John is an exceptional professional and absolutely wonderful human being. He will take care of you…read moreand he will take care of the animals. If you care about welfare and safety of the animals, John is the only professional you should trust with your case. I live far from New York City in a mountainous and wooded area, you could say I live in the woods. It is an area with a very high animal activity. Raccoons, opossum, skunks, groundhogs, foxes all roam freely here and they are here in abundance. I have a house that use to be a cabin and while half of it now has a basement the other half barely has a crawl space underneath. I had an issue under that half of the house. Many creatures have gotten under my deck and eventually into the crawl space. There was a family of skunks living there as well as a family of groundhogs, with other creatures visiting on and off. I was particularly worried about groundhogs because of their borrowing. Eventually constant digging that groundhogs do could bring a structure down. John has devised a plan on how to exclude the creatures and to protect my property from creatures getting back inside. John has also executed the plan successfully. My crawlspace is now free from its permanent residents and from unwanted visitors. Another important detail about my case is the fact that it started late fall and groundhogs tend to go into hibernation during winter. By the time John has secure the deck and the crawlspace under the house we were not sure if the groundhog(s) were still underneath and went into winter sleep. John agreed to leave the excluders over winter and come back in spring to conclude the job. Also refused to be paid in full before the job is complete. Remarkably the groundhog came out in March, it was sleeping all through the winter. One very important thing to know about the initial quote you get from John and the total price you will pay. While there will always, always, absolutely always be some other place, some other guy who will give you a lower estimate, John will be the right choice if you want the job done right. Mine was a large job and the cost was several thousand dollars and I am extremely happy I decided to agree to Johns plan and approach. Prior to John, I had another "trapper" offer his services, and has only gotten scammed. I should have done my research and read Yelp before hiring anyone. If you are still not convinced, check out this article on John from The New York Times https://www.nytimes.com/2008/07/08/nyregion/08raccoons.html

Trapper John is the only person you should call for wildlife removal. PERIOD. I have used his…read moreservices more than once for RACCOONS and can promise you that He takes EXTRAORDINARY care with his customers and is incredibly knowledgeable. His approach is quick and he always ensures your questions and concerns are addressed as he works. He is on time and address the problem from all angles. The level of effort and attention provided by Trapper John is one of a kind and definitely in no way compares to what you get from other companies that just rush you along and do anything to get a dollar whether the issue is treated or not. Trapper John is more than fairly priced and honestly worth every penny for his work and he goes ABOVE AND BEYOND for his customers!!! I would hire him EVERYTIME!! Don't waste your money and get a wildlife control Work from some company that doesn't care about how well your wild life issue is handled and doesn't offer a POST CARE strategy to avoid the issue from happening again!

Pest pro was worth it for a small mouse problem and minor roaches. I talked to a young man on the…read morephone at length before the appointment. I explained that the technician must arrive prepared to assess and treat in ONE appointment. I specified that he must move appliances, stuff gaps with steel wool, get under radiator covers and plug holes with foam-- no more but no less than that. Pest pro was the third place I called and the only place that was willing to meet my requirements of coming prepared to plug up and treat. The other two places said they needed to do an assessment which in my experience can mean just forcing you to pay and stay home all day twice instead of once. The person who showed up was new to the job but came prepared as requested and did a great job. They plugged behind my stove, placed traps behind my fridge, plugged under several radiators, and left glue traps out. In the end a wooden trap that I placed caught the mouse and I haven't seen another since. I'm pretty certain that the kitchen mice were coming in behind the stove which pest pro mouse-proofed well. It was $325 in the end but it only took one appointment and the problem is totally solved so I would use them again, though I don't think I'll have to because they really sealed up the place and recommended some follow ups which I can do myself for larger holes that they couldn't handle wit steel wool and foam.

I had a small German Cockroach problem in my apartment 2 years ago and reached out to Pro Don Pest Management on Yelp for a quote. Daniel replied promptly with a flat rate and availability. Thankfully they had a time slot at 8am the next morning! The rate included initial treatment and also a follow-up treatment (if needed, within 90 days of initial treatment). The exterminator came exactly at 8am. I brought him to the kitchen and bathroom where I saw most of the roaches at. He put the gel bait and also sprinkle some other bait around, pulling out the refrigerator and stove. He also went into the bathroom and put some around the sink and the pipes under the sink. After that, I haven't seen any other roaches around. The entire process was super easy and Pro Don Pest Management was very accommodating. The technician who came was very, very friendly and knowledgeable. I also referred Pro Don Pest Management to my parents who needed an exterminator for a bed bug problem in my grandmother's apartment. After the scheduled visit, my parents haven't had any problems with bed bugs since! Pro Don Pest Management is a life saver!

The tech gave a story how the special caulk they used contained special metals pests hated. The same caulk is available at Home Depot for $10 the free estimate they offer serves no purpose because they tack on the fees where they had to come out on top. Was overpriced on the services received as I read the reviews on this page. Get a second estimate before reading good reviews. Bunch of snark comments were made after the purchase as well. After the job was complete used gloves were left at the job site. Would have been 1 star but the problem as of now has been solved.
