After hours of waiting for a tow truck that ended up canceling on us because we had a 4 wheeler in the bed if the truck, we called Allied Towing and Leo graciously came to help even though he just ended his work day. Please avoid this business at all cost. My GFs car died on the interstate. Allied towed it and did repairs. D was finally called back after a week with estimates of 600-800 dollars to replace the alternator and battery. After 2 weeks car was completed and final bill was 1100 because they had to replace tensioner. She picked up car on Sunday as she was passing through. Besides a broken windshield car ran fine. 4 days later she is given a bill of 1400+ dollars. All her dozens of calls are being ignored. Pretty large bill for two hours worth of work and 400-500 dollars worth of parts. Jim is a con artist and takes advantage of female foreigners. Let's not forget the windshield. read more

​I called at 6:30 pm to set up a tow. They told me to call back in the morning. When I did this they said they would call me back with an ETA . I checked back a few hours later and they told me they would check and call me right back. This went on several times that day. Eventually I just called to cancel the tow . They wasted my entire day , luckily it wasn't an emergency. I suggest that everyone stay away from this company, I'm surprised they're still in business. read more

I've been servicing my vehicles with Allied for 10+ years , these guys genuinely over extend themselves for their clients and are often underappreciated. If you are getting major work done they may choose to replace a part that would be idiotic not to while your car is disassembled, do not assume this is a scam they are genuinely looking out for you and saving you money in the long run, I've had major over hauls done to 3 different cars with them. We got the loaded trailer on the flatbed with very few issues even though one leaf spring had broken and the axel was no longer perpendicular to the side of the trailer. I had a roll over accident and the sheriffs department called Allied to tow my jeep after the crash. I have dealt with allied in the past and until this incident I thought they were decent people. But they most definitely are not! After my jeep was released from them and I paid my bill. I immediately noticed that things were Missing. Many expensive parts and accessories were carefully unbolted and stolen right off my jeep. I was told that anything could have happened because of my wreck including missing or damaged parts. But I knew this was not the case. I built that jeep from the ground up so I know how time consuming and difficult it was for someone to remove them. After obtaining pictures of the crash from the sheriffs department. I was able to confirm that in fact these parts were still attached and undamaged from the roll over. I very politely presented crystal with this evidence and asked to be reimbursed for the stolen parts. After a few communications she stopped replying to me. So I went to the courthouse and was awarded a judgement against them for $5,000. some time went by and I hadnt heard anything so I stopped by Allied one day. With my judgement in hand in hopes to resolve the issue peacefully. I saw Jim in the shop and approached him to explain why I was there. He denied ever knowing of this which was false. the Sheriff had already served him papers and I had been there 3 times before filing a case in court. trying to resolve the issue with him and crystal. He started to become angry and was very obviously under the influence of drugs. He then told me to "Beat it." so I began walking back to my car. I wasn't going to argue with him and he had every right to tell me to leave his property. as I was walking away he jumped off the back of the truck he was working on, grabbed a crow bar, ran in front of me to block my way from leaving, grabbed me by the shirt, ripping the shirt and tearing off one of the buttons, and began threatening me. He demanded that I hand over my judgement paper and give it to him. I explained that it was mine. If he wanted to he could make a copy of it and that it gains a an annual 8% interest, and that I can garnish his wages with it or place liens against his property. Because of how high he was he didn't seem to understand what I was telling him. And continued to tell me to leave but was intentionally blocking my path at the same time while wielding a crow bar. Making it impossible to leave. at this point I think I wanted to leave more than he wanted me to leave. Eventually he stepped aside and I was able to get in my vehicle and leave. Jim continues to defy court orders and settle up on the $5000 and growing judgement I have against him. That's ok I'll take my 8% interest. my advice to anyone whos car ends up in the care of allied towing. weather that be willingly or unwillingly. make sure all your property is accounted for because they will most definitely steal it. These people are shady, drug addicted theives. If wrecking your car isn't bad enough they will surely make it worse by stealing everything from it afterwards. read more

My husband got towed after leaving a vehicle on I-40 due to an unfortunate car problem, state patrol called allied to pick it up. They were so great to work with, we needed it towed to a mechanic and Chris the person we were talking with was so helpful and reliable. I'm a pretty understanding person and seldom write bad reviews, but this was a terrible experience. The employees were pleasant, but I was lied to over and over again. I was lied to about pricing more than once, being promised big discounts that never happened. I was lied to about when my vehicle would be picked up multiple times. The bolt broke on our brake caliper on the freeway. It was causing a horrible scraping noise. So my husband pulled off on exit 241. While we were on the off ramp our car stalled and would not go forward causing all the cars behind us to be stuck. Luckily a Allied tow truck happen to pull up behind us and directed traffic so we could back up for cars to pass. He then called another tow truck from Allied Towing to come get us. They were quick at getting there. They put my kids and I in the cab and made sure the air conditioning was on for them. They then towed us to their shop to look at our car. They were super polite and great customer service. Helped us find a dealership in Denver to take our car to. Towed us to a Denver dealership. They took great care of us. I was very impressed. Would definitely recommend them. Pricing was decent. They definitely saved us when we were in a pinch. So grateful for there service. read more

Having a vehicle towed is usually not a very positive experience because it typically means your vehicle is broken down. Your worried about how much the mechanic is going to charge you and then your gonna have a tow bill on top of it. I am happy to report that I have used allied towing on a couple of occasions and my experience with them has been nothing but positive!! They are fast professional, honest and their prices are extremely reasonable. I called them early on a Sunday morning as I needed a large school bus towed. They went above and beyond placing the vehicle exactly where I needed it and when I received the invoice I was pleasantly surprised. read more

