Turned me away while in excruciating throat and chest pain because they double booked me. Couldn't bother to take a quick test.

Dr. Sophia Yang was really great. When I called to make an appointment I wasn't able to speak to…read moresomeone, so I left a voicemail and received a kind text message with instructions to complete the new patient paperwork and then I would be scheduled for an appointment. After completing the form and emailing to the office, I called to confirm their office received it and Dr. Sophia Yang was so kind to schedule me an appointment for the same day. I opted for another day later due to my work schedule. Upon entering the office, I was greeted by a very nice receptionist. English is not her first language and she is still learning, but I don't mind that at all. She was very helpful and kind in taking my vitals before Dr. Sophia Yang came to see me (which was not that long of a wait). I appreciate Dr. Sophia Yang, because I could tell she was truly listening to me explain my concerns and she did not rush me. The prescription she gave me helped tremendously. I was feeling much better by the end of the prescription. She even scheduled a teledoc to check in on how I was doing. The telecom was very helpful and convenient as I did not need to come to the office. I highly recommend Allied Clinic and seeing Dr. Sophia Yang. Thank you so much! (Carla B.)

If I can give NO STARS I WOULD! It doesn't even deserve one star…read more The WORST receptionist I have EVER spoken to!!!! She doesn't know anything. She's rude. She lies about cancellation. She tries to threaten me with a fee (for cancellation without any notice) , which is a COMPLETE LIE! I have the proof I called and left a voicemail!!! 3 times!!! They try to charge your insurance for shit they don't do! It's crazy how this doctor's office runs itself! Every time I call I get the voicemail. I leave a voicemail and get a text back after hours passing by! It's ridiculous! And quite honestly it's sad that the doctor has incompetent people greeting her patients! And does nothing about it.

Dear friends, have you ever had a toothache? I mean one in which the posterior gum is tender, and…read morethe slightest vibration from a gust of wind can cause electrifying pain. If you have, I empathize. If you haven't, I don't recommend it. Yesterday evening, I had tear-jerking pain from the toothache described above. The after-hours operator at my dental office recommended I go to an urgent care clinic to get the pain addressed, as apparently dentists are unable to call in pain medication over the phone. We hopped in the car and sped to the nearest urgent care we could think of: FastMed on University, which was set to close in 15 minutes. This is a clean and easily-accessible facility. We entered a lovely (and mercifully empty) waiting room. The front desk was not occupied the moment we arrived, but we did see a sign which read that a physician assistant was the only medical provider on-site. I deemed this a bonus! I was hopeful to be seen, and to have my medical issues addressed. A friendly receptionist appeared to talk shop with us, and soon after a curious radiology tech came out to chat too. It ultimately became evident that there was not much they would be able to do at FastMed. I unambiguously wanted pain medication, but they explained the best they could swing would be antibiotics. Well, between a host of infection-related symptoms I do not have, versus general pain so great I can only weep, I'm able to discern what medications I need. The receptionist did recommend a dental urgent care that I do plan on visiting, as well as dosage recommendations for NSAIDs. So, for being a helpful resource, and for being gracious enough to entertain my issues so near closing time, I say FastMed is "A-OK." I am obviously disappointed that they were unable to help me, and mildly annoyed that they deemed antibiotics a usable treatment without checking my vitals. Nevertheless, if you have non-pain-related health issues, perhaps this clinic would be good for you. Godspeed. Now then, back to my regularly scheduled 800mg of Advil. *** An important edit to my review *** It should be noted that the medical assistant and radiology tech with whom I spoke were not qualified to dispense the medical suggestions they made. This clinic will certainly not be receiving my patronage, but I still submit that for non-pain-related issues, they may be acceptable. Just make sure an actual medical provider assesses you.

Now I am strictly Rebeca Rowen's patient and LOVE HER!!!! One visit I got a random person and instead of him reviewing my chart he decided a lecture was far better. I walked out in tears. What finally caused me to write this review unfortunately has nothing to do with the provider herself, it's the company's process. Today's call to make an appointment ended with asking for my insurance information and reminding me (first time I've heard this) that they do NOT verify insurance, it is my job to do so. WHAT?! Since when did this became their policy? So if you don't fully understand what the comment means, IF YOUR INSURANCE IS OUT OF NETWORK AND YOU DIDNT CAL YOUR INSURANCE TO CHECK YOU WILL BE RECEIVING A BILL that would most likely have been covered or had a higher coverage rate had you gone to an in network Dr. So if this isn't a problem for you make sure you always verify with your insurance because they can be in network for one visit but for a future appointment no longer be in network.
