I was told later that he was just supposed to be in the front entrance but kept getting in the way by walking around everywhere in the small venue. North Ranch Center needs a better security company. However, on the actual night of the wedding, the staff abruptly shut down the music at 10:30 PM -- cutting the celebration short with no flexibility or consideration. When we tried to address this, they pointed to fine print buried deep within a long, 10-page contract -- something that was never clearly explained or emphasized beforehand. Instead of working with us or honoring what was discussed, they relied on technicalities to justify ending the night early. It felt misleading and unprofessional. A wedding venue should prioritize clear communication and delivering on expectations, not hiding behind small print after the fact. The way this was handled left us stressed and frustrated on a night that should have been joyful and memorable for the right reasons. I would strongly advise future couples to be extremely cautious, go over every single detail in writing, and not rely on verbal promises -- because our experience showed that those promises may not be honored.

The night lighting is beautifully romantic without being too dark, in addition to the multiple fountains adding elegance. The paved walkways were well maintained and kept clean of leaf litter during our event. The availability of two get-ready suites was essential to our queer wedding, and provided ample space for both brides to get ready comfortably with family. Booking the venue requires you to hire their partner Velvet Alley for wedding coordination (or buying them out), but we recommend you take the full coordination package as their assistance with the entire event was invaluable. Soltana was an amazing addition to our planning team, and that is coming from a couple who is fiercely independent, self-sufficient and has high expectations. Soltana was detail oriented, highly-competent, easy to communicate with, ready to answer questions, very willing to help us solve problems, and positive when talking to us. We can honestly say that dealing with Soltana was a highlight of our wedding planning process and our big day would not have been as smooth without her. Overall, our wedding was amazing, and our guests loved the food.

However, tonight was different when I attempted to buy tickets at the box office. The woman working the box office was clearly purposely delaying opening the screen for me to pick my tickets / seats and allowing time for the other ticket sales person next to her to give the good front row seats to two groups of people in the other line. When I confronted them about this and asked why I was not offered the front row seats even though I was in line 1st, they got completely unprofessional and were clearly saving the good seats for their friends further back in line. Then they told me it was better to sit in the back row anyway because I had kids with me. I am giving this three stars because the facility/theater is very nice, the winter musical was a 5-star experience. However... last night's experience was a 1-star experience because the ticket sales people were very rude and the customer service was lacking. I'll definitely go for other shows, and always will buy my tickets online to avoid interacting with the ticket sales people. As a side note, the ticket sales people were adults, not high school students.
