card information or giving it over the phone, which I don't feel comfortable doing. They finally called me today and sent me a link to a payment portal, as I have not been able to go into the office and pay directly, with the stipulation that if it wasn't paid today it would go to collections. I feel this was severally mismanaged and don't enjoy being threatened to pay less then 2 business weeks after receiving the statement. Please take my advice and choose a different clinic. I should have read the reviews listed and decided to go somewhere else. read more

I have actually changed to make allied clinic my primary care doctor. They make everything so easy and are very attentive when I need care. I have used them for physicals and routine health checks. I have also used them for actual emergencies. I have been to doctors in the past that I needed important forms filled out that took over a week. My form was back the same day from Allied clinic. Misty is gone. I can no longer recommend them as a primary care provider. I have visited there a few times since she left and every time has been a nightmare they're really polite but seem to want to blame the patient instead of treating the symptoms. Listening and trusting people to know their own body and symptoms and their reactions to medication is a much better idea for a healthcare provider. i came here because i have been having severe leg cramps for several days. I did some research online about that and the advice is to stretch, drink lots of water, etc. If all else fails try a muscle relaxer. Awful! I went here because they have Saturday appointments. It was feeling ill so I set up appointment via zocdoc. I didn't see the nurse which was expected. No one was in the front office when I got there. It was just me and a courier who was picking lab work I'm assuming. It took about 7 minutes for someone to actually come to the front and that was after I called from my phone :/ My experience there was uncomfortable and the nurse, PA or whoever the hell she was extremely condescending and proceeded to treat me like I was a damn teenager . She was questioning whether my husband was being faithful to me or not. I felt like I was in an after school special PSA about teen sex sponsored by Planned Parenthood. She was on Google trying to figure out what to prescribe me and that was unsettling. I didn't get info on my blood work until I called 3 days later and the PA there told me "oh yeah I was just calling you.." At 6:30pm!? GTFOH! I had additional tests as well and didn't get those results as I had requested. When I asked for someone to explain thyroid results as well as vitamin D and B12 deficiency, they charged my insurance an office visit. I will not be going here again, lesson learned. read more

I cannot stand this place. If I could give 0 stars, I would!! I was trying to get a prescription refill and they would never call me back. Even my local CVS called multiple times to speak with them and said they had never dealt with a doctor's office so uncooperative. I called 10 times in the matter of 2 days and the receptionist, Rachel, was so unprofessional. They wanted me to get a procedure done that only needs to be done every few years, even though I had just gotten it done a few months prior. It seems like they just wanted to charge my insurance multiple times for unnecessary procedures. Finally, after being fed up and asking for my information to be sent to a different doctor, Rachel hung up on me. I've been a patient at Allied Clinic for 2 years now. I have to be honest and say that in the beginning I would have given them 3 stars. They've always provided good service but not five star service until they hired a new PA to run the clinic. Now, my service provider, Misty Wright, P.A. not only provides excellent overall health and wellness screening, she cares. My wife and mother now use her as their sole provider as well. She is knowledgable, prompt, comforting, thorough and extremely professional. Whomever owns Allied Clinic made a good decision in choosing Misty to run the clinic. Even though the clinic is outdated and it seems the owners don't invest in its appearance, you will get great medical care from Misty Wright. read more

For a routine annual physical, we had to wait an hour after the initial paperwork was done. That when we had already booked our appointment (though ZocDoc.com) & showed up right on time. Very irritating experience. Also, the front desk person asked us to fill up the form, even though we had already submitted all our information in ZocDoc registration. Stopped in first time today for an ear infection - in and out in under 20 minutes with no wait. Will highly recommend and use again

