Eden gardens was a beautiful venue with a great layout for our wedding. Although we did use a healthy amount of florals, the venue's vegetation itself lends much to the beauty of the event and we could have likely had less florals with no loss of ambience. The night lighting is beautifully romantic without being too dark, in addition to the multiple fountains adding elegance. The paved walkways were well maintained and kept clean of leaf litter during our event. The availability of two get-ready suites was essential to our queer wedding, and provided ample space for both brides to get ready comfortably with family. Booking the venue requires you to hire their partner Velvet Alley for wedding coordination (or buying them out), but we recommend you take the full coordination package as their assistance with the entire event was invaluable. Soltana was an amazing addition to our planning team, and that is coming from a couple who is fiercely independent, self-sufficient and has high expectations. Soltana was detail oriented, highly-competent, easy to communicate with, ready to answer questions, very willing to help us solve problems, and positive when talking to us. We can honestly say that dealing with Soltana was a highlight of our wedding planning process and our big day would not have been as smooth without her. Overall, our wedding was amazing, and our guests loved the food.

Working with the teams at Eden Gardens, Velvet Alley Events, and Command Performance Catering greatly exceeded our expectations! This was the venue of our dreams and definitely worth the price. The venue itself is gorgeous, but it also comes with some great amenities that made it a perfect fit for us (such as the cottage and bungalow to get ready in as well as the accessibility). It was easy for our guests to get to, there is plenty of parking, and the whole space is just beautiful. We loved all of the peacocks and water features - it feels like you're walking into an oasis. The cottage and bungalow were as huge plus for us as we got to hang out and get ready before the ceremony in the AC with our friends and family. Our guests kept telling us how much they loved the venue as well as the Eden Gardens, Velvet Alley Events, and CPC staff as everyone was so helpful and friendly. We are also really glad to have chosen preferred vendors, as everyone worked together seamlessly and knew exactly how to get around the venue. The venue and coordinator teams were extremely thorough with the information they provided and helped us through every step of the process. Soltana was able to answer all of our questions and made sure everything went according to plan. This made the day of the wedding completely stress-free and everything ran so smoothly. We couldn't recommend them more and are so happy to have worked with them!

Eden Gardens is truly a hidden gem and the perfect setting for a romantic, unforgettable wedding. From the moment you step onto the property, you're transported into a lush, serene garden paradise that feels both intimate and expansive. The landscaping is immaculate--towering trees, blooming flowers, and winding pathways create a magical atmosphere that's picture-perfect from every angle. The venue itself is thoughtfully designed with weddings in mind. The ceremony site is peaceful and naturally beautiful, needing little decor beyond what's already there. The reception space is charming and flexible, seamlessly blending elegance with a relaxed, outdoor vibe. What really sets Eden Gardens apart is the team. The staff is professional, warm, and genuinely invested in making your day run smoothly. Misty, Marissa, Jesus and Soltana, were responsive throughout the planning process and incredibly attentive & caring on the day of our wedding. It's  clear that they cared just as much about the details as we did. We absolutely recommend Eden Gardens for your wedding.

She was very reassuring since we live 6 hours away in SF and made sure everything we wanted was taken care of. If you want a day-of coordinator, you can hire Laura to take care of all the important details on your big day. We also had our rehearsal dinner here (you can pay extra) to rent out the house on the premises or you could just rent out the huge outdoor area in the back of the house. Table and chairs are included with the rental fee. We decided to go with DJ's catering that Laura recommended and they took great care of the catering + drinks part. That is another business I'd highly recommend. Laura has a pay-it-forward program where you can donate one item from your wedding decor and you get free access to the entire room of decor such as signs, card boxes, table numbers, bar signage, vases, etc to use for your wedding which we made great use of. Our ceremony took place in the front grassy area and the reception dinner in the cobblestone area. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how nice everything was afterwards. We had no hiccups or issues on the day of the wedding, the weather was in the low 80s and by the time dinner came around, it was perfect temperatures. The venue offers plenty of greenery and shade even on a hot day. There is also plenty of parking spaces for guests and areas for guests to roam around the venue during cocktail hour. We hope you choose RDLP when it's your turn to tie the knot, we couldn't have made a better decision.

There are multiple spaces that can be used. Indoor and outdoor dining areas available. Pond with ducks and geese. Lots of paths to walk around in to kill time. I see that there is a residence in the premises. If this is available for the bridal party to use to get ready, this facility is even better than I thought. Food was pretty good too.

Then, many other buildings are also tucked into the areas behind the museum, so it is indeed much larger than I expected! The day I was here, they were setting up for a conference (2026 Reagan National Economic Forum), a few days off, so tons of white tents, stages, and chairs were all over - ruined some great photo opportunities! I couldn't even see the F-14 and the Abrams tank out back until I was between the many tents, but on a normal day, it would be easier to approach them. The entrance is at the back of the entrance courtyard, and I strongly suggest you get the audio tour! It fills in many gaps in the display signage (which, strangely for me, was often hard to read - lighting? Not enough contrast between text and background? Type size?). Most displays had a number that you accessed on the device, which was itself easy to use. But be aware - before you turn in your device at the bookstore or entrance desk, go outside to the back, where the Berlin Wall segment, the Gold Star Families Memorial Monument, and the Reagan memorial site are; there are several displays out there with audio guide numbers, but I had already turned in my device, not knowing this. The America 250 "special exhibit," which had opened the week before, was worth the extra admission fee. Many wonderful, old artifacts, many from the 1700s and 1800s, that really bring you face to face with various periods of the nation's birth and growth. There is even a lower floor to that exhibit space, with large paintings in terms of size and grandeur, along with many displays of items such as vintage flags, rifles of all types from eras gone by, historical documents, garments and uniforms, and much more. Overall, rather than repeating many other reviews here, I will point out that you should set aside a day here to ensure you have enough time to visit and read all the displays you can. There was a ton of new information I never knew about Reagan! And one of my favorite aspects was the many quotes of his placed throughout the museum. So many were beautiful for their principles and what we - and America - are called to do in life. In these times, to hear these words from an iconic Republican president truly struck me in ways I had not anticipated. The Air Force One display, of course, is also cool. And the helicopter, Marin One! And the various vehicles, including an authentic "beast" (If I remember the nickname properly) and a Secret Service chase vehicle. There is also on the floor above the vehicles a history of the Secret Service, and on the ground floor, a mural depicting all of the planes in history that have officially flown a president. The pub in the hangar was closed, but you could peek at it from above. Much history, many beautiful displays in the special "America 250" exhibit, and the outdoor F-117 Nighthawk Stealth Fighter, M1 Abrams tank, and F-14 are must-sees, but you need to find them! May have to ask directions to them. And of course, the Oval Office is different as well. This one is subtle, designed like a comfortable ranch living room with western desert color themes, and it is always fun to step into the office and imagine the conversations that happened there. And the jellybeans! They, too, are there. If you have a day in or near north LA or Simi Valley itself, give it a visit.