I stopped by and THEY WANTED TO CHARGE ME OVER $300 TO FIX THE PROBLEM THEY CAUSED. I called three times, left messages on their voice mail and with an employee wanting to know exactly what they serviced and they never called me back. Leo saved the day! I called Allied first because they were the closest to my Airbnb. I live in SoCal so I have performance tires on my Range Rover sport. When I was trying to get to my Airbnb for a photoshoot my car was sliding all over the place! I had zero traction and my breaks would pump every time I tried to stop! To say I was terrified was putting it mildly. I knew I couldn't risk the drive back. Leo put me immediately at ease! He was professional, kind, compassionate and understanding. Unfortunately they didn't take my insurance (Geico ) because they required a payment at the time of service but they (Geico) informed me they would reimburse me because they couldn't provide a tow for me. I called Leo back and made arrangements for the following day. I even called him late in the night because the wind was so intense I was terrified but again he calmed all my worries. Even made me laugh! The next day I called to confirm. He texted me when he was on the way and once he arrived. I met him at my car. He pulled my car out and put it on the tow. I rode along w him and we chatted on the way to the shop. He was a very kind person. He got me squared away and I left feeling good about the situation & knew I had made the right choice w Allied and Leo! I slid off the road and beaches myself in a snow squall. A kindly sheriff said he'd call me a winch truck to pull me out. Service was VERY prompt (slow day? It snowed 1/2 an inch in 10 minutes then just stopped, and I think the storm was pretty localized, so... maybe?) Bobby #2 was very polite and professional, and winched my car about 30 feet totally un-damaged. He then very professionally informed me that "I'm afraid $200 is the least that I can can charge for towing..." To be clear- state law sets the maximum charge for "involuntary towing services at $160, but this company (not Bobby #2, who again was a great guy) sees a $200 winch that took 10 minutes of labor, 40 in drive time and 40 miles of travel round trip. What was the extra $40 for, the minutes you spent on the phone? Moreover, I've had my car winched before (I am not a careful man) by another company for $80. This is price gouging plain and simple. After breaking down on I-70 and limping into Idaho Springs late on a Sunday night, I pulled up to Allied Towing first thing Monday morning. Even though they had a completely booked schedule, Jim took the time to stick his head under the hood, put a pressure gauge on the radiator, and give me some excellent advice. I was able to safely drive home without overheating and feel comfortable that I wasn't going to blow the engine thanks to Jim taking some time out of his busy work day to help a girl out. And after helping me for almost an hour, he even turned down my offer to pay for his time! Glad to know there are still good people in the world looking out for each other. We're super impressed with these guys helping us with a flat tire on I-70. We picked up a screw that was losing 2 lbs a minute. With no spare, our only choice was to recharge it and nurse it to a repair shop or call for a tow truck. Ken said he'd try to fix it, so we made it the 25 miles from the Eisenhower Tunnel to Idaho Springs. Alex immediately went to work on taking the tire off, pulling the screw out, and patching it. He had it done and us back on the road in about 15 minutes, so we were thrilled with their service and responsiveness. read more

Unreal, laid my motorcycle down up in the mountains. Needed to get it towed down, so my girlfriend called Allied towing after talking to people in town, the guy was extremely rude to my girlfriend so I grabbed the phone and told him we would take our business elsewhere. Little did we know how unprofessional the companies were in this town. The older man proceeded to call all the other towing companies in town, to tell them not to accept my service. I was in need of emergency care, and we wanted to get the bike down before dark. Even after triple A pleaded with them to do the job they still refused. Our minivan blew a power steering hose on the interstate on the way to a ski trip. My day today started with a 7am flight out of NYC. Just when I thought my travel day to Aspen in time for the Food & Wine Classic couldn't get any worse (sold out shuttles, called friends desperately for a ride to avoid a $500 car service or an $800 flight) our driver tears the bottom cover of the car on a curb and it starts flapping worrisomely whenever we pick up speed. After stopping at several gas stations and repair shops, we finally find these guys. No questions asked, they cut off the broken piece so that we can resume the trip and get to Aspen in time. It took five minutes, and they didn't charge us. So we gave them a six-pack of craft beer we love and made new friends. You're lucky if you find them and let them rescue you! These guys are amazing and went out of their way to make a bad situation a lot better. My son's car was totaled in an accident on I-70 and had to be towed. When I contacted Allied to pay the bill, they made sure I knew that he had left some things in the car and also suggested I remove his bike/ski rack to use later. I was so upset about the accident I had not even thought of those things. When I stopped by the shop they removed the ski/bike rack for me-which was a huge help since I was not prepared to do so. We would leave 0 stars if possible because we never had the chance to actually see their service in action. We are basically stuck in this area while on a RV vacation because our diesel truck started having some issues. Allied was recommended and we called and were told the gentleman who specializes in this would be available the next day after noon. We spoke to them and ended up parking the RV and got a hotel room to wait it out. We were technically only scheduled to be here overnight and the camp-sight was full, so we could not stay there. So, my husband took the truck up when we were told to and the mechanic was not there, but we were promised that he is the best and he will be in the shop soon. They took my husbands number and said they would call as soon as he came in. We waited more and when my husband called again at 2:00 the mechanic we had been waiting answered, but we were told sorry, but he actually won't be in today, only in for a short time tomorrow, and then is leaving.
