Even though they were more expensive than other services, I wanted a pro. At first, everything was good and then things started happening: 1. They hit my l my fence with the lawn mower. Rather than saying something to me about it, they left the gate open and I almost missed it as I let the dog out. I contacted Russell and they fixed it. No harm; no foul. 2. My gate latch was broken. Originally I thought it was the kids but then noticed a large mark on the bottom of the fence like it was hit by the mower. I fixed it. Chalked it up and moved on. 3. Next, we had multiple (over 20) lawn mower hits on the fence. I contacted Russell about it and he said they would be more careful. 4. Final straw... They mowed my grass after a strong rain and destroyed my lawn. You can see mud filled ruts everywhere the mower went. They didn't notice they ruts and stop. My backyard has a pitch for run off from the pool. From the ruts, you can tell the mower was sliding. They didn't care. Just kept mowing. I thought I'd give him a chance to make it right. He did nothing. Then asked me if I was going to pay for the service. I'm glad he didn't ask me that in person because I think I would have lost it.

Manuel was quick to respond and came over the same day I called him to walk around my home and discuss the things my wife and I were looking for. He was very polite and had a wealth of knowledge for how to best maintain our lawn, garden, pavers, etc. We had three primary projects; first being removal of all the weeds and bushes around the sides of our home as it had grown out of control, along with creating symmetrical edging and applying mulch for weed control. The second was to re-tube the sump pump since the existing tubes were now coming out of the ground and for some reason there was also some tubing going underneath our patio pavers which was causing them to all be raised up. The last was to re-level our patio pavers and ensure that they sloped away from our home since the water was starting to pool toward our house. Manuel provided explanations for how to implement change for each project and gave me estimates on the spot. I was ready with estimates from other companies and was able to confirm that not only were his estimates lower, but had great recommendations from my neighbors of their services so I decided to move forward with him. Manuel's crew was incredible, each person that came over to tackle our projects was diligent, precise, and fast. I always tried to speak with each person as I enjoy learning some of these skills and they were always very kind and friendly to me as I observed and asked questions. Our curb appeal has been extremely elevated due to their cleanup around the front and sides of our home, the sump pump tubing has been installed correctly that won't come out of the ground after the winter freeze/thaw, and the pavers were my absolute favorite as it looks brand new after they re-leveled, repaired, and sealed everything. I'm aware that Manuel has many customers that he services, however, the reviews online are scarce and likely due to many people that just forget to post personal experiences. Hired Ginkgo Landscaping to remove a tree in my yard that was damaged by storms we had. Two large…read moresections of branches had come down prior to them arriving. It took about 2 to 3 weeks from the time I called for them to get here, but they at least responded to my inquiries. Sent me a quote and told me that with the way, the schedule was, they were quite busy, which is understandable as all businesses were. They gave me a date to do the job however, when the second section a tree came down, I called them again and someone came out and cut the sections that had fall into the ground up to hauled it away and then came back to do the tree. They did the tree cut it down and I also had one of the trees in the front yard trimmed to get rid of low hanging branches that were close to the roof line. They didn't grind the stump down because although we discussed having Julie come out and mark the ground beforehand, they did not arrive before the scheduled date for the tree to be removed, and I was not comfortable having the grinding done without the ground being marked off. So the tree was removed down to as far down as possible, and the tree in the front yard was trimmed. They kept me a prize of when they were coming via text message two days before their arrival and gave me a time that they would be here so far, they've been very responsive. Their price was fair and the work was done very well. They left the yard very clean with no remnants of anything laying around. All debris was cleaned up and hauled away. I don't know when the stump grinding will happen as we are waiting on Julie and then I'm not sure when that'll be scheduled but so far they have been exceptional with the work they have performed and I would hire them again for any similar work I would need in the future. Or recommend them to friends or family looking for a company to do this type of work. The only reason I did not give them five stars was because we haven't completed the stump removal, but I'm pretty sure that once that is completed, I will update this and it will be changed to a five star review.
