My sister and her husband go to this location and when I was looking for a place they recommended Grove Health Dental. Pleasant staff, clean, and state of the art tech. First visit was a cleaning with a filling. (The filling being the only reason for me to go. I hadn't been for about 8 years) Everything was normal. I would say that I was happy. If you asked where to go I'd mention where I go. No biggy. It wasn't until my second visit recently that it became impressive. I get a notification of my appointment on my phone. Awesome. You ever forget? Happened to me once, so it's nice to have that backup. They have my same insurance, and everything is preprinted and ready to go. Filled out and copied from my last visit, they tell me, "Go over it and if anything has changed please mark it, if not, sign at the bottom". I'm thinking "Thank god I don't have to do this all again. What a smart and efficient way to go about it. I get my cleaning and I ask about my old orthodontic work and if the small damage to my teeth (A result of poor brushing as a kid) could be dealt with. I had HSA money to burn and It is something I've always felt self conscious about. He tells me about a non-invasive method to remove or minimize the visible damage to my teeth. I'm interested and they have time to do it right there (AWESOME saving time). Ultraviolet light guns, dental dams, chemical compounds, and tools later I have a happier smile. SO right before he finishes is what I feel is the most important part of the story for anyone choosing their Dentist office. They are basically done and compare the before pictures with what they have now. The assistant and him are in discussion of the improvement and I notice he is half listening and agreeing as he changes his view, moving his head from one side to another to get different angles of the work, I can see he is dissatisfied and tells me he's going to go over it AGAIN. It's that kind of workmanship and pride that separates your good from your great. I look for details like that whenever I make decisions concerning people and places. I know not everyone's experience is the same, but if you're looking for a place to start a lifelong relationship, start with this place.

I had an excellent visit with Dr. Thomas Vincent. He made sure to introduce himself, had great chemistry, respect and flow with all of his staff. He was easy to talk to and answered all my questions. He was very informative about everything that was being done same day and made some great recommendations about things to do in the future. Not only did he care about my teeth health & bone health but he was the first dentist I've ever that suggested a teeth whitening! I've always wondered but no one's ever suggested it. Im super excited to be getting it done and can't wait to see the down the road progress of my dental health as well as cosmetic improvement! Ended up waking up in the middle of the process and so they had to make sure I was out for it since I didn't want to be awake. Everything else went great. But fast forward to a few weeks later. It's the beginning of January and I'm back in school. Earlier one morning I was brushing my teeth and accidentally hit one of the openings. Later that day my cheek started to get hard, puffy, and warm. So I went to my schools clinic. I told them what happened and they said I need to go to the Ortho as they thought it was a infection and they don't have anything to deal with that. So I did. Went into this place and told the desk what happened and they told me I need to make an appointment!! Seriously?! They didn't even check with my doctor to see if she can see me real quick. I told them ok and set one up (the only opening they had was one that was a week later!) but by then I'm pissed off yet again. What happened if I go to the hospital for this? What happens if it got worse? What happened if it's really really serious? So I took my stuff and went all the way to my dentist office in Pheasant Ridge. They were able to get me in and checked on even though they are busy. We figured out the problem. It was an infection. We were also able to get me help to fix the infection. Overall, the people at the front desk of this specific location seem to not care about their costumers. They were there to work but not help people. They never admit that it was their fault and blamed in on everything else. Apparently, they said I had enough "points" to cover the normal cleaning service I had done that day. Confused, I asked and repeated back that the service is all covered via their "point system". Rushingly, they all basically replied yes with a really odd blank stare and persisted me to leave as everything was taken care of. I thought it was weird but I trusted them. It's been half a year later and I get a call from them telling me I have a balance due from that very day. I always thought about it and felt like that odd interaction would chase me down the road. Today, I called a recent hire explain my balance in a straightforward, polite manner. What she had explain all made sense, as I was kept up to date with my insurance coverages. I cried in my car both about the cost and the fact my teeth were so awful. I started having suspicions about it, especially when they never followed up on some questions. I went to another very established dentist for a second opinion, that several members of my family go to and I went to growing up, and has been around for more than 30 years. When I went to this trusted and experienced dentist, he told me that not only do I NOT need veneers, but if I were to get them it would only last 1-2 years because veneers are very fragile and because of my teeth grinding I would have ruined them and had to do it all over again. They said if and only if I actually need heavy work done, he would put in crowns, but does not see this happening anytime soon. All Smiles Dental was trying to scam me out of thousands of dollars, and veneers are not even covered by insurance. I would have ruined the veneers due to teeth grinding, and it seems any dentist should know this and not encourage people going broke over their teeth and completely ruining them. I cannot believe they do this to people and to create this financial and health stress in people's lives. I recommend going to Jain Dental in Plymouth.