For the two years I've regularly sang praise about this clinic! Each and every time my son had had a fever or bump or what have you- I've taken him here and seen PA Misty Wright. She goes above and beyond, she takes her time and goes over questions and concerns. However the last two visits we've seen Dr. Yang and I can not begin to tell you how much of a difference there is between the two. She's rude and rushed, not helpful and can barely remember your name as she's treating you. Her staff, specifically Stephanie is beyond slow! After arriving ten minutes early for a scheduled appointment, we waited an hour to be seen and then we're told that they do not accept our insurance! Yet a week ago she saw my son and asked to see him again for a follow up appointment. Such a huge waste of time. I will never return or recommend this clinic again! DO NOT GO TO ALLIED HEALTH CLINIC AND HAVE MISTY WRIGHT PA AS YOUR HEALTH CARE PROVIDER. My partner has been a patient of Misty Wright for a year and she was extremely unprofessional and verbally abusive. My partner is a type 1 diabetic since the age of 16, eats healthy and has NEVER been hospitalized at the age of 27 now. A month ago Misty instructed my partner to have his routine lab work drawn. She did not instruct him to fast before his lab work and he had breakfast. She called us and instructed him to go the emergency room for an elevated blood glucose. The Emergency room Endocrinologist asked why a type 1 diabetic with a normal blood glucose was in the ED for non fasting lab results with an elevated blood glucose. Keep in mind we were told by Misty he was in Diabetic ketoacidosis. Four hundred dollars later and a urine sample in the ED that was negative for ketones we were asked by the ED physician why were even there. Fast forward a month. My partner went to a regular routine follow up appointment with Misty PA to have his insulin refilled. He was taken to an exam room alone and told that his legs and arms and penis would be cut off if he did not control his diabetes better. My partner has been a diabetic since he was 16 and has never been hospitalized for diabetes. He also has a partner (me) who is a registered nurse with a history of working with pancreas transplant patients who ARE type 1 diabetics. When he brought up the fact that his spouse who is a nurse cooks for him, plans health meals, and monitors his blood glucose he was told by misty that I was not "apparently doing a good job." He was told that he was being dismissed from Allied clinic that day and was handed a referral letter to an Endocrinologist that Read in BOLD handwritten letters by Misty REFERAL TO ENDOCRINOLOGIST FOR A NON COMPLIANT DIABETIC. Misty also asked my spouse how much insulin my partner was administering and which pharmacy he would like his insulin prescription sent to at the same clinic appointment. Nighty five dollars later for her office visit she never sent the prescriptions Today my spouse is running out of his insulin in 5 days. I normally would let this go and find a much better health care provider with better bedside manner and less of an abusive personality but I received a letter in the mail today Dated October 10, 2016 dismissing my partner from their clinic on 2/18/2017. Keep in mind we saw Misty on 2/18/2017 not 2016. The letter was also signed by a Dr. Shu Yang, MD who has never examined or seen my spouse. She even signed the letter that was dated 2016 for a 2/18/2017 clinic dismissal. This place is an embarrassment to the medical profession. I plan on reporting this clinic to the state board for abuse and negligence. read more

This is exactly the medical care you were hoping for when you were looking for a primary care physician with a competent and efficient staff and sincere compassion. I burned my arm with drain cleaner and decided I needed to see someone quickly and as you know, your insurance will do anything to keep you from visiting the emergency room. So I searched online and saw Dr. Yang was on my plan and I called. The reception was warm, comforting and "Come on over and we'll take a look." I was seen in less than fifteen minutes, with the PA in less than five after that and being treated on the spot. I grew up in a small town in Northern California where I could literally walk into our doctor's office and have him remove the nail, set my arm, stitch, whatever just by walking in. I didn't hve no insurance $79 for a office a office visit(I will before its said and done). I found this place on the internet. I was seen on a Friday was dx w/ earache and giving antibotic rx and debrox costing $8. 4 days another $35 dollars later I was still in pain, no appetite, constant throbbing pain (just some of my smyptoms) .I told the doctor what going on. She did her exam. Conclusion: current antibiotics weren't working. I waz given a zpack no pain medicine (orally) a script for ear drops that where supposed to help with my ear pain even thought i did ask. Too make a long story short antibiotics were $14.00 ear drops where $200 I decided I didn't need ear drops. After being in pain for 1 week and otc pain medications not working I decided to go to the ER. I was misdiagnosed from day 1. Er doc dx me with a dental abscesses/facial infection so even if i did have a earache on the second visit the doctor should have known about my dental problem as I wad unable to open my mouth, talk, eat, swallow etc...... My ear is fine so this z pack antibotic is and will not help this dental abscesses. I dont think I could or would recommend this place just seem like they are in just for the money. Just be careful if you decide to go here seems like they are all about money. O yes I do have earwax in my right ear, favorite ER didn't say nothing was wrong with it, according to allied clinic doctor I need to debrox as instructed as she cant see with her otoscope in my ear. She offered I could have ear wax removal for $20.00 um I said no thank I will do it at home. I dont need debrox again ER doc didnt say anything about my "ear wax" or he didn't say he can not see in my ear. So Dont Go Here. read more

It's sad that I have to give this place 1 star, as they deserve NO stars. If you care about your health & your time, DON'T go here! The doctor is NEVER there. They have no PA's or NP's here & that's strange for a WALK IN clinic. I guess if you just walk in, you better hope the doctor is in. I used to go here all the time for many years but NO MORE. Back in December I went here 3 times only to be told the doctor isn't there, she doesn't come in till later or she's supposed to be here, but isn't. When you take the bus, you can't just come back later as they suggest. So why is this place even open with no doctor, no PA's & no NP's? I needed to get my blood pressure medication & Dec. 12 was the last time I went there & the last straw. Of course, the doctor wasn't there. The receptionist told me she was making outside calls. Okay, I didn't know she made house calls but whatever. When I asked about that, the receptionist said, "It's really none of your business, but she has outside patients." Thank you, I could do without the attitude. She said they had made an appointment for me the Saturday before, which I never got contacted about, & she said the doctor was there that day. Yeah, right. They used to have some wonderful PA's there, but I guess they got smart & left. Bad for the patients though.
